I found this auto group online, as I was shopping for a 2010 Nissan Maxima online, having subscribed to Auto Trader and Cargurus.com I was impressed at how promplty the dealership had replied to my inquiry via their site, set the appointment AND walked us to the salesman for a WARM handoff. This dealership truly gets it and treats each GUEST like family, the way we all want to be treated, especially when making such a large investment. Our salesman was Jason Anderson and he is by far the most knowledgeable, trust worthy, down to earth, and friendly salesperson that we worked with during the time we shopped for a vehicle. Not only did he carry a professional demeanor, he made the whole process easy, which is what we really wanted. He was straight forward, he was able to answer every question we asked (and was honest when he couldn't and his Manager, Tom, supported him and assisted with the sale), and he genuinely wanted to help us get in the right vehicle with the right payment and stressed that several times. As a whole, I truly believe this dealer prides themselves on doing the RIGHT THING for their clients. They really train their people and it makes a big difference, not to mention that we were HIGHLY IMPRESSED by the MOTOR TREND certification this dealer had - very nice touch!! When Jason greated us, he immediately provided a handout about the benefits of Motor Trend and it took the pressure off of concerns about the condition of the car (ex. were we going to have issues down the line with this used car purchase, etc.) and it showed us how much more important it was for this dealer to take the extra step to get this certification and offer this additional incentive for clients. I have to admit, I am not an easy shopper to work with. I have a finance background, I want the best deal, and I had done all the research going into the buying process. However, Jason always smiled and made the whole process simple from beginning to end, even the negotiation (which I'll be honest, there is not much to negotiate as this dealership's pricing is very fair, providing the best pricing from around the region) and the financing. He secured everything we wanted, including the terms and conditions of the loan that had been offered by previous dealers/banks, which included more work for their team. Moreover, I must mention that Jason & Tom saved the sale, as we weren't overly impressed by the vehicle we initially drove up from Cincinnati (1hr away) to see. Tom knew the inventory and suggested that Jason put in a call to a neighboring lot (Jeff Schmidt has 8 lots in the Dayton area) to inquire about a different 2010 Nissan Maxima they had. It was a color we hadn't seen or considered and once Jason pulled up with it, we fell in love! I appreciate that more than he knows....again, they truly DO want to make sure they are selling the RIGHT VEHICLE. In fact, they will even let you exchange your purchase within 3 days if you are in the wrong car and they will match a price if you find something lower on the exact model/options, etc. NO ONE ELSE DOES THIS!!! You must give them a chance. So.....once we decided to move forward with buying the vehicle, we worked with Jax in financing and she is a gem, making the loan documentation really simple and explaining everything in detail. There were a couple outstanding items and I can say that Jason and Tom followed up on everything they said they would do. I took our used 2010 Nissan Maxima off the lot, after hours (we came after work) on June 3rd and we came back to do the paperwork on June 4th. Everything was very efficient and an appointment was set with the service department for an IOU (2nd key fob to be cut and programmed) for June 12th. Even that experience impressed me. Tom, the Manager of Used Sales, came by to say hello. Monte in the Service Department was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help me with with my new purchase. The service lounge was great (free wifi and soda/water with friendly and attentive staff). To top it off, George in New Sales took the time to go through all the questions I had from the Owners Manual (things I didn't think to ask Jason because we were in such a hurry to get a new car and so impressed and excited about everything) while I waited for the key to be cut. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience. Jeff Schmidt gets it and I will continie to refer others and make the drive up from Cincinnati when I need service. I know I can count on them and would recommend you give them a shot as well. Be sure to ask about Motor Trend!

I am extremely unsatisfied with the recent service that I received. I will not be returning. Where is Mario, George, Shawn, and Jacob when you need them! Just horrible service! The old crew, especially Jacob in the service department, actually cared about doing the job correctly, the first time! They knew what it took to build that relationship with customers to keep them coming back!

I'm saying that the starting cost with rebates before we get to bank costs should be 27,924. No where is that reflected! You only reference the 1750 discount not the 2576 as well. Never again!!!!!! Buyer beware!!! 1 week after closing the deal on my vehicle. My Bluelink is still not working and Bluelink just keeps saying that the modem is not functioning properly. It's called "negative review bias" (look it up.). Negative customer experiences are TEN times more apt to "dis" a business. I know. I OWN a business myself! That's why it's SO easy to see a business drop from a 5-star rating to the basement level. Anyway, our Schmitt Mazda salesman, AUSTIN BEAVER, was phenomenal and made every effort to secure the best "deal" for our now "new to us" pre-owned Mazda CX5. While it is truly a "seller's market" at this time for this particular vehicle (high demand!), Austin did all he could to get us rolling -fairly- in this fantastic car. They even took our "crippled" trade-in at a very reasonable value! Another feather in the cap for a highly rated brand! Want a Mazda? Jeff Schmitt is THE place to start. Then, shop around if you'd like. You'll be back. WE did! Oh, then when after you drive off in your shiny new-or-used car, change the statistics and write them a GOOD review. Happy driving!

We wanted to buy a $30k car and by the time they were finished it was a $40k car! Oh the finance woman will say, "we're completely transparent!" About as transparent as Musk. During the process she'll explain the extras, but they are never called extras, because they've already added them without your consent! If you start to ask about the cost she quickly says, "It's included!" Right, wink-wink. Just remember that they can only add tax, license, and doc fees. Doc fees in Ohio are $387.

They contacted me immediately and set up an appt for next day for estimate... thought that was great. They gave me an repair appt on Nov 10 about 2 weeks later...also OK. Brought it in and never heard a thing for weeks and when I called the very nice women at the service dept desk told me how much work it takes to do the job and it was taking a bit.... hmmm. Then on Nov 28 I got an updated cost estimate --- they obviously never touched the car from Nov 10 to 28th. I called again to get an update and got another excuse about how hard this was to fix because the doors had to be removed... it was scratch and dent, no parts.... anyway... finally got the call to pick up car on Fri Dec 12, 5 weeks after drop off. Even taking into account Thanksgiving, this was excessive time to keep the vehicle for just scratch and dent repair. They could have had me bring it in later, closer to when they could fix.... so it was my fault that I did not do a good enough review of their history... Beware if you can"t afford to wait many weeks... they did a good job on the repair I do have to say... And to add insult to injury, since it sat un-driven for 5 weeks in the fringed cold, the day after I got it back the battery died.

My A/C went off and my dashboard gauge for temperature quit as well. I called my dealer in Texas (Sewell Cadillac Grapevine) to see if they could help me get a service visit before I left for my 16-hour return trip from Ohio to Texas. Crista at Sewell called Zoe at Jeff Schmitt in Beavercreek and secured a service appointment. It turned out that my thermostat had gone out and impacted both my A/C and my temp gauge. On a Saturday morning...SATURDAY MORNING...Zoe got me in and turned around in under two hours...ON A SATURDAY MORNING! I cannot express how grateful we are to these two impressive young women for helping my wife and I get back home. The difficult and emotional week we had just experienced put us in a mindset of just wanting to return home...and these outstanding women made that happen for us. Saying thank you is not enough...but until we meet again...here is 1MM Thank Yous!!!!!!!!!!!

    This review is a little late, but better late than never…read more My wife and I went into this dealership interested in the 2018 Equinox. The redesign was cool and this place is closest to our home. We checked it out and she put it down as her #1 choice. We met Josh that day and he told us a little bit more about the SUV and showed us the differences in the packages for the ones that they had on the lot. We let him know that this was our first day shopping and we had a whole lot of shopping left to do. He was cool with that and we left to check out other cars. Over the next week we did our shopping and pricing for all the makes and models that we considered and we decided that the Equinox was definitely the one. We shopped a couple other dealerships to see what options they had in stock, the pricing wasn't a huge deal as we get the GM pricing, but we wanted to be sure that the options were right. We came right back to Josh and the team and looked at it again to be sure that we had the right car and told them we'd like to run the numbers. We were at this dealership for a while while they ran our credit and got everything set with finance and everyone along the way was outstanding. I cannot thank Josh enough for his patience and help through the process, also for letting us talk it all out in my future lifted Colorado ZR2... that helped. I'll definitely go back and be a customer and I'll specifically work with Josh when I'm ready, he's got my full recommendation. Also a big thanks to the management team, mostly for not kicking us out as my wife negotiated y'all to the floor for an hour and a half. I recommend anyone looking for a Chevy go in knowing what you want to look at and work with Josh.
