While the name has changed because it used to be Loren to now Napleton the sales staff at least remains very nice even though they've all changed. The service for a Hyundai has also changed drastically. They no longer wash or clean your car before they return it. There's no covers or protections on the inside around the steering wheel or even of the seat when the Porter drives your car around. The service team barely picks up the phone even during regular working hours. And most recently depending on who I spoke to at the service department I had different answers for the same question around duration of a repair and service that I was bringing the car in for. What keeps me coming back at my car has some free service that comes with it and the fact that I really do like Hyundai I think Small improvements could definitely make this place really shine, especially since it's located in Glenview. Yes I'm sure there are people who can afford more expensive cars and still choose to buy a Hyundai. But why compromise service and quality and the client or customer experience simply because the car price point is a little bit lower. The waiting area here is also decent so no complaints there at all.

One by one and week by week the services were slowly eliminated with a variety of excuses, including insufficient staff and unavailable cars and all sorts of other excuses. Had a flat tire at one point in time and they were told that I should schedule an appointment in four days time. Not sure exactly what I was supposed to do for four days with a completely flat tire. Had to escalate it for obvious reasons. It was no more than a 30 minute tire change yet. It was quite an ordeal to arrange. Would not use any of their dealerships based on the way I was treated.

I asked to be transferred to services, I told the guy in the service department 5 times that I'd like my speed limiter removed. He's so uninformed and unintelligent that he kept asking me if I wanted my speedometer removed. It's amazing this guy even knows how to breathe. I clarified once again that I need the speed limiter removed. He said him along with his manager said they can't do it. That makes zero sense considering that the dealer is the one who ADDS it through the ECU and all they have to do is plug in their computer component to remove it the same way they added it. Holy wow these people are dumb. Guys, stay far away from this place. If you bring your vehicle here for anything I wouldn't be surprised if this absolute monkey just starts ripping out random pieces of your dashboard because he's probably in his 40s or 50s and makes a sub par wage working behind the counter of a dealership hahaha. Room temperature IQ everywhere.

Our sales guy, Herb, was all folksy and started out by giving us a quote for a car that was $10,000 higher than the one we were looking at. Based on our reaction, he brought another quote at full MSRP for the car we wanted. Then he started insulting our trade in. I never have understood the tactic of insulting your customer. He told us that the car was shot, the service manager didn't even want it, and they would give us $300 under the price Carmax had quoted us. Or we could sell it to Carmax, and he would pick us up. I brought up the almost $300 in sales tax we would lose, and he waved it off as not a big deal. Hmm, $300 was a big deal when they couldn't even deduct a penny from the list price or when they were deducting it from the trade in value. Then he sent over his sales manager, who started in on who knows what. We asked for our keys and left to go back to another dealership where we bought a car. This was actually the second time because we came back thinking we'd give them a second chance as the first time was Memorial Day, and they were busy. We thought that maybe the intern or new sales person had sat us down at a computer and told us to order the car we wanted was an anomaly. I believe in second chances, but in this case I would recommend that you don't even give them a first chance. There are a lot of other Hyundai dealerships.

I brought my BMW to Fields BMW Northfield on January 15, 2026 for a recall. The car was running…read moreperfectly fine -- no noises, no issues. During the recall, they broke a VANOS bolt and had to remove the oil pan. While the engine was open, I agreed to replace the eccentric shaft sensor and paid ~$700. From there, the experience went downhill. They claimed my axle threads were damaged and quoted me $1,800 -- despite zero prior symptoms. After I pushed back and contacted BMW NA, they suddenly "fixed" it at no cost. Then I was told the car was ready. Within minutes of picking it up -- still on dealership property -- the engine developed a loud, aggressive rattle. I immediately returned it. What followed was a constantly shifting explanation: "metal in the oil" "just scratches" "failed bearing" "previously disassembled engine" "not our fault." At multiple points, they leaned on "prior mechanical condition" and ownership history, even though the car ran fine before their work and failed immediately after. That timing speaks for itself. It also took far too long for management to get involved. Early communication felt dismissive, and I had to push repeatedly just to get clear answers. The story kept changing depending on who I spoke to. At one point, I was told I needed to pay for a full engine replacement. After weeks of escalation and involving BMW NA, they shifted course. Final outcome: * Used engine (~93k miles) * 90-day warranty (engine only) * $1,100 out of pocket Yes, the car now runs fine. But that doesn't excuse how this was handled. This felt less like a transparent diagnosis and more like an effort to avoid responsibility until pushed. And as a final detail -- I picked up the car with the gas tank basically on reserve (~11 miles left). I'm not expecting a full tank, but after everything, that level of care says a lot. Bottom line: the car is fixed, but the process was inconsistent, reactive, and difficult to trust. If you service your car here, document everything and be prepared to advocate for yourself.

I found Auto Service with Steve online, and their website specifically lists "Jaguar F-Type" as one of the models they service. I called, spoke directly with Steve, explained exactly what I needed (oil change, brake fluid check, maintenance reminder reset, etc.), and he confirmed they could handle it with no problem. He even said he had the tools to reset the maintenance reminder. We scheduled for Friday. I called off work to make this appointment and drove over early. When I arrived, Steve looked confused and said he couldn't work on my car because it was "too low." My car is completely stock, no modifications, no lowered suspension. He suddenly changed his story. So not only did I waste my time and lose a day of work, but his website explicitly claims they service F-Types. If a shop is going to advertise that they handle specific models, they should be prepared to do so or at least be upfront about limitations before confirming an appointment. Extremely disappointed. Misleading advertising and poor communication. I wouldn't trust this place for anything Jaguar-related.
