It looked like something I could buy at Costco or any of those big stores and it was extremely expensive for the quality that it looked like it's definitely super small not an actual market and it wasn't worth me going and thinking I could get stuff packed and bring back home. Unfortunately I ended up getting nothing and I rather get seafood from somewhere in New York instead.. I did take some pictures of some of the stuff. I also swing in here when I'm looking for a gift for someone that I don't know what to get, I'll find some cool candy or such. We got one for the 3 of us that year. I had seen Live King Crab only once at New Sagaya but it was special and it's rare. Each year you never know with them. But every year, Aquatech gets it in all through the crabbing season and they ship it all over the world. It's my birthday tomorrow and that means a special dinner of course so I swung by today to see if they have Live King and they do! LIVE Golden King Crab is officially on my menu! These Golden King Crabs average 5-8 lbs each so 2 crabs will be nice for a family gathering of 7. Now the secrets out! Shhhhhhhh!

We needed to get five and so we asked about recommendations on a cheaper cut of steak that would feed fat people and not break the bank. They were really helpful and helping us pick out the steaks that night and then we also picked up some bacon and I believe some dried meats like ham hocks or it was turkey necks. I don't remember. We have gone back and we had thought about looking at meat packages, but we haven't done it yet. We don't have room in our freezer, but they have really good prices. If you're looking straight from the butcher check them out I think you will be surprised at what you can get there and what they do have also ask about anything you may not have been able to find they may have it.

The Bairdi crab legs were by far the largest, meatiest, most flavorful sweet snow crab legs I have ever had. The qualtiy meat was on a par with King Crab in my opinion. The scallops were huge, tender and sweet. I had EXACTLY the Christmas feast I had envisioned! The salmon, as was all the other fish, absolutely beautiful. My only complaint is that none of it was labeled. The outside of the box indicated what might be in the box to give us some clues, but that was it. But since I was a gift, and a lovely one, I can't complain.

She discouraged him from doing that, due to the small freezer size available and offered to, at no extra charge, freeze it for him and drop it off with the hotel concierge on Wednesday on her way into town. These ladies are just the best. So yes you may pay a little more but what you get is damn near restaurant grade portions that are vacuumed sealed with thick bags, and you don't have to drive away to get everything processed.
