I've had my car, Tiger the tC, for almost a decade and I still love it as much as the day I received "him". Tiger has been with me through all of life's ups and downs, and even scratches and dings. In the early years I tried clay-bar-ing my car myself but after almost a decade it was due for some professional cleaning. Enter QAR. I found them on Groupon and was hesitant because they did not have many YELP reviews. I'm really glad I went and I'm super happy with my results. I purchased my Groupon, made an appointment, and now have a beautiful car. They waxed the exterior and shined the tires. They didn't really touch the headlights but the wax made the car look like-new. They also offer services for buffing/scratch repair. The interior was beautifully done as well. They take all of the little bits of random junk they find and they ended up placing random things into a plastic bag. The gentleman who cleaned my car did a fantastic job. It's so different than going into those $20.00 hand-wash-n-dry places. My car actually felt clean and even the trunk was vacuumed, nicely! Thank you again! Some notes: 1) They are located in a weird business area right off of Lake Ave. You're going to make a left turn on Chestnut and then an immediate left into this tiny business area. Let me start off by saying this... I've never had any car I've ever owned professionally detailed before, NEVER. So this was all new to me. I'll write this review based on a beginner's point of view when it comes to auto detailing. I own a blue slate colored, 2009 Infiniti M35x. Nice ride, but I had not been taking care of it as of late. A few scratches here and there, dirty mud stains on my leather seats, etc. It needed some TLC most definitely. I was searching on Groupon for the best deal and the place that also had the best reviews throughout all the platforms, (Groupon, Yelp, and Google) - this place was it. The groupon was $95. When I got there, I was greeted by the gentlemen that everyone else seemed to rave about, who is definitely a nice guy. He came out to my car, did a full walk around and evaluated the entire car, top to bottom. He told me they could repair the scratches and restore the headlights (which it needed badly) for under $200. So I ended up paying $190 plus the cost of the Groupon. He told me my car would take about 3-4 hours, they had it done in under 3 and it looked great. I had some, "brake dust" (just learned that term from the guy there) that needed to be cleaned from my rims. They weren't able to get it all (which I expected), but it looks much better than it did. The headlights looked brand new and there wasn't a scratch anywhere. The carpet was in pristine condition and the dash interior looked brand new. They did a fine job. The ONLY reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 - I KNOW this is a business and the purpose of Groupon is to help businesses attract customers to further along their business more than it is for customers to save money. (I blame Groupon for that more than I do the businesses.) But I noticed from my own experience and from other reviews, people are solicited for other services to be done when they get there. That's understandable, but it makes people uncomfortable when they only came to use the Groupon. Obviously people who are on Groupon are trying to save money or are on a strict budget, so soliciting for the other services can sometimes be annoying. I basically paid $285 total for services that are usually included in a regular priced auto detail anyway so I didn't really save any money. But the $95 deal is attractive so there you go. Regardless and overall, the customer service is top notch, they do good work and take care of your property. This review is mainly about the quality of work they did, and it is quality. I will probably bring my wife's car back here soon with another Groupon, but I'll decline any additional services offered. read more

I did my 2010 Chevy Malibu detail here today. I neglected my car for last 4 years and when I say dirty it was dirty, I found a groupon coupon and like everyone else yelp this company, went as saw AZ, I found him one the nice, professional a good listener, he suggest me to do the Engine wash, wetsand and touch up on few spots and explain me to send 10 to 15% invest in your worth of the car makes a lot if difference, he promised me for 5 hour detail inside and out with all that extra services and he delivered. My god I did not believe that this is my 4 year old car. engine clean as you can eat off of the top and all the scratches were disappear and they touched up all the chips and nicks with the same paint. So I just spent $4500 to get a lot of work done here. 1) Repair a big tear in my driver's seat - this I give 5 stars - looks great. **Update - Lowering my rating because my heated seat no longer works so 2 stars on the seat. 2) Recondition my aluminum rims - the rims themselves I give a 5 they look great; HOWEVER, I noticed a lug nut missing, and was told it broke when they were removing it. QAR then tells me that I "can buy them easily, they come in a packs of 4 or 5" Anyways after I took delivery it turns out there were TWO lug nuts missing, so now I'm out $16 for the replacements from the dealer. Customer Service - 0 stars 3) Extensive rust repairs including two doors being replaced - The finished product not counting the difficulties I had probably 4 stars, but the details are why I will never bring another car here. --Multiple delays - told several times my car would be ready in a couple days, by the end of the week, and even the final time we shook hands on it being ready for a Friday - picked it up the following Thursday while they were scrambling to finish putting it back together. Very, very annoying - just be honest with people and tell them when it will be done. --So one of my headlights had to be removed for the work and when it was replaced one of the three plastic mounting brackets was broken - they just put it back together like nothing happened - and my headlight shakes while driving - very annoying - when I confronted them about it - they first wanted to attempt some sort of 'fix' - I told them no - the only way to correct the problem is to get a whole new headlight assembly - which he finally was willing to do - but I'm not willing to let him touch my car again - so I'll take a pass and just warn anyone who reads this to pay very close attention to what your car looks like before and after any work done here. --The hood support bar was not returned to its clip and banging around in engine. --Leftover parts were left in the driver's door map pocket --Used paint masking tape left inside the car. --and of course the missing lug nuts mentioned above. I wanted to give this place a better review, but I'm just too frustrated by the overall experience - Nice guys, but poor scheduling and a lack of responsibility for their mistakes equals a poor rating from me. read more

I'm sorry to say I'm very disappointed with this company after reading the other reviews. I went in initially to get a detail for my vehicle, and of course they had some suggestions of other items they could fix. That's all fine, I expect that and I did want to fix a couple of other minor rock hits and such. Problem 1 - The price I was told was wildly different than what I was handed a bill for. It even include services I did not agree to. They then charged me a shop supply fee which I was unaware of. My guess is that they cater to high end clientele who do not care about price. Problem 2 - The touch up paint did not match my car color and it was applied very sloppily. So now my car looks like it has leopard spots. Needless to say I'm not happy with the place and I am now going to have to go to another location to get it fixed correctly. The one positive note, the detail was better than average, but other places have done better jobs for a better price. read more

QAR got my sorry looking 1998 Honda Accord looking close to brand new again! They're magicians! You need to go on their website to view "before" and "after" pictures....unbelievable!! The dirt on my cloth seats from children's shoes, food spills, and dog transport was cleaned without a trace. The floors, floor mats, and trunk were all cleaned to brand new! My girlfriend took her car here after purchasing the Groupon for the complete detail. Az recommended a few services that he thought might benefit the car on top of the detailing after inspecting the car. We agreed that the wet-sand and polish would be a good call because there were a few large scratches and other paint issues. It took about 4 hours to get the car back as that was a large job. It looks brand new. It actually looks better than the day she bought it. The interior cleaning was very thorough and the exterior was great too. The swirls in the paint are gone, and the clay bar gave the paint a glass-like finish. The paint hasn't gotten wet at this point, but the wax appears to be high quality with nothing leftover on the trim. Overall, the staff was very friendly, and the work is high quality. I definitely recommend having the wet-sand and polish done if you have any swirls in your paint, or anything like that. read more

I purchased a groupon ( something I typically don't do) and when I brought my mini van in, was told it was going to be significantly more on top of the groupon, and I wasn't happy. In fact I almost didn't leave my car there. But they worked with me to make me happy and went above expected quality service. My car looks amazing and it was ready when promised. I've always washed and detailed my own car, but this fall the trees had really done a number on my Honda Accord. Tree sap everywhere. I tried to clean it off during the fall, but there was too much. Winter had passed, and I finally decided to bite the bullet and take it to a detail shop. I did some research on different businesses in the area and decided on QAR. Aziz was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me a quote for a 3 hour detail (interior and exterior, $90). To get the tree sap off he charged me another $79. I agreed to have the work done. After 3 1/2-4 hours I got a call to come pick it up. The car looked great. There were a few spots where tree sap remained, but one would only notice it with a closer look. Since this was my first experience with any detail shop, I have nothing to compare with QAR. I do feel QAR is slightly pricey, but I did leave the establishment satisfied with the quality of the work that was done. I highly recommend QAR for getting your car detailed. read more

Made an appointment back in March to have my car (Infiniti G37xS) detailed (exterior and interior) on April 18th. Setting the appointment was fine. Told them I had a groupon for it. April 18th rolls around and I get in at 10:30am. The guy at the front desk is pleasant and tells me to fill out a form...after that's done...we check out the car. It is a bit dirty as it rained two days prior to taking my car in. We go around looking at the car and I tell him about certain things that I know need to be touched up and fixed such as some scratches on the car...He tells me that the exterior detail won't get them out and they would need to wet sand it. I point out specific places that I know have to be wetsanded .. He tells me they can fix the slight crack in my windshield...and they can fix the doors upholstery as there was a tiny hole in it due to the belt getting caught between the door....They can also fix some of the rock chips in the front and I point out the specific ones I know of on the hood..I also point out the rust forming on the edges of my trunk and he says he can touch it up...He tells me he'll find the rest of the things when they wash the car..We go back inside and discuss the additional work that needs to be done which is around $400...I agree to it and he says he'll call me when the car is ready for pick up.. I get a call around 3:30 thinking my car is ready for pick up but he calls to tell me that the passenger side also has a small hole and that since he is already working with the materials that he can do it there for the price that the drivers side cost. I agree since I rather just do everything all at once instead of having to take another trip.. I get a call around 4:40 saying my car is finally ready for pickup...I get there and am greeted pleasantly..We go out to the car and I look around..Some of the 'dull' scratches on my driver window weren't even touched! I ask if they can try buffing it out and they try their best to..I'm in a bit of a rush since I told someone I'd meet them at 5:30 so I do a quick check around the car making sure everything looks fine and that I can't see any apparent scratches (I should have honestly looked closer since I was paying for additional work but since I was in a rush I trusted their work and I didn't see anything that jumped out at me that I could see since my car was quite sparkly and almost was mirror-like) Anyway, I pay and leave....In the morning..I take my car out and check for EVERYTHING that I couldn't the day before...There were a couple of places on the car that weren't touched up. One was on the front bumper...not sure if this was caused from my drive on the highway which is totally possible so no biggie. Next was couple of scratches that I thought would have been wetsanded and touched up but weren't I was a bit disappointed in this but I should have caught it the day before but they're quite small that you'd have to be a less than a foot away to really see them. I have my own touchup paint from Infiniti so I touched it up myself. There was another scratch that I thought would have been taken care of but wasn't...Finally, they completely missed touching up the trunk as I can still see the rust..I thought this would have been painted over but apparently not. The windshield crack was fixed..just a tiny hairline that is MUCH deeper that I wouldn't expect them to be able to take out...the side doors are fixed and was fine. As far as the exterior and interior detail..it was fine...they did wash my cloth mats? that had rock salt from the winter but when I got the mats back..one of them still had the white stuff crusted on them...My car looked great besides certain things. As you can see from the photos...it was hard to take photos of what I was trying to capture since my car was literally like a mirror. They did a great job with the buff/wax/polish and whatever else is part of their exterior detailing aside from what I've mentioned in this review. Service was good but attention to detail was a bit off. Not sure if I would hand them the keys over without going over EVERYTHING I knew needed to be touched up. That's my fault for not doing that and I should have done a more detailed overview of the car while I was there but I still expected everything to be taken care of as I was paying additional for services specific to that read more

Totally pristine workmanship, excellent customer service, and added bonus, nice waiting room for those of us who don't have another ride than the one being worked on.... The owner and staff were all super friendly and knowledgable. They are horrible. Pretty much the most expensive car wash I've had in my lifetime. I had a groupon for half off detailing. Check in, the process was easy enough. Gave them my keys. Left my vehicle for 24 hours. Their are still spots and basic vacuuming that wasn't done. I wasn't even expecting a whole nutty gritty clean. Just general shampoo of carpets, vacuum etc. but nope I got water sprinkled on my car on the outside and maybe a lazy vacuum last minute. AZ works on one principle - customer satisfaction...great guy, great organization. While I was there, he gave me a quote for fixing the damage on my front bumper...and even gave me a discount on top...the price was fantastic and was much less than what any other body shop previously quoted to me. They did a stellar job with the body work too...would have cost over $900 elsewhere and complete part replacement...he did it for under $600, and made use of my existing bumper...didn't have to go through insurance so that was a big relief! This place got my Black Toyota Highlander in decent shape but I was disappointed in what they promised as opposed to what I got. They told me they would be able to get most of the bug nicks removed from my front bumper and they definitely did. Some minor scratches were buffed out as well. The problem was they also up sold me a paint filler for a scratch. The black paint looked like magic marker on my car. Looked ridiculous. Finally, one of the guys who I seriously wanted to rip his tongue from his mouth tried to convince me that I should call my insurance company and ask to replace my front windshield here at QAR. He claimed that my rates wouldn't go up and my insurance company "likes to see that I'm taking care of my car". I wouldn't recommend this place unless you have some sort of coupon or discount. read more

We visited QAR today to pick up a Lexus we had dropped a week earlier for detailing. The car looked good, they had cleaned the inside and outside very thoroughly. The reason for the 2-star review is not for the work they did, but instead for their professionalism, or lack thereof. We had paid extra for touching up the car, but they did not touch up the front bumper, as was previously agreed with AZ. We spoke with someone who claimed to be the owner, who told us that it was part of the deal. He finally fixed it with some extra paint he had mixed up for other spots that were missed, but made us feel that we were taking advantage of him, when we were simply asking him to fulfill the services for which we had paid. He was also very rude and condescending during the whole process. When it came time to pay, this man changed his tune and was being overly friendly, but he'd already pissed us off pretty thoroughly. I have dropped of my car for an extensive reconditioning including some paint job. Very nice service and people. As far as painting of my bumpers, side mirrors, deep buff and polish and small leather seat restoration goes, I would give 4.5 stars. But I do have problem with Deep Cleaning of the inside of my car and head light restoration. For the money I spent I was expecting a better job for the cleaning (the small details such as buttons, door handles, some parts of the steering wheel and carpet were not cleaned properly. The Head Lights were restore but look the same as before. I was told that they were hazed from the inside, why did they suggested restoring them? Interior side of windows windshield were not cleaned properly, there was still some smudges of wax on the exterior. For all these I give 2.5 stars. Because of these mixed experiences my overall rating is 3. UPDATE 02/19/15: I've just talked to ZA. He called me personally and invited to come over next week for the complementary detailing and headlight restoration. He ensured me that he will do the best his best to fulfill my expectations.
