I have used Mr Vo Auto Clinic for 5 years. He appeared to be competent & honest until May of 2025…read morewhen he replaced the left & right axel shafts on my 2008 Toyota Yaris. The charge for this repair/replacement was $836. When I returned home & pulled out my file for the car I came across a receipt from Sept of 2023 when Mr Vo has done the exact same repair in the car. I had put 5,837 miles on the car since the 1st repair. This axel shaft replacement should last for 80,000 to 100,000 miles. I immediately put a stop payment on my check & called Mr Vo. He told me he had "looked into this" & the manufacturer said the warranty was only good for 24 months. I pointed out that the initial repair took place 1 1/2 years ago (20 months to be exact). Clearly the truth is not his #1 priority. I would give no "stars" if that option was offered. Patronize this shop at your own risk.

It would be always best to come in with to talk to them about your car issues so that any service person would know that you are serious about fixing your car. I am sure they get tons of phones. Best to check there schedule to see if they can fit you in on the day of service. They are often busy and so that a good thing and I don't believe they are working on weekends. I had an extremely humiliating and unprofessional experience at King Transmission Company…read more The customer directly before me was allowed to pay by card. When it was my turn, I explained that my phone was about to die and asked to pay using tap-to-pay. Instead of simply explaining whether they accepted that form of payment, the older man behind the counter kept saying that he didn't understand what I was asking. I explained again that I was only trying to pay for my service and leave. I then asked why the customer before me was allowed to pay by card, but I wasn't being given that same option. Rather than answering my question or giving me a clear explanation, he raised his voice, talked over me, and demanded, "Your going to listen to what I have to say?" I am a grown woman and a paying customer not a child. No man behind a register should speak to a woman in that condescending manner, especially in front of her three children. I currently have the flu and was wearing a hoodie because I wasn't feeling well. I genuinely felt stereotyped based on my appearance. I was not asking for anything free or being difficult I was trying to PAY them. I eventually paid cash and asked for my invoice and key. The situation became even more inappropriate when he told me that if he had a heart attack, he was going to sue me. Even after receiving my payment, he continued behaving aggressively and would not immediately provide my invoice or return my key. At that point, I called the police because I wanted my property and documentation so I could leave safely with my children. I left feeling stereotyped, humiliated, and embarrassed in front of my children. This is not how any paying customer should be treated. The entire situation could have been avoided with a clear explanation and basic professionalism.

Whilst the service was quick, I wish they hadn't acted as though my concerns were ridiculous. I also was surprised that they expected me to come that same day to pick it back up. They called at 2-something to let me know it was ready and they close at 5, and when I asked if I should pick up it up the following morning he said he had cars coming and would rather I come that day. When I asked if the following day before 9 would work they said ok, but I was able to finagle it to come the same day after all. Just thought it was weird that they assumed someone would be able to pick up the same day.
