While I thought I had an appointment, I wasn't in their system but they took me and got me in and out inside of an hour. I really didn't get a chance to settle in to work while in their lobby before they were calling my name. They offer a no appointment "basic service" option where if you are just getting simple oil and filter changes and tire rotations...you don't need an appointment and man...they are busy. While I was sitting there it was a constant stream of cars coming in for service. We will keep bringing our Subaru here as long as things continue to go well. I have a '22 Forester so I wasn't surprised that nothing was found...but as my car ages...if I feel the pressure of "all these repairs to keep my car functional" I will not be impressed. read more

All the staff who I've encountered has excellent customer service skills, friendly. I've had my Subaru for a year now, and while I'm VERY happy so far with my vehicle, I'm even MORE happy with this dealership. Their involvement in the local community, sponsorship of GREAT events (check out the Adventure Summit every other winter at Wright State and the Wagner Subaru Outdoor Experience every October at Eastwood Metro Park) and all the support they give to pet adoption, and you just know you've found some of the good guys/gals!! Yes, I know, they're here to sell cars, but if a little bit of added on "good tidings," along with that new car smell and free coffee and snacks in their waiting room, there's your added bonus. We spent time at this dealer looking for a Subaru Forester. The sales guy gave us a price and said that there was no more room to move. We went to a different dealer and got a lower price, then asked this dealer if they could beat it. He dropped $500 to match but the other dealer offered extras that still made it a better deal. I was told that the service department was open at 8 am for "express" oil changes. I arrived at 8 am, checked in and waited for one hour and 45 minutes for the "express" oil change to be completed. They did replace an air filter and some light bulbs. When I asked why it was taking so long I was told that the oil changes are first come first serve and they really open at 7:30. I asked if making an appointment would be a way to get a quicker oil change and was told that I could make an appointment but oil changes are still first come first serve. I asked if that meant that they don't honor their appointment times I and was told that they do but oil changes are first come first serve. One star lost for slow service and another for inconsistent information and poor communication. read more

It has already been in the shop once because of a broken valve....1 WEEK AFTER I bought it!!! So if you are looking for a vehicle I would NOT go to Wagner Subaru. All they will do is give you a car that's going to break down in a couple months and tell you "good luck with that and oh have a good day!" ! I just bought a used car from Wagner Subaru on 11/30/21 and found out on 1/2/22 that a fuel line is rusted through and leaking a significant amount of gas. Cost of the repair is around $1000. I paid $6400 for the vehicle and find out before I even buy plates for it that it has a serious and expensive defect. I got the fuel line replaced and then a couple weeks later the car starts shifting very hard, even jerking at times, when going from first to second gear. I bought the car with 101,188 miles and the car now has 101,590 miles. I take it back to my mechanic and he tells me that the vehicle is showing codes for the transmission. I have only driven the car approximately 500 miles since buying it and I have had to replace a fuel line and now rebuild the transmission. The manager from Wagner Subaru asked me to call him after the fuel line issue to discuss what happened. He told me since I already replaced the fuel line there was not really anything he could do to help out now, but if I ever had another issue with the car to call him back. I have called him multiple times now for the transmission and he will not return my phone call. read more

After having done our research online on the makes and models we were considering, we reached out to dealers for price quotes and settled on Wagner as the dealer that had our top vehicle at the best price. Product Specialist, Will, took our emails and responded to our request for his lowest out-the-door price without delay. He even arranged to find the vehicle we wanted in the color we wanted. We spent less than 1 1/2 hours at the dealer; 45 minutes for paperwork and 45 minutes for an in-car tutorial on vehicle functions led by Will, who was extremely knowledgeable and courteous in our dealings. Highly disappointed with the service I received at Wagner Subaru. Four times I brought my brand new STI in for a pulling issue and they were unable to fix it. I then contacted corporate service twice at Wagner's recommendation, and subsequently subaru legal. No one had a fix for the issue. 6 months later, a coworker sends me a SUBARU TSB for the exact issue I had, dated 10 days prior to my third visit at Wagner. Wagner Subaru didn't bother to tell me about the TSB. I had the worst experience with Wagner Subaru including the owner Bo Wagner. On 8/9/18 I requested a price quote for the new Subaru Ascent, I receive the dealer's price with an option witch was price higher then the manufacture's price! the option is code 23 and MSRP is $2,980, dealer's price $3,977. Then they wave me a discount for $500 but actually they overprice the car by $497. The deadline for this offer was 8/16/18. On 8/11/18 I replied to the sells person Will Xue, and also copied to Sam Bexley customer service and owner Bo Wagner. No one responded! On 8/16/18 I contacted costumer service and asked why no one had contact me, they apologize and asked me to give authorization for return call. I authorized that only Bo Wagner to call me and they agreed. Later that day I received a call from a sales person named Greg. I again, told him that my authorization was given for Bo Wagner to call me and not Greg! Also, I, again requested Bo to call me ether that Thu or Fri or Mon 8/20/18 and he promised so. I never heard from Bo Wagner! Based on those events I do not recommend this dealership, Wagner Subaru! read more

Susan wouldn't let me get out my thought fully before she started speaking over me about programs that I clearly stated that I wasn't interested in. She was extremely disrespectful and demeaning and spoke to me like I couldn't possibly know what I was talking about even after I explained to her that I was a salesman back in California before coming back on Active Duty for the Army. When I tried to stop her she continued to speak over me disrespectfully. When I finally explained what I was looking do with my car buying experience, she very rudely told me, "we don't do that here" and proceeded to hang up on me.
