We recently purchased a vehicle for my daughter. Although the price posted to the car was higher than what we saw online, they honored the car price that was on their website. We thank Mark for showing us the car during our first visit. We also thank Bo for doing the sales paperwork with us, and for answering our questions, when we returned to purchase it that same day! We received professional and courteous service. They also offered us a beverage during our visit. Everyone, from the sales team to the manager, made our visit a really great experience. -The Bass Family! read more

Drew in service once again provided excellent customer service and is the main reason I keep coming back to Jeff Schmitt. I have been a customer of this dealership for over 10 years now. All my cars have come from this dealership and because of this trust and leadership we have with Drew, it's the only dealership my vehicles will ever see. Thank you Drew for all that you do. You're truly the MVP of this Dealership. read more

worst experience by far I've had when purchasing something. salesman lied about what financing rate I was approved for after I had taken a day off work and was 2 hours away out of a 4 hour drive. then told me it was a "cashless dealer". do not recommend this place at all! Lucky I fell in love with the vehicle because if it weren't for that I would have never purchased it from here read more

had my car fixed on Friday at the service center. came to pick my car up at 5:20pm DURING business hours and someone hit my car. got told while the police were there making the report that they had no cameras to see, talked to someone today and they said "cameras were down for a few hours". they won't cover my car being hit while it was in their possession. my whole taillight and fender are gone/damaged and scattered through their lot. read more

Do not bring your vehicle to have it serviced at this dealership. I brought my Tahoe in to have the side mirror replaced and when they called me to come pick up my vehicle they informed me that my brand new side mirror does not have power. The mirror did have power when I dropped off my vehicle. I'm very upset and will not be returning to any Jeff Schmitt dealership. read more

Needed oil change and tire rotation, went online about 9pm and scheduled for 930am next morning. Showed up about 830 and was done at 930.

Knowledgeable service department that makes sure you're taken care of in a good and timely manner! Great communication and very accommodating shuttle service that has helped take/pick me up on a few different occasions. I have had zero issues taking my 2011 Equinox in for services the past year. read more

Got a quote for 2018 Ford Focus titanium 23000 miles they gave me a 10,000$ quote to sell I feel it was because I was a elderly woman And was not schooled in auto values. We've purchased our last two vehicles at Jeff Schmidt and we will continue to purchase at this location. We've had nothing but friendly, professional service. The showroom is very clean. While the salespeople do their sales thing, it's not a high pressure pitch to make you spend more than you want to spend. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to buy a new vehicle. read more

Our experience was actually one of the best. Joey was very helpful helping when locating a vehicle for us. My husband and I decided last minute to check out the dealership to see what they could offer us. We went in with one car in mind and no backup plan. Brad Crumpler met us outside and greeted us. We had no clue what we were doing. Brad helped us get into a new vehicle that day and we love it. We couldn't have asked for a better salesperson. This will be the dealership we stick with for our future buys. Thanks again Brad for helping us make the right choice. We love the vehicle. read more

Just turned in my truck and got a new malibu, it took some work but was able get to a deal we could agree upon. Very satisfied with how things went. Nothing but positive experiences with the service department. Ability to book appointments online is a huge bonus! Had issues at another dealerships service department and called them when I was in a crunch. They got me in quickly and worked hard to solve my problem. Since then, quality service has continued. Robert took excellent care of me today (Cory and Abby have always impressed as well) and I felt comfortable leaving my car with the department. Thanks for the positive experience, as always! read more

Staff was super friendly and helpful from beginning to end. I started online with an inquiry about a 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500. They were quick to reply and get me scheduled for a test drive. Mark Stovall, my salesman was very courteous and patience with me as I looked at almost every used truck on the lot. The sales manager and finance department were just as helpful as they worked with me to get the best deal possible. Jeff Schmidt will get my business from now on as I walked out of another local dealership that wasn't as willing to work with me. I'll recommend them to all my family and friends!! Thank you so much for getting me into the truck I've always wanted since I was a teen! read more

Worst dealership I have ever visited, ever. I found a car I was interested on Autotrader in and went inside to find a salesman. I spent five minutes with s young man who could not find the car on their computer. The car was 20 feet away outside the glass. He finally took me over to an older salesman. The older salesman had a hard time finding the car on their computer also . It was as if they didn't want to go outside. The weather was not bad. The vehicle was a 2014 Chevrolet. On Autotrader it stated it was a certified vehicle. The car had a sticker on it that was "As Is No Warranty". The salesman said he had to check on that. He said it had just came in. They have had the vehicle for two months. Three days later I stopped by and the same As Is sticker remains in the window. The salesman asked me if I wanted to drive the car. I said yes. He said he would get the test drive paperwork started. He made a copy of my drivers license, which was acceptable. He then brought me paperwork to sign, which most of it had been recopied so many times it was not legible. The first was a release of personal information. The form basically says they could release my personal information to almost anyone. I refused to sign it. He said I needed to sign it to release information to the bank. I told him I had financing and didn't need his bank. The next form was for the test drive. This form stated I was responsible for any damage to the vehicle. So, if I am sitting at a traffic light I and get rear ended I could end up buying the car. He asked me for my phone number and I said I would give it to him on the promise of not receiving a bunches of phone calls. He said he could not promise that as the dealership does automated calls. REALLY? Bottom line I would stay away from the Jeff Schmidt stores at all costs. read more

Avoid this dealership at all cost. Service and Sales both remind me of a shady used car sales lot. No professionalism what so ever. Took my car in for a basic oil change and asked about the cost of the in-cabin air filter instead of quoting the price and calling about it they put the filter in and charge over $30 for the air filter which can be bought at Wal-Mart for $10 http://www.walmart.com/ip/16879087?wmlspartner=wlpa&adid=22222222228017563271&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=40840036472&wl4=&wl5=pla&wl6=78652956152&veh=sem And another $30 for labor when it's this easy to install https://youtu.be/LI1JIZOxI1w And then take advantage of a teenage girl that would not know better to decline the overpriced service. This dealership should be ashamed but most likely all the seen is money not customers there is no such thing as customer service at this place. read more

Austin believed and reassured me that I'll be okay with my dream car. He was an excellent salesman and did not peer pressure me into anything I didn't want. Chris Paul was amazing too. My Daughter unfortunately ran a red light and totaled our 2007 Chrysler Town & Country. Jeff Schmitt and Charlie Stevens started out being very helpful with getting the paperwork I needed for the GAP insurance and such. And I was interested to start looking for another vehicle. But, basically told they couldn't help me without me coming up with a large amount of cash. When another dealership is able to get a loan through the former lender without a cash down payment. I feel that they didn't do what was necessary to try and make the deal. I felt after the paper work was done, I was shoved out the door and treated as a second class citizen. When another dealership is bending over backwards to help me put me into a new car. I feel if one dealership can do this why couldn't Jeff Schmitt? Especially with me being a former client? Very disappointed now with their sales. read more

I would not recommend this dealership. The sales staff are pushy and quickly turn over. The corporation also contacts you repeatedly to make sure you had no other questions. The service department is good; however, make sure you inspect any loaner before you leave yourself. They make this seem like a formality, but it is needed to cover you. They will intensely inspect the vehicle when you return it and try to blame any damage on you. The return inspection is much more detailed than the check out, it's all in their favor. The lease turn in service they advertise is a joke even for a Chevy. After making an appointment, no one was ready to receive the vehicle. The sales person also offered no paperwork to prove the vehicle was returned or in what condition. Finally, they use the lease turn in as a method of drawing you in to try and make a sale. My process took longer than needed just so they had time to explain their specials. read more

I bought a 2010 Rav4 from this dealership at the end of February 2017. I pulled out onto the freeway right after purchasing, and found that it was pulling a little to the left, and had a bit of a vibration when I hit 80mph. I did not notice this during the test drive, where I had hit normal freeway speeds. I promptly turned around and dropped the vehicle back off to the dealership. If I were smarter, I'd have just left it there and forgot about it. A few days later I got a call that they fixed a caliper slide pin that was sticking, and did a 4 wheel alignment and took care of the problem. They offered me $200 off the agreed price, and for me to take it out on another test drive. The vehicle felt fine to me, so I took the deal. Fast forward a few months and almost 5000 miles later, I noticed that the front wheel bearings were starting to make some noise. When I took the car into the shop, I was told that 3 out of 4 of the caliper slide pins were sticking, and had been doing so for a while. Due to this, the heat caused the wheel bearings to wear out prematurely. I understand that I put a lot of miles on the vehicle since the time of purchase, but I'd expect that when they took care of the one caliper slide pin, they would have checked to be sure that the rest of them were greased properly. Now I've got an expensive repair on my hands as the dealership is telling me that the vehicle has been in my hands too long for them to take responsibility for the issue. Be wary of this dealership. I'd suggest looking elsewhere for your pre-owned vehicle. **Update** I spoke with both Matt and Jesse, the managers at your used car dealership. I also spoke with Jay Schmitt. They all advised me that they could offer me the cost of parts, and their cost of labor to repair the vehicle, which is $70/hr. There is no way I'm driving my car from Columbus to Dayton, to have a service center that apparently could not do the job properly in the first place, at a cost that I could have the issue taken care of at a more reputable mechanic closer to home. I'll never do business with this shady Car Dealership again. **Further Updated** - My ability to comment on their reviews on Facebook has been disabled after posting the above update to my initial facebook review. Be smarter than I was. Stay away from this dealership. read more

Took my truck in do service. Oil change and tire rotation. They said it was done ,my son sit by the window the whole time they had not even touched the tires or greased anything when questioned they fixed had to wait an extra hour so a total of 2 hours for oil change and tire rotation. They refunded my money. But would recommend watching to make sure they do what they are supposed to. read more

Husband and I drove almost 2 hours to this dealership because we had seen 3 Chrysler Town & Countrys listed online with great pricing. The features list online wasn't very good, so we called to ask about remote start and window shades. Someone put us on hold, then told us the manager said those vans DID have those features so we made the long trip. When we arrived a sales associate immediately greeted us. We said we were looking for the Town & Countrys listed at $20,000 online that had remote start. He steered us toward a red model i had not seen online but we went on a test drive anyway. We liked the van but not the color/interior so we asked to see the other ones we had seen online. After being there a good 45 minutes he tells us he doesn't have those vehicles and that the one he had us test drive is listed at 23K+. So we went online to look and realized we had entered the wrong part of the lot! We were looking for Cadillac and this was Chevrolet. Although this is a shared lost, and each lot had 3 vans, with the exact same model, trim level, and mileage, the Chevrolet lot minivans were priced 3K higher than ones that were steps away in the Cadillac lot. ??? The sales associate had been very nice and offered to run some numbers for us but we knew our budget would be well over. Also, I had a trade in that even with the worst estimates online said it would be worth $2000 trade in... they offered 1000. Basically, we just really wanted to get out of there. I am giving 3 stars because the sales associate was nice, and our expectations were way off based on our budget, but he could have found that out within minutes and not wasted hours of our time. At least he could have directed us to the correct lot. We said we were looking for the $20,000 vans and he took us to a 23,000 van. We also told him our budget outright and after running the numbers he said "oh I assumed you were putting like 8K down to get to that kind of number". Why would you assume that? Also, we found a minivan on a Delaware lot, it was 18K, it had ALL the awesome options and gadgets we wanted, they gave us 2000 trade in, and came very close to our re-aligned budget. read more

I took my Chevy Equinox in today to get my seatbelt buckle repaired. I spoke with the service advisor the day before and I explained (repeatedly) that it was the piece attached to the seatbelt itself. At checkout my receipt indicated that a multi-point inspection had been completed, however, they fixed the part that was not broken- the part that the buckle snaps into! The receipt even states "replace seatbelt buckle"! I paid the $274 and left, but I immediately returned to the dealership to show them their error. I was told it my fault for telling the advisor the wrong part- the advisor thought I meant the part the the buckle goes into. The service manager told me that the part I should have gotten replaced would cost me over $700. They refused to refund my money saying they could not return a used part and told me I should have been more clear. I will never do business with Jeff Schmitt of Fairborn again and you should not either! I am in the process of reporting them to the Better Business Bureau of Dayton. I am also disputing the $274 charge with my bank. read more

Service department lacks service. Took my 2010 Silverado in for a suspension noise, the technician test drove and checked the vehicle reporting there was no issue and the suspension was fine. Within 1000 miles it was determined the sway bar link was broken at the lower control arm. Called dealer to find out when I could bring it in and ended up talking to the service manager, Jim Brown, he stated the vehicle was fine when it was in previously and it must have happened since it left the service department. He didn't ask when I wanted to bring it back for the repair, just stated that it was fine when they had it and it must have occurred in between then and now. The vehicle is under extended warranty and should have been fixed the first time. This is a recurring issue with this dealer, we have had to take our vehicles back repeated times to get a single repair completed or get a new issue resolved that the dealer has created. They have failed to re-install parts before and left them laying loose in the floor board. They have left grease on the interior, spilled coffee on the seat. Continued lack of service and follow through. We will be going to a dealer 30 min away to avoid this issue in the future. You have lost a service and sales customer. read more

I was going to go through carvana or something similar strictly to avoid having to deal with "pushy salesman" but saw a car I really wanted to check out. Was greeted by a salesman and was ready to run but he was so nice I got to asking questions and he was so helpful. Long story short, Nathan Pence sold me a car. From the minute he introduced himself to the minute we left he was helpful, nice, knowledgeable, listened, funny, and most importantly not pushy!! He absolutely has made me look at car buying differently. If you are looking for a new car I definitely recommend you check out Jeff Schmitt, and ask for Nathan Pence even though the hundred times I walked in and out of the building I can tell you there wasn't an unfriendly face in there. They all seemed to be having fun and loving what they do. I just know first hand that not only does Nathan love what he does, he is really good at it and doesn't make you feel rushed or pushed at all. It was a pleasure doing business with him. read more

I recently bought a 2019 equinox. Great car and was what I expected. Salesman did a good job. My reason for 3 stars is me and my dad was there for 3 and a half hours. All I did was come into buy the car. Already knew which one. Just had to do paperwork. So we sat and waited for 3 hours at a table. They told us they where busier than they thought they would be forca rainy day. It was rainy when we was there in morning but only 2 customers us and another young man.
