Not saying they are purposefully out to screw anyone but they aren't much help when they unknowingly sell you a shit car. Oh also at 4 weeks the driver window regulator is going bad.. that's not a cheap job at a shop... But it's not covered in the warranty and they don't seem eager to help me out there either. We had issue after issue and we had to fix things that he said were already done. it was never safe and was in the shop constantly. Since our daughter is getting ready for college, we needed to sell and get something reliable. We tried to sell it ourselves and one gentleman was thinking of buying it and took it on to get someone to look at it before he purchased. There were still so many things wrong and they said that we were so lucky our daughter wasn't in a ditch somewhere. From being a plow truck with rusted power steering lines, brake lines to a rigged O2 censor so it wouldn't alert any problems,,, the list goes on and on. Knowing all the problems, we just couldn't sell it to anyone so we contacted Kent and told him we were turning It back in. Kent (owner of Tip Top) gave us some money but we took a &13k loss. He said he wasn't going to resell the truck because it was dangerous and would take it straight to the auction. FOUR days later he now has it for sale and is advertising the truck for $18,995 On his lot. This is ridiculous. We have paperwork stating all the problems. Run from this place.

When transfer case was replaced there was no evidence she hit anything and there was evidence it had been changed before, mechanic thinks the bolts were over tightened and cracked. Because the car has been down and in repair more than its ran my daughter hasn't been able to work, therefore they had no food, no Christmas for the kids, and she's being evicted because she was unable to work. I found what I was looking for in Lansing, Mi. Arbogast said they could bring it down and I could buy it from them. A week went by. They told me they were working on it. Another week went by - then I was told it was sold. So I contacted the Lansing dealer and bought it from them. So much for Arbogast.

I was furious with Ford and told my entire family and friends. I'm done with Ford and will never buy another one. Very bad experience. My stepdaughter has a 2020 Sonata she has serviced there. Evidently her husband was told the brakes…read moreneeded to be replaced but he decided not to do them at that time. She asked me to look at the brakes. Evidently someone there decided to torque down the lug nuts including the locknuts well over 300 ft lbs. Torque is supposed to be 81 ft lbs. Her lock nuts including the special tool for removal are basically destroyed. I had to use a 18" breaker bar along with a 2' pipe to break them loose including driving a 3/4" socked on the locknuts to remove them. If she had a flat on the road, there is no way for her to, including a good size man to break these lug nuts loose. What kind of service department lets this kind of crap go on. Nothing professional about it.

During the contract signing, they also sold us a repair "warranty" for $2,500, which we are still paying for. Unfortunately, after 2-3 months, more serious issues appeared, and we later found out that this warranty does NOT cover the actual problems we are facing. This was never properly explained to us. We feel misled into buying a warranty that is practically useless for our situation. Now we are stuck paying for the car, the warranty, and expensive repairs out of pocket.
