I had a radiator hose replaced just recently & did a professional install. There work is top notch. Very professional people. It's a rarity to run across a good auto repair shop. What sets them apart is the curiosity shuttle to & from shop . I had other work done there all good every time. This a part they replaced recently pictured! Murphys auto care delivers every time.

The service here is 100% on-point. I think you pay for some of that in the final bill, but if "I…read morewant my car taken care of with transparency, friendliness, and minimal impact on my life" is how you approach car care, I honestly have never had a more customer-first mechanic experience in my life. I'm glad I popped in here when my battery light came on, and I'll definitely come back. PROS: -Everybody is so freakin' friendly here. You'll primarily interact with the two front desk employees who do what they say they're going to do at a level that's pretty impressive. ("We'll email you a full workup of your car, and if you don't call us within the half hour, we'll call you to make sure you've received it.") -They offer courtesy rides to/from where you need to be. If you need to drop off your car mid-day, they can take you back to work. If you need to pick it up mid-day, they can come get you from work to pick up your car at the mechanic. When I had to take my car here unexpectedly and planned to have to take an Uber, they were happy to get me home at no cost to me. -Full price transparency. Even when working up the work order just to take a look at what was wrong with my battery, the service manager, Eric, flipped his computer screen around and talked me through what every charge was and why it was there before I agreed to the look. After they knew what was wrong, it was the exact same process, with a full itemized plan (taxes and all fees included!) with the out-the-door price to know what you're getting yourself into. -They also run a full "complete car health" check on your car. I'm unsure if you can opt out of this, but it was really helpful, honestly. You receive a full online list of Green, Yellow, and Red items of concern about your vehicle along with pictures and explanations of everything to do a bit of reading yourself. This is SO nice for reading at your leisure instead of feeling bad taking up someone's time while they have a line out the door of customers waiting on them. -Zero pushiness on any service. When I opted out of one of the "Red" services, Eric was super friendly, explained what the potential risks would be, and let me know what a good "you really gotta get this done for your safety" timeline would be. -Car was returned just the way I gave it to them. No extra dirt or anything else. -They were able to get my car done within the day with no problem - even when I came back, without an appointment (see below), a second time! -I never waited in line. With two front desk staff members, there was never a time where I was on hold on the phone or waiting in the office. There was always someone to help me - and fast! -They have an after-hours lockbox for dropping off your keys AND picking them up. I feel so much more secure with my key locked up instead of the usual mechanic placements somewhere on the car. CONS: -After returning my car to me with the issue "fixed", the battery light was back on in my car within a day. Super weird. However, I brought it back in (rides, again, were offered to me!), and they redid the work at zero cost to me. My guess would be one of the parts was DOA when they put it in, and their short test drives didn't trigger the same wear on it as driving home did. -The work was a bit more expensive than my mechanic friends said it "would" have been at other places. Not price gouging or anything ridiculous, but just be aware that it might be a bit more expensive to fund all of those fantastic customer-first experiences you get to enjoy.

WARNING!!!! Do NOT USE THIS MAN!!!!…read more Lorenz came to my home and told me I had a simple oil leak and towed my car to the "shop" on a Friday. We had some bad weather and he stated that they needed until Wednesday to complete the job. I paid him $40 for diagnostics and then $150 for the tow. Then sent $550 for parts. I also got a rental for 5 days through budget rent a car which cost me 500$ Wednesday came and it wasn't done. He said it would be done Thursday. I got the rental another day. Another $68 and $15 extension fee. Friday came and he said it's still not done. So after a week I have paid over 1k and it's not done. He promised it would be done the following Tuesday by 8pm. I returned rental that morning. At 9pm when he didn't show up he texted that he was done but there was still an oil leak. WHAT!!!!! He said he had parts and needed until Monday. Monday morning I asked him if it was going to be completed as promised and he said no. He needed til Wednesday. So 13 days he has had my car and it's in the same condition. I just had enough and sent a tow truck to their shop to get my car. When tow truck arrived it was at someone's house. They told me it was a mechanic shop. It's a random house on a sketchy neighborhood and my car sitting in front untouched with snow covering it still. He misled me as he had a shop. He just paid google bc he was the first to pop up. I trusted him and he lied several times. I am now at a mechanic shop hats legit and have had to get ANOTHER rental car for the week. This guy has lied and set me back almost 1500 and my car is in the same condition as it was 13 days ago. Do not trust him

They could have at least called to let me know there was a delay so I could reschedule. I've come to this location several times and aside from slightly high prices I haven't had any issues, but I'm not sure I will return or recommend this place. They did call me a few days after filling out a survey to try and remedy the situation, so I appreciate the effort after the fact. I totally understand that things get busy, just would have appreciated a heads up so my schedule wasn't thrown off.

I arrived for my appointment at 11 and explained to them that I was hearing sounds from my rear brakes. They drove my SUV, then pulled it into the bay. As I watched the technician, I saw that he was doing everything but inspecting my brakes. None of the wheels were removed. After about an hour, I explained to the attendant that I have another appointment at 12:45. The attendant explained that he was writing up my estimate and that there were so many issues that it would surpass $7k. I told him, "What do you think the value of my 2010 Ford Escape is?" He replied, " I'm not a car salesman. At this point, after writing up my estimate, he said that I owe $10 and some change for the diagnostic. I then said, I asked for a FREE brake inspection, not for a diagnostic of my SUV, and I'm not paying you anything. At this point, he slid my keys over the counter to me with attitude, as if I was complaining about $10. I told him that I'm complaining about the service that I didn't ask for. I highly recommend that anyone not visit this business. They're trained to see who falls for this and to make as much money as they can.

If I get any sense that something's not…read morequite right, I will ask question after question, request old parts be returned to me, and have even insisted on being shown exactly what they say is in need of repair. Why? Because I have had some awful experiences and learned the hard way. Never having needed a mechanic in Dayton until now, I followed the advice of my friend who takes his car to Beavercreek, and whose parents do as well. I am SO GLAD I did! Craig, the owner, is very laid back. He checked over my vehicle and called me to let me know what was wrong, then called me a second time because he'd found something else that could be a problem later on. At no time did he seem to be trying to sell me anything - in fact, when I told him I could wait on a couple things I'd originally asked for, he simply took those off the sheet. When I came to pick up my vehicle, I was delighted to find that no one had readjusted my seat or pedals (I'm short and am forever having to set everything back the way I like it!). It was perfectly clean inside, not a smudge of grease or dirt anywhere. No fingerprints on the hood or the rest of the body. Nothing! They have definitely earned another customer for life - and I'm one to tell friends about good mechanics, too.
