I have been a customer here for about 30 years with many cars. Each car looks brand new after they work on it. Ted and now his son Robert truly have the best service in the city. When you need their help, you have obviously had a bad experience. They always make the best of a bad experience. Perfect work a a reasonable price. Just an amazing shop. read more

Needed an honest mechanic and auto body shop and Astro came through again! Saved me lots of money in the end and love their honest approach! Thank you! read more

Great service. Needed a rear wheel molding strip replaced. Robert knew exactly what I needed and inspected the other wheel molding as well and recommended replacing both as the other was also showing signs of deterioration. He ordered the parts, called me that afternoon and had me bring my auto in the next morning. The molding was replaced in 15 minutes. The price was very reasonable costing less than the parts that I looked up on line. I highly recommend them for even the smallest repair job. read more

Be careful of this shop. Don't believe the 5 star reviews they cut corners. I paid $1500 for body work and front bumper repair because of my recent car accident and noticed my bumper wasn't aligned right and my windshield cleaning container was placed sideways in my car not put together. And the manager Rob didn't have want to correct the mistakes. read more

I appreciate the honesty from the owner Robert, the 'go above and beyond' work ethic, the consistent and open communication, the cleanliness of the job, how quickly the repairs were completed, and of course, the great job they did on the repairs. Thank you. I would highly recommend this body shop for repairs. read more

My car was in a hit and run during the summer of this year 2020, my insurance requested this place for my car to be fixed. The owner and his son Robert are very nice people they care about their customers, this is such a reasonable auto service. I came back here with an issue with my car they took care of it within hours, I just also realized I needed nee breaks and pads I took it too this other place because it was the only place that was open since my car sounded awful and I couldn't drive it. That place wanted too much money definitely could not afford so I ended up contacting Robert he right away let me know what I was expecting as in price and parts and I could afford it! This is going to be my go to place and I have let my family and friends know about this place also. read more

No luck with these sad guys unfortunately . About 2 years ago went there to address 3 very specific issues (oil leak , check engine light , water in stop light ) . Out of that nothing was corrected , yet they managed to charge me over $1500 . Kept my car for over a week so I had to Uber to work . The owner when confronted got defiant . Did they try ? Maybe . But there is no trying that counts here . It is either done or not . And BTW , I learnt it was fixable after finding a guy who knows his craft . At least make sure you do not sign a blank work order .... 9 read more

Robert did an amazing job fixing my rear bumper. I was in an accident a month ago and the exterior damage was minimal but the interior damage was extensive. He did a great job fixing it and I had my car back within a week as promised. I received regular updates via email & felt informed throughout the process. 10/10 would recommend! read more

Talk about going the extra mile, definitely my to-go body shop, it is so hard to find honest people now days but Robert and his Dad are truly the BEST!! Highly recommend this shop. Honest people, Clean shop, quality work, quick and very reasonable pricing. Outstanding work all together. They truly do the best work in any type of car. Robert explains every detail. Car came out like a brand new vehicle. Highly recommend! read more

I take my car here all the time. They are reasonable with prices and help you the best they can. The owner will let you know exactly what you need done and if it's worth it. Best auto place. read more

I cannot express enough how wonderful this place is. Robert is absolutely amazing. We took in our Ford Fusion recently to have it repaired. The whole front part of our car was destroyed. We just got it back today and you would never know we were in an accident. He made the process so smooth. Something the insurance company did not. It felt wonderful to have someone on your side during such a stressful time. We had never been in an accident and the insurance company gave us quite a bit of headaches, but Robert stood by us and helped us tremendously! He explained every single thing and answered all my questions. The way Robert gives you every little detail of the work done to your car is such a wonderful thing. I knew exactly what was going on and what I was getting. Robert thank you for your amazing customer service. I will recommend you to all our friends if they ever need a repair job. read more

My to-go spot when I need some body work to my vehicle ! For the quality work, timing, and customer service !

Iv'e been going to this body shop for 3 years. From a major accident repair to minor repairs the service has been, and continues to be exceptional. Robert Lach is very honest, understanding, and kind, which gained my loyalty. The prices are fair, and the workmanship is great. If you are a car enthusiast that loves your car, and want to treat it right then this is the place! Sincerely, William Benavides read more

I don't often take time to get on Yelp to do reviews, but I just had to go the extra mile for Astro Auto Service! My 2015 Acura was in an accident and the entire drivers side of this beautiful car was heavily damaged. I only had 10K miles on it and it was in excellent shape. I was heart sick that my pristine car was damaged. Astro did the body work on it and I just got it back this past Friday. And they did a fantastic job! It looks brand new!! They also went out of their way to buff out a few bumper dings. The car was waxed and cleaned to a beautiful shine! Honestly, I feel like I am in a brand new car!! They guys are great at what they do and also have lots of integrity! I can't recommend them enough!!! read more

Highly recommended! My car, unfortunately, was hit while parked and I had never had to have work done before on a vehicle, we looked for a place close to home that was reliable and Astro came up with great reviews and it was extremely close. They were easy to work with and the car came back looking brand new. It was as though it never happened. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and everything done to the car was explained to us thoroughly. If you ever need work done I would highly encourage you to go to Astro ! read more

I have been taking my vehicles to Astro for over 30 years. I have never been treated badly or unsatisfied with the work performed. Looking to the future I can safely say that my entire family and I will continue to use Astro for all our automotive needs. They are more than reasonable with the prices and will never lie to you or try to sell you something you don't need, simply the BEST!!!!! read more

After my accident, I didn't have a clue what body shop I should use. I decided on Astro after reading their reviews on Yelp. This turned out to be a wonderful decision. Robert was incredibly helpful, and the work that was done is top notch. A good honest company that totally deserves five stars. read more

Update: I just posted a great review and thought oh S*it, maybe I spoke too soon. But Astro just finished putting a new replacement passenger side mirror on my VW, and PAINTED it to match, and did a safety inspection, all for the un-GODLY amount of $60.00. Need I say more ???? Go Ted !! read more

Extremely reasonable and honest. I hit a car and expected the bill to be about $1200-2000, but the owner said that Astro did it for only $700. So I brought my husband's car in because the exhaust pipe had rusted thru. Rather than try to convince me to replace the muffler, they patched it for really cheap. Unfortunately, the other exhaust pipe gave out and this time it couldn't be salvaged, but rather than try to replace the muffler themselves, they suggested taking it to a trusted muffler shop in the neighborhood because it would be cheaper than if they did it. How is that for customer service?! I find that garages usually try to take advantage of people who don't know cars or are condescending, but they took the time to explain things in detail to me. They now have a customer for life! read more

Fantastic! What a great job they did repairing my car after a minor crash. Turned out better than expected. I felt they were honest with me and knew what they were doing. I would go back in a heartbeat. You don't find service this good too often in the big city. read more

So glad this Autobody shop is near home. Great customer service!! They kept me up to date of the status of my car. Once I picked my car, they showed me pictures of the car damage and what they had fixed as well. They also did a walk thru of my car to make sure I was ok with their work. My car looks excellent!!! read more

I must say I was very impressed with the quality of work they did on the car. I've had cars fixed before from different body shops and they've never looked like this. This car looks brand new and rides new. When I've called with questions they've answered them fully. This is by far one of the best experiences I've had with any shop. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. read more

I had frame work done on a car I have purchased after a accident .when I came in to get a estimate I spoked with the owner and he gave me a price of 1000~1300 I was excited because other shops told me 1500. After 5 weeks of waiting I come to pick up my car and the owner I spoke with is out of town. And his son tells me its 1900$ plus all the parts I gave them ti put on my car were dented and scratched After fighting for abour a hour he droped the price 100$ ...the extra demage they made was much more........WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE AGAIN read more

I love this auto shop! Great service. Family owned and operated. My parents have been coming here for about 20 years. They never let us down. I highly recommend Astro. Very professional. I trust them with my car. read more

Found this place on yelp here. The reviews were spot on. Brought my car in for the brakes to be fixed....they did the inspection, called me to tell me how much it would be....they charged me an extremely reasonable price for the work.....the work was completed same day and only took a few hours. I think Astro's is family owned...the gentleman who helped me was very nice and explained everything to me upfront. I was really expecting to receive a huge bill and I was so shocked at how reasonable the cost was. I can't stress that enough....good work, fair prices. This is my new mechanic shop. read more

The best service I have ever received, everything was handled well and in a timely manner. Highly recommended. read more
