I have experienced working with Dan Nagel at White Allen Honda on two separate occasions. The first time I talked with Dan I took notes about things I could expect when I traded in an auto for a new Odyssey a year and a month ago. Dan was faithful to his word. Everything turned out exactly the way it was supposed to and the transaction was handled in a timely fashion. This year I called Dan to find out if White Allen Honda would be interested in purchasing an auto from me. Dan answered all my questions. I took notes again. In 1999, we were on the hunt for an Odyssey and went to a dealership close to where we live in Xenia. They told us the only way we could obtain one was with a luggage rack, trailer hitch, and other upgrades we were not intersect in. We left and went to White Allen where they sold us one exactly tailored to what we wanted. Service after was excellent, and we continue to drive by that other dealership for the friendly and excellent service we always get at White Allen. We have in total had 8 Hondas between us. We keep buying them because of their unbelievable reliability. With only normal wear and tear replacements (like brakes), we have driven one vehicle to 235,000 miles and another to 300,000! We recently bought a used 2015 CRV (not from White Allen) in 2017. Unbeknownst to us, it had a new kind of transmission that was not working well overall in that year's model. Well, it went out on us, and we were shocked. We still owed quite a bit on it, and just didn't know what we were going to do, as the repair cost was very steep and just didn't make sense for us to pursue. From Bill Floyd in service (who is always so kind and helpful to us), to Randy Reed , our sales associate, to D'Arcy Walther, the sales manager, they worked some magic for us and helped us way out of a very bleak situation. Our faith in Honda as a company and vehicle is restored and we are loyal for life! We are so very grateful and have a brand new pearl gray (I love that color!) CRV to enjoy. I said it's no longer under warranty but if you want to make things right call me back. No call. They didn't stand behind their work in this instance and failed to respond. read more

Normally I throw these things out, but since I am looking to Purchase a vehicle I called the number as directed to see what I won. I was told I won a cash prize. Comfortable large waiting areas, tons of charger hookups with any charger you could need already there, free soda, water, tea, coffee, snacks, fruit. I did not buy my Honda from White Allen, but decided to try the service department after being dissatisfied with another one. I found it easy to make an appointment. I found that every person I spoke with, either in person or by phone to be very nice and willing to answer questions. They did the work in a timely manner and correctly( as far as I can tell). And they sent a shuttle to get me from downtown to Centerville. When you buy a car, it's a one time deal with sales, but finding a service department that's good lasts for years. When the guy from the service dept called, I asked him to speak to my husband. I gave the phone over to my husband and he thought my husband called him. He asked my husband why he was calling. No buddy, you called us. Guess he forgot in the second it took me to give the phone to my husband. He literally had NO clue. VERY poor customer service, unfriendly, insensitive and downright rude. Service rep had an terrible attitude. He kept saying he did not care. Not helpful at all and completely unfamiliar with service bulletins and how they read. You would have thought it would have killed him to have an ounce of compassion. Not a helpful person at all. Absolutely TERRIBLE first experience, will not be back. Will never, ever recommend this place to anyone. Will let other service shops and mechanics know to send their Honda customers anywhere else but here. read more

After speaking with the salesman, I was quoted prices below their already low sticker prices on various 2015 models. I felt I was treated fairly and received a good deal for a quality vehicle. Run! A bunch of crooks! Went in requested a keyless entry remote was informed it would be $271 because the car comes with a remote start. After I paid and got the car back I was informed the keyless entry would not be able to unlock the doors and that I needed to purchase a switch for the door for it to unlock the doors and the remote start would not work because the check engine light was on. So basically I paid $271 to open the trunk and beep the horn!!! So I leave and stopped at a convenient store got back into the car and noticed I had not key the key broke off into the ignition smh the key was not previous bent was not taken out roughly or anything then 15 min after leaving the dealership it breaks then I call and they want another $300 to get the key I know they broke my key or messed with my ignition maybe trying to do something with the remote start idk I've had this car for years never noticed the key being cracked or anything! You think the dealership is safer I should've went to amazon and got the darn thing a yard mechanic would've been much safer never again read more

No problems, no weird noises, no hassle, and a ride to work after I dropped it off. Friendly, efficient, and my civic is ready for another 100,000. Have rotated my mothers tires twice, and they don't balance or do front end alignments! Told her they just rotate and send them out. While her whole front end wobbles! My wife and I were visiting our son in Dayton during the Memorial Day weekend. I notice my Honda Accord drive belt began to make a noise. I went to White Allen Honda service Dept and explain my concern and explain I was out of town and I would be traveling back to Florida in two days. I asked the service adviser if there was any one available to confirm the noise and maybe put on a drive belt when time allowed. Without allowing me to finish he cut me off and told me we could see you in three days you want and appointment. I explain I leave in two days to witch he replied you see all these cars they are in front of you, you want an appointment. I felt a little concern being out of town and not familiar with the area. I feel he could of perhaps been a little more flexible and understanding of my situation. I prayed over that belt and we made it alright. read more

This was our second purchase in the past six months from White Allen. I knew when we were ready to purchase again the first and only place I went to was White Allen. Everything about our experience was top notch. The selection was great. But, the best part was we didn't feel pressure and I didn't feel as if I had to play games to get a fair price. Most dealerships I have used in the past the process to just get a bottom line feels like we are on a game show. Our salesman have always been professional. The first purchase we had a trade in and got exactly what we needed. I was worried at first with trading in as I have heard horrir stories. . The finance department was a breeze as well. We highly recommend White Allen. Both experiences we picked out the car, negotiated a price and completed financing in just a few short hours. You actually get to go inside out of the weather where you are greeted by a polite expert that allows you to make up your own mind and does his best to serve you. At least that is the service I got from Bill Morrow last week. Quiet, reserved, knowledgeable, this man and I negotiated a sale that was beneficial both to me and the company. PLEASE HEED MY WARNING! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS CAR DEALERSHIP. THEY ARE OPPORTUNIST, HAVE NO INTEGRITY OR ETHICS AND WILL NOT HONOR ANY DEAL THAT YOU STRIKE WITH THEM. This is BY FAR the WORST car dealership that I have ever dealt with and they have no ETHICS WHATSOEVER when it comes to selling cars. IF YOU CAN GO ANYWHERE ELSE, PLEASE DO AND REFRAIN FROM BUYING A CAR FROM THEM!!! This is my story. I negotiated a firm price for a used car with Chris. He claimed he had to talk to his "general manager" when I offered him $25,000 for the vehicle, but he called back and confirmed that we had a deal. I had the vehicle inspected by someone that Chris had recommended and was charged $140.00 for the inspection fee. Immediately upon Chris' confirmation that we had a firm price and that I would be definitely be buying the car, I spent about three hours that afternoon making arrangements to have the car shipped to California and registered in California. Then I got a call from Chris about three hours later (the same afternoon) that he had some "bad news." Apparently, the dealership sold the vehicle to someone else AFTER we negotiated our deal. Clearly, the dealership got an offer higher than $25,000 and had no problem whatsoever with abandoning our oral contract. The dealership sold the vehicle right out from under me and laughed all the way to the bank. Yes, I was very disappointed and angry, but I simply requested that since White Allen Honda made more money on the vehicle and breached our oral contract, that they simply pay for the car inspection fee of $140.00 because this fee resulted from their fraudulent sales tactics. I cannot tell you how much I have gotten the run around since requesting this reimbursement. When I called Chris, he said that his "general manager" had to make that decision. He said the general manager would call me, but no one ever did. The next day I called again and spoke with Dan, who claimed that he was the "new car" general manager and also could not make a decision as to whether the dealership would pay for the car inspection. He told me that the general manager of "used cars" would call me back. Of course, no one ever called me. Then, I called and spoke with another guy who claimed that Chris was actually the general manager for used cars. This was a complete and utter surprise as Chris had claimed throughout the sales process that he had to check with the "general manager" when HE was actually the "general manager." Then Chris had the gall to say that he had to check with the "general manager" about my request for a reimbursement of the car inspection fee and then refused to call me back. How crooked does it get? Needless to say, it has been a week and no one has ever addressed this issue or ever called me back. Clearly, White-Allen Honda could care less about me and some of the guys from White-Allen Honda that I have talked with on the phone actually seem to find the whole scenario amusing and humorous. One guy laughed when I told him that Chris said he had to talk to the "general manager" because Chris IS the general manager. Apparently, this is one of their many unscrupulous "sales tricks." This is my take on White Allen Honda. They are only out to make a buck and have no ethics or integrity. if you think you are negotiating in good faith with them, you will be unpleasantly surprised because unless you have actually signed a contract (who knows they may breach those too), they will sell your car right out from under you, without any hesitation, if they get a better offer. We all know that used car salesmen can be slimy, but these guys give used car salesmen a bad name. They have no ethics and take no responsibility for their actions. If they had merely reimbursed me for the car inspection and apologized for breaching the contract, I would have just walked away from all of this, but their behavior is unconscionable and I believe it is my duty to warn all of you out there not to deal with them! They provided me with great service. I needed a reliable car and knew a few CR-V who loved their cars. I read reviews and watched several YouTube videos about the car. I knew the color and options I wanted and White - Allen had the car I was interested in. That was Friday night. Saturday morning I spoke to Bill and told him I was in a super hurry. I asked to be preapproved before I got there to speed things along and was able to negotiate the entire deal over the phone. I live an hour away from the dealership and when I arrived I was told my car was being washed. I signed some papers and took my first drive....home! (Glad I liked it ). I believe White Allen did a fantastic job taking care of the airbag recall problem on my 2010 Honda Insight. They provided a rental vehicle almost immediately, and even allowed us to leave our vehicle in our garage until the part they ordered had come in. The whole matter was handled very professionally and with great courtesy. It took a good 21 days, but the team kept us well informed throughout, and once the part was in, the replacement was completed within about 2 hours. An A+ performance. read more

Bought a brand new 2017 Honda Accord last Thursday night. Couldnt fill it up because someone took home gas card, had it detailed brought the car around had little spots all over hood, top and trunk. The spots couldnt be wiped off. Sales manger said bring it back Monday we will have a rental car waiting will keep it overnight and take care of it. Brought it back on Monday. No rental car waiting, stood around for 40 minutes until they called enterprise. We had to have a credit card for them to hold $40 on. Tuesday we called they stated not done yet. Wednesday we finally picked the car up. Sales guy states it was acid rain. I was explaining to sale manger D'Arcy Walther how big of an inconvenience this was to make 2 trip down here and the wait and the $40 and he should compensate us with at least a free oil change. He was very nasty, stated he gave us a really good deal on the car and what did we expect. Well for one thing to drive a car off the lot and it be perfect and for the dealer to do all they say they will do. Please if you are looking for a new Honda go to Performance Honda or Matt Castrucci. I learned my lesson the hard way. read more

At first I thought they were all really, good people and helped to put my in a reliable used, car. However, I was purchasing a AS-IS used car with over 100,000 miles on it. I was kind of in a desperate situation to purchase a car after a bad accident. i realize that a car with that many miles will begin to need repairs. I financed through the dealership and they pushed the extended warranty on me ($1999) ASSURING me that It would be very beneficial because it was VERY comprehensive...while showing me a pamphlet that listed the coverage on that particular warranty. Within a few weeks, i took it for an oil change and they noticed a few fluid leaks. Soon after and after the the December holidays I dropped it off at MY mechanic or inspection and repairs. He called the Warranty company about cover the basics that were done and zurich stated that a car with over 100,000 miles NOTHING (ever) would be covered except if the entire engine neeed replaced or the transmission went out. I cancelled the warranty immediately at a loss of $500. i have asked the dealership to make this right since I was deceptivley sold an extended warratany that was supposed to be very comprehensive. I had been ok purchasing the AS-IS vehicle withou the warranty...but through pushy tactics,some convincing and the contract sitting in front of me with the warranty printed on it... i accepted the warranty since i was gauranteeed that it would be helpful getting basic work done by any ASE mechainic. My car now sits at the mechanic finished with a bill just shy of $500. I have asked the dealership to pay for it since I lost $500 cancellong the warranty after 60 days , and the GM DAN NAGEL....was not only rude & abrasive, simply siad "I'm not paying that bill" and hung up. i have the Dayton BBB involved as well as the Ohio Attorney General fighting my case for me. Buyer beware!!!!....Do Not allow them to sell you the comprehensive extended warranty, beacuse it IS NOT worth $the paper it is written on....especially if the car has high miles (100,000)...The policy NEVER should have been offered, let allow, sold to me on a car with over 100,000 miles because it is basically void over that amount. DECEPTIVE AND QUESTIIONABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES (via the BBB & ohio Attorney General)....there are other complaints via the attorney general of this nature on file...public records. WAH....MAKE THIS RIGHT!!!!!!! read more

Horrible Service Department: I've been getting my oil changed there for about 2 years. I had a feeling they weren't actually doing a multi-point inspection (checking tires, brakes, horn...etc) but I've been overlooking it. My 09 Accord needed a timing belt and so decided to have "the professionals" do it, never again. First, they underpriced the job by not including a belt tensioner in the package. The service manager later admitted that it's not included because if included his prices wouldn't be competitive but tensioners are needed about 50% of the time. The additional $145 SHOULD either be in the price quote or let us know in advance that it may need one and what the cost is. After all, I'm paying double at the dealer and what I expect is quality and professionalism!! There parts department is charging outrageous prices. I could have got the same OEM part at Advance Auto Parts for $50 less but it had to be ordered. The aftermarket cost was half the cost ($76) of the original $150 they wanted to charge for the tensioner (scam). I was upset but was going to let it go... Then no one called to let me know my car was finished. By the time I called it had been ready for about 3 hours. The icing on the cake. They are supposed to do a multi-point inspection as part of the service. Well they checked everything as "good" on the form. However, I know the hand-brake doesn't work and two days later, my brakes started scraping which indicates they need replaced as well. Very unsafe considering I'm getting transferred to a new duty station in FL and really need-to-know if the car is going to make the trip! I spoke to the service manager about he issue, he listened and I thought it went well, but he also said he'd call me regarding a estimate for the hand brake. He never did. Bottom line, go somewhere else to have your car serviced. read more
