My 2015 Acura was in an accident and the entire drivers side of this beautiful car was heavily damaged. I only had 10K miles on it and it was in excellent shape. I was heart sick that my pristine car was damaged. Astro did the body work on it and I just got it back this past Friday. And they did a fantastic job! It looks brand new!! They also went out of their way to buff out a few bumper dings. The car was waxed and cleaned to a beautiful shine! Honestly, I feel like I am in a brand new car!! Be careful of this shop. Don't believe the 5 star reviews they cut corners. I paid $1500 for body work and front bumper repair because of my recent car accident and noticed my bumper wasn't aligned right and my windshield cleaning container was placed sideways in my car not put together. And the manager Rob didn't have want to correct the mistakes. read more

My car was in a hit and run during the summer of this year 2020, my insurance requested this place for my car to be fixed. The owner and his son Robert are very nice people they care about their customers, this is such a reasonable auto service. I came back here with an issue with my car they took care of it within hours, I just also realized I needed nee breaks and pads I took it too this other place because it was the only place that was open since my car sounded awful and I couldn't drive it. That place wanted too much money definitely could not afford so I ended up contacting Robert he right away let me know what I was expecting as in price and parts and I could afford it! No luck with these sad guys unfortunately . About 2 years ago went there to address 3 very specific issues (oil leak , check engine light , water in stop light ) . Out of that nothing was corrected , yet they managed to charge me over $1500 . Kept my car for over a week so I had to Uber to work . The owner when confronted got defiant . Did they try ? Maybe . But there is no trying that counts here . It is either done or not . And BTW , I learnt it was fixable after finding a guy who knows his craft . Robert did an amazing job fixing my rear bumper. I was in an accident a month ago and the exterior damage was minimal but the interior damage was extensive. I cannot express enough how wonderful this place is. Robert is absolutely amazing. We took in our Ford Fusion recently to have it repaired. The whole front part of our car was destroyed. We just got it back today and you would never know we were in an accident. He made the process so smooth. Something the insurance company did not. It felt wonderful to have someone on your side during such a stressful time. We had never been in an accident and the insurance company gave us quite a bit of headaches, but Robert stood by us and helped us tremendously! Once I picked my car, they showed me pictures of the car damage and what they had fixed as well. They also did a walk thru of my car to make sure I was ok with their work. Extremely reasonable and honest. I hit a car and expected the bill to be about $1200-2000, but the owner said that Astro did it for only $700. So I brought my husband's car in because the exhaust pipe had rusted thru. Rather than try to convince me to replace the muffler, they patched it for really cheap. Unfortunately, the other exhaust pipe gave out and this time it couldn't be salvaged, but rather than try to replace the muffler themselves, they suggested taking it to a trusted muffler shop in the neighborhood because it would be cheaper than if they did it. How is that for customer service?! I find that garages usually try to take advantage of people who don't know cars or are condescending, but they took the time to explain things in detail to me. I must say I was very impressed with the quality of work they did on the car. I've had cars fixed before from different body shops and they've never looked like this. This car looks brand new and rides new. When I've called with questions they've answered them fully. This is by far one of the best experiences I've had with any shop. I had frame work done on a car I have purchased after a accident .when I came in to get a estimate I spoked with the owner and he gave me a price of 1000~1300 I was excited because other shops told me 1500. After 5 weeks of waiting I come to pick up my car and the owner I spoke with is out of town. And his son tells me its 1900$ plus all the parts I gave them ti put on my car were dented and scratched After fighting for abour a hour he droped the price 100$ ...the extra demage they made was much more........WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE AGAIN read more

Found this place on yelp here. The reviews were spot on. Brought my car in for the brakes to be fixed....they did the inspection, called me to tell me how much it would be....they charged me an extremely reasonable price for the work.....the work was completed same day and only took a few hours. I think Astro's is family owned...the gentleman who helped me was very nice and explained everything to me upfront. I was really expecting to receive a huge bill and I was so shocked at how reasonable the cost was. I can't stress that enough....good work, fair prices. This is my new mechanic shop. read more

I needed my cracked passenger side window and a roof moulding strip replaced on my 2014 Honda CR-V. I took my car there last Saturday morning for an estimate on the work. I thought I might need the whole mirror unit replaced but John said it just needed the glass replaced. He gave me an estimate and I said to go ahead and order the parts. He called me the following Tuesday to say he had all the parts. I said I would bring it in on Friday. When I got there he took the mirror out of the bubble wrap and we found it to be chipped and could not use it. I had told John I was going out of town the next day. He said his supplier for the mirror was up in Milwaukee and doubted he could the part that day. I said to go ahead and put the moulding on and I would come back during the week for the mirror. Around 11 AM John called and said he let his supplier know about the cracked mirror and they were sending another one that he hoped to have by 3 or 4 that afternoon. He asked me if I wanted to get the car and come back next week for the mirror or wait until later in the day hope the mirror got there for them to get the mirror and install it. I said I would be optimistic and wait. . He called around 3:50 to let me know my car was done, he got the mirror installed and we were good to go. This is great customer service and I was also very pleased with the reasonable price for the whole job. Astro is an awesome local business that the neighborhood should support.
