This place is the real deal. Had a rear door that needed to be replaced. Sasan actually MADE me money by breaking down each step of the insurance claim process and explaining WHAT goes into the costs of each part. At the end of the day I ended up pocketing 2k from insurance by sourcing a part from a nearby salvage yard for half the cost it would've had insurance done it! read more

Sasan and his team did an AMAZING job repairing my car. The price was decent. They turned the project around on schedule and even stayed open several hours late on a Friday night to enable my pickup of the vehicle. Body shops can be dubious, but I highly recommend National Body Works. read more

As National Body Works, received good reviews on yelp, I decided to take my Honda CRV there for bumper repairs. The process was easy from getting an estimate, dropping off my car, to picking it up today. When I initially went there to get an estimate on a Friday, October 9, I met with Sasan who provided a monitor so I could view the breakdown from parts, which I was given an option of Honda parts or Market to labor costs. I dropped off the car on Monday, October 12, and it was ready for pickup Friday, October 16. When I went to pick it up today the car looked brand new, they vacuumed, cleaned the inside, and there were company calendars/pens, which was appreciated. Body shops come a dime a dozen, but National Body Works is a gem on the Northwest side of Chicago. Fair pricing, great customer service, and you are treated like a VIP. Thank you Sasan:-) read more

When my car got hit, I searched for a body shop. There were many large shops with frills in my area. I searched through all of the shops and read each review. I found National Body Works and read the reviews. I decided to take my car there. I was very happy with Sasan and his team. He really gives you one on one service. His communication with the customer is great. I am very happy with the service I received and this will be my permanent body shop. I highly recommend this shop especially if you are a woman, he is honest. read more

Sasan and his team were incredible. My car was in a hit and run and when I went to go pick it up, my car looked as if it was new. I'm so happy I was able to trust them with this job as I had reviewed many body shops but appreciated that they show the before and after and even the YouTube videos of the step by step process that goes into the repair. 200% recommend to anyone that needs to have work done on their car. They were also able to connect with my insurance and make it easier on my end. read more

I gave Sasan a 5 star. Gave me a discount on my car scratch to be fixed. He even cleaned my car and looked like new. He has a Friday late night that match my time to drop and pick it and that was a plus to him. Very responsive too. Perlita read more

Sasan was great. I needed a passenger side mirror and didn't want to pay dealer prices. He scoped out a used Toyota mirror identical to the one I had that was broken on the used market and put it on with a minimum of fuss. The mirror had a tiny speck on it - I had to look hard to see it. He advised me to get a tiny bottle touchup paint from the dealer to fix that, rather than have him do it, because he'd have to charge labor. I knew I wanted to use him if I ever needed body work, because a year or two ago, he talked me out of some minor body work on my 9 year old car, saying it would have nothing to do with rust prevention. So this guy had turned down a few hundred bucks of work in order to be perfectly honest with me. I was glad I went back when my mirror broke. read more

I had a semi large scratch on the side of my car from my garage and they got it out with ease. Amazing job, quick and effective. I don't trust many places but they really are good at what they do. Very affordable prices too. Highly recommend! read more

Sasan was incredibly helpful, honest, and kind. I was in a bad situation with a vehicle I had crashed and he went above and beyond to help me. I am very grateful to have met such a good person at a very difficult time. read more

Incredibly positive experience replacing the mirror on my Sonata. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and worked hard to save us money by researching and identifying a place where we could get the same part used instead of buying it new. On top of that he made the repair one day earlier than promised. Even left us cookies and calendars in our car after! 10/10 experience. read more

After doing a deep dive into finding a reputable body shop I was recommended to National. I cannot say enough about Sasan, he is very nice, very patient, he did a very thorough job with getting me the work that needed to be done on my car from the insurance company. Very patient very hard-working very clean shop and a very efficient shop. read more

I would highly recommend this shop. They made my 2010 look almost showroom ready! The work was top notch and Sasan went to bat for me with the insurance company after they lowballed my claim. I didn't have to deal with any of the negotiations and received a final settlement for a fair price. There are bigger shops in the area but this shop really stands out for their excellent service and prompt responses to my questions. The best part was they cleaned my car inside (I have 2 kids so it was MESSY) and out and left me some cookie snacks :) I would tell anyone who needs repairs to look no further and to use this shop! read more

I was rear ended while completely stopped at a red light. Sasan and his team sprung into action and "Wha-lah" my beautiful Range Rover looks showroom new again! I cannot emphasize enough about this company, the finished product as well as it's moral compass. I'm forever grateful for the work you do. read more

The owner Sasan spent almost 40 min talking to my 19yr grandson about his car that was deemed a salvage car. Such little damage in the front it was heartbreaking that the mechanical damage cost so much. Only 4-5 miles per hour. The ins told us we had to go to this one place and got no info from them and I wanted a second opinion. The owner was wonderful how he spent much time explaining the process, his advise not many people would extend themselves like that. I would recommend this shop 100%. Knowing it was more to repair and he wasn't going to make a dime it's the honesty and compassion and the time he took to speak to us. Would recommend 100% and thank you. Has exceptional reviews. read more

Recently I had a need for a reputable auto body shop to replace the passenger side mirror on my vehicle. Yelp yielded 20 + shops all promising to do a great job. I decided to run the businesses name through the BBB. The first return was for National Body Works. They had a great rating so I stopped by the shop on Milwaukee Ave. The proprietor, Sasan, immediately was on the case and after a few minutes, I made the decision to let him handle the whole thing. To my absolute relief, the next day I was thanking Sasan for doing a great job of replacing the mirror with the one I provided for him. And perhaps most importantly, the bill was hundreds of dollars less than other body shops in the area. So, when the situation arises, check out National Body Works. I'm sure you'll be pleased with the choice. read more

I came for an assessment based on everyone's recommendation. In a nutshell, the evaluation and explanation was very complex when I was looking for a scratch repair. My car was hit and damaged by a falling portion of a tree during a storm. In researching body shops, I found that Sasan at National Body Works had many great reviews and so I stopped in with my car. He attentively and knowledgeably helped me get my car back on the road while handling much of the work associated with getting my insurance claim processed. He makes it evident that he cares about his customers and the quality of the work on your car. The paint job looks awesome. I would gladly recommend National Body Works to friends or family. read more

I had a chance to bring my car to any body shop in Chicago but I choose NBW due to the great reviews from other customers who brought their car to Sasan. Honestly, I was expecting Sasan to look at my car and slap a quick assessment but I was wrong - he took the time to look at it and gave me options from best to worst case. I appreciated the effort he had to explain the procedure and technique he will use to get the dent out. It was a small job but he treated me like it was a big job. I dropped off the car and less than 24 hours - he called me to keep me up-to-date and what he discovered, the repair will cost a bit more due to what he discovered due to the color of the paint that was needed to make this fix transparent to the rest of the car. He called me an hour ahead of when the car was ready to pickup and walked me thru the finished part of my dent - I was amazed on the work performed. The dent was dent-no-more, vanished and perfect. There were a small scratch away from the repair and I noticed he brushed that up with paint also - He went above and beyond to make the entire car look good. I would without a doubt, recommend National Body Works to anyone. read more

Great experience at National Body Works. Needed to have my bumper replaced. Not an emergency, but definitely an annoyance. Sasan provided a free (and fast) estimate before I decided to move ahead. Once the part was in, the repair work only took a few hours. Great service, fair and reasonable pricing, I would definitely return in the future. read more

My experience here was phenomenal! I was in an accident and had to get repairs done. My insurance company wanted to do the quickest and cheapest fix, but they went back and forth until he made sure that it was all accounted for through the insurance company. The owner kept me updated with the progress. They tool yhoer time and made sure everything was done properly. I will definitely be back and also tell my friends and family where take their cars when they need body work done. Thank you again for the great job! read more

Rear view mirror was sideswiped off my car over thanksgiving weekend. Even though it was a holiday, he was open on Friday. I came by and he told me what to do to save money. Sent me to a parts place with the information I needed. And told me to come back when I had the part. Went exactly as he described and he charged me only the hour rate to put the mirror on. Totally efficient, and saved me money. read more

Sasan is a wonderful person who helped me a lot during the process of my car being in an accident. He was very transparent- not only with the process of repairs and what needed to be done, but also with helping me understand what should be done with insurance and so on. He was extremely patient as it took a while to settle my claim and my car ended up being totaled. Although we did not end up keeping the car to repair it, he was very understanding. Highly recommend this place! read more

This is the best auto body repair shop in the world perhaps. Definitely in Chicago. I took my 2007 Honda in to the have the front bumper cover re-attached properly after it hung up on the curb while being parked. What a mess. I made an appointment. We inspected the car together everything was explained to me perfectly. Parts were ordered on speaker phone from Honda while I listened in. The car was repaired the next day. When I picked it up the bill was $4 less than I had been quoted. That made me smile. Also the car had been washed and was in great shape. If you need body repair, do yourself a favor and call this shop. read more

Sasan is the bomb! I scraped the side of my car and the bumper came off and cracked. He worked with my insurance to get the best replacement parts; he didn't let them cheap out on some non-certified parts. He is great at explaining the details to someone who knows little about cars and he's a just a trustworthy, great guy. They even got my car finished a couple days earlier than I expected. Can't recommend him enough! read more

Amazing work and service at National Body Works. Sasan walked me through the process from insurance to repair. He is a true customer advocate and works with the insurance to repair the car with quality vs aftermarket parts. The car looks brand new and I was even surprised with a chocolate treat and some swag in my cup holder as a thank you! Thank you Sasan for taking such good care of my car! read more

National Body Works is great! I got into a wreck in Chicago while on a weekend vacation (I normally live in Champaign, IL), and Sasan answered the phone and took a look at my car even though it was pretty much at closing time. His calm and friendly demeanor was a big relief after a stressful wreck during rush hour in Irving Park. He worked with the insurance directly and (although it took a little while to get parts in because I had a Volvo), the repaired door and fender looks brand new. Definitely recommend NBW, and will be keeping his card in my glove compartment if the need arises in the future! read more
