Tranquil is a good way to describe it. I had a very relaxing experience. Efficient, reasonably priced, flexible availability. I'll be back.

So I decided to try them today. Very grateful they took me in 30 mins before closing. But wish they had just said no because they rushed through my nails. I spent a month growing my nails and made sure to tell her please clip only tiny amount to shape them. She ends up clipping/ filing them down super short. Never had short nails like this. She clipped the rest of the nails short but left the pinky- check pics. Quality is worse than i do at home.

Call to make an appointment for three people, and they were able to get us in within the hour. Super friendly staff here and the woman who did my nails did an incredible job, was super meticulous, and I was done with a gel Mani within 30 minutes . Prices are super reasonable and they have stamp cards for discounts after five visits. Stamps if you pay cash.

Clean nail salon located in a strip mall amongst other retail and restaurants. I got a mani and pedi, with regular Polish for both. They had a decent selection of polishes although I could tell they were a bit old. Nowadays, it seems far and few in between to have someone get regular Polish over shellac or gel, so I always pay attention to see if a salon upkeeps their polish wall. I ended up with a muted green OPI polish, the mani and pedi were done at the same time, which I don't prefer. I prefer when they do one and then the other so that it's not so crowded with 2 folks hovering around you. Overall the Polish job was decent however, lacked a bit of attention to detail as after leaving the salon, I noticed the top coat was not brushed all the way to the ends of some of my nails. Ultimately, this resulted in the polish only lasting a few days before starting to chip :( I would give them another visit, maybe during the week when they're not as busy.

My friend and I made reservations and were seated timely despite the fact they were pretty busy. After we were done we were rushed out of the seats since they had other waiters but they did say we can hang out in the manicure chairs if we wanted to chat more. The pedicure was standard but the nail esthetician either cleaned under my nail too much or filed it too hard with my pinky toe ending up with a cut right where the nail and meat meet. It's painful upon walking so I've been bandaging it up to prevent the cut from continuously opening.

Made an appointment for 10:20AM on a Tuesday, my service began within 5 minutes of sitting down, and was really appreciated I have been coming here on & off for a few years, today was definitely the best service I've had thus far! Decent price, really great quality and the salon is calm even during rushes. Please request Chloe, she is amazing, and really attentive to thickness/shape/making them all uniform. Asked me multiple times throughout the filing process how they looked, and made sure I knew the color I picked is more of a clear coat (my ideal-preference, I knew this when I picked out the shade but could see it's not everyones cup o' tea) I appreciated this too. I plan on bringing my mother in for our next fill, with Chloe. Delighted to finally-a-found a reliable nail tech! Thank you tranquility, for her services this week!

Updated: providing photos of my nails after coming home, bumpy and not done with care, spots on nails missing paint. Also wanted to add that this is our 5th time coming here. I am very surprised by the experience we received today. We arrived for our 1pm appointment to see the place packed. We end up waiting an extra 30 minutes to be seated, with walk ins being seated as they come in. What was the point of scheduling an appointment if we just had to wait. They then start on our nails and two other appointments came in after us who also had to wait 30 minutes. On 4 Separate occasions they stop on our pedicures to go to the other two groups who have manicures and pedicures. Eventually we are sitting with our hot towels and the lady had to apologize to us when we sat there for 20 minutes and our towels were cold and we were very uncomfortable. She then paints my nails partially and goes back to the other two groups who once again have manicures and pedicures, and 4 other groups have come ins they start to work on two other groups and partially come back to my nails again. Then they have me wait again for another 20 minutes, and 3 more groups come in. Now once did they express how long this experience was going to take. When I have been here for just a pedicure for almost 2 hours and 4 groups have come and gone with manicures and pedicures that they have prioritized. I'm still waiting for them to come finish my nails and it's been 1 hours and 43 minutes.

This place is amazing. I know everyone working here is great with nails, but I absolutely love leana! She is the one I always go to for designs. She does the best job I've ever gotten. She did my soot spirits perfect, and I also got no face and the tree spirits for halloween, and I LOVED THEM. They also have the best price I've ever paid for how amazing they do... I mean amazing prices. The first time I went here. They took a booking of 6 for a Bachelorette party with 5 days notice and they were so nice and we all loved the nails. Especially the bride! They make you feel comfortable and the feel of the place is really welcoming. I've been coming here for a while know and I'm not planning on changing anytime soon.

This clean and friendly salon continues to follow COVID guidelines and social distancing. Jessica and her staff are friendly and attentive! I always look forward to coming here for a shellac mani and pedi. There are so many colors, and often new seasonal colors too! I always leave feeling relaxed and happy with pretty nails. I've been coming to this location for the past 6-7 months. The salon is well decorated, clean and organized. The owner is always there and she's very nice. They have water and tea. I've been satisfied with 70% of the outcome of my nails. I like when Jason does them , he has been the only person to get my nails to look perfect. He's very careful , neat and tidy about his work also very gentle. They have a punch card and after 6 (I think it's 6 not 100%) visits you get 30% off your next visit. Great place! Got a full set and left with my nails somehow being shorter.. this is the shortest my nails have even been with a full set of acrylics. I don't remember who it was that did my nails but I asked for rounded and she made them pointy, when I tried to correct her she proceeded to tell me that she knew what she was doing. After I kept trying to tell her what I wanted since I was paying for her service... she aggressively did the rest of my nails. Turning my hands over more harsh than she should have and she cut my finder because she was filing down too hard and it actually drew blood. I've come here before and didn't get the best service then but I was on a time crunch and this was the closest place for me... maybe it's my mistake I decided to come again. But I will never be coming back. I got home and instantly just took my nails off which was sad to see my money literally being wasted. read more

It is worth the wait and your patience ! Especially for a job that will be done right ! I have been going to Tranquility for over a year now. It's 5-8 min away from work, I usually go during lunch time or after 4:45pm. I have always seen Jessica and her team busy doing the best they can. I mean they are always busy for a reason, right !? Jessica and her team do an EXCELLENT job and they provide AN EXTRAORDINARILY service. I have had pedicures and manicures with SNS, Shellac, Acrylic, Gel; long and short. They are always up to date with what is in. I also get my waxing services done there, the ladies make sure you feel comfortable and relaxed, even though we know The Pain Gets Real. I have been to different salons in the Bellevue area for about 7 years and I highly recommend this nail salon to my friends and others. Remember that it is worth the wait and your patience ! Absolutely amazing working. I have EDS and my skin tears super easy. For once I didn't have a problem. The nails are perfect and the nail art is DIVINE! I had never heard of this spa but found it on yelp. The positive reviews are completely reflective of the experience I had. I went after COVID when things began reopening. They messaged back about an appointment in about 10 minutes and were incredibly accommodating. Upon arrival I was immediately greeted and invited to choose my color then they brought me to the seat for the pedicure which was ready. One person in my group was running late which they graciously accommodated. Each employee was wearing masks as were customers. They followed social distancing protocols leaving at least 1 chair between people at all times. The employees were very thoughtful in offering us something to drink, asking how we were doing, and making sure we were comfortable (ex, temp of water and massages etc). The deluxe pedicure was amazing and worth the price! I would absolutely go back. They did not rush us at all and were very attentive. read more

I have been coming here for years but this is the last time! After waiting for 20 minutes they did my pedicure very quick and sloppy. I had them re-do it and it was not good again. They are jumping from one person to another and you feel like they are just waiting for you to leave . Quality and services are down to 0. read more

Their salon is beautiful and peaceful. I went in for an acrylic set for my birthday and the technician asked me many times if I was happy with the shape and made them perfect. They are shaped and painted perfectly and they even added some gems on for me. Despite being there till 30 minutes past close it was not a rushed job :) read more

Terrible time management and communication. First time getting a mani/pedi and 2 and half hours later did not even had the pedicure done completely. We got an appointment for 3pm, reached the place on time. As soon as we got there, they had no place to sit for me and my wife. We were made to wait for 30 minutes even after booking an appointment previously. We finally got around to sit on the pedicure chairs and had to wait another 30 minutes to get someone started on our pedicure. One hour later, we were just getting started. The service was definitely good and it was a great experience, but halfway through the session, the person doing the pedicure stopped and went to attend another client. Like what? Around 4:30, someone else, not even the same person, finally came on and proceeded to finish the pedicure. Then we were made to sit and no one came to attend us till around 5:30pm. People arriving after us literally got attended to before us. We had to be somewhere at 6, so we had to literally stop and leave. My wife had to leave with her previous shellac ripped off and they even misplaced the color she picked, resulting in confusion among literally every woman waiting there to get a nail painted. We paid for the services and left. My wife even got a hot towel burn. Definitely not coming back again. A simple, "Hey it's going to take longer" would have helped not let us have a terrible mental state. Any attempts to ask the employees resulted in "I don't take the decisions, ask someone else" read more

I am new here and was looking for a place to do my nails. I can say I was quite disappointed at this place and not sure why it gets these high reviews.The place looks a big run down and dirty.I didn't see any sterilization of the tools they used me. The technician that did my acrylic was rushing me so much and was always using the wheel to shape my nails .That is such unnecessary damage to the nails.It seems like they don't know how to use nail filer and other tools. I had not done my nails in a long time and I had the ingrown nail skin.She tried to remove that with the wheel and not the appropriate tool which makes the nail look ugly and does not have any result. I showed her a picture of specifically how I want my nail. I wanted them almond shaped and not long.I don't like long nails. She was trying to force to keep long nails probably because it was easier for her to shape ending in me telling her at least 3 times I want them shorter.the shaping of the nails was ugly and not uniform.Others were longer,shorter and different shapes.She said that my nails are flat and it's hard to put the extension. I had done my nails many times in the past and never heard such a nonsensical thing. After she did the acrylic my nails looked super thick and ugly and a lot longer than how I wanted. The whole process was rushed and I felt she did not do anything properly. Pedicure was very basic and did not even scrub your feet properly. My heels looked worst than when I came in. Never again to this place and honestly I do not get the good reviews. read more

First off the owner is so sweet and is good at remembering if you're a regular which I love and value at a nail salon. Second, everyone here is a hard worker, they all pick up their end of the job-no doubt. This place is always busy(because it's the best), but worth it. I've had 2 separate women do my shellac manicures- Lina and Crystal. I'd get a manicure from either, they did amazing. I'm big on having my cuticles and around my nails cleaned up very well and they both do amazing at this. Crystal is awesome at shape when it come to nails, I've never ventured out of the typical natural shape but she offered to try a gradual oval shape and I LOVE IT. I've had zero problems when coming here, allow yourself some time when you come to this salon and it will be 100% worth it. I just moved to Washington and had my regular nail place for 7 years in the last state we lived in, this will now be my go to place. Thanks ladies! Updating my review 8/30/18 Mary is amazing at design, she just did my nails with adorable cherries all over them and they turned out perfect. I was recommended this place by a co worker and the first few times they did great. Lina worked on my nails and would always do an amazing job on any design I asked for. A bit pricey but it was worth it for the design. However, the last few times I have come in the service has been horrible. The staff is not very friendly and you hardly get acknowledged when you walk in. I usually get a gel manicure, maybe with a design and my total will definitely be $65+. I wouldn't mind paying the prices if the service was good but it's not, my nails start chipping within the week. Appointments here don't matter you will still need to wait at least 30+ minutes to be seated as they have a horrible system in place. They don't say no to any walk-ins and for that reason you are left with unfriendly, overwhelmed staff that just wanna get you in and out without taking extra care of you and what you have asked for. read more

I am new to this area and wanted to get a manicure and pedicure done. I found out about this place and the reviews seemed good. The lady who did my manicure and pedicure was rushing so much so that I thought she was missing a flight. She did everything so hastily that I COULDN'T WAIT to get out of there. Even when she was putting the cream at the end, she just scrubbed it once and I have come back home with white hands. She barely cleaned by feet ( I thought that's what a pedicure is for). I DID NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE AT ALL. I am highly disappointed. Maybe the lady who was addressing me was in a rush or what but I know I won't be going back here again. read more

I was very impressed by this nail place. I was on vacation needing my nails filled and also wanted a pedicure. I was anxious about getting a fill somewhere new but am very happy I came here. The pedicure was awesome. Very clean place, massage chairs were great. I got in just before they got busy so I didn't have to wait (it was around 4pm in a Monday). Everyone was friendly. My nails were done by Amy and she was great. She took her time to make sure my shape was right and I didn't feel like my picky nature annoyed her at all. She was happy to make little adjustments as I needed. I'm very happy with color I got as well. I showed them a photo on Pinterest and they were able to match the natural pink I wanted (found out later it was called bubble bath by OPI). read more

NEVER AGAIN. Worst dip manicure that I have ever gotten. I wish I listened to the reviews, but I was desperate to find a new place before my honeymoon. 1) They had me soak my nails in a plastic bag with acetone for 20+ minutes. My fingers were so dry and it was uncomfortable having my fingers in warm, acidic water for such a long time. 2) The dip only lasted 1 week! Everything started chipping off right at the beginning of my honeymoon. 3) They hardly even acknowledged me when I was there, I was so excited to leave. I really want to support small businesses, especially food/salons from my fellow viet counterparts, but I don't think i have ever had such a terrible experience. read more

Great place! The only thing I don't like about is they are never on time. I call earlier always to make an appointment and I have to wait about 45 min to get the service. I am pretty busy and it literally takes me almost 2 or 3 hours to bet my nails done. So In other words the concept of appointment and punctuality doesn't work for this spa. read more

Got my nails done for the first time after having a baby and this place delivered! I was worried since my husband booked me an appointment to pamper myself and usualy nail salons dont do a great job and my nails start chipping the minute I get out of the salon but this place was good quality, professional, and affordable. I got the gel nails and they had so many wonderful color options that I was stumped but finally decided on a maron holiday color. They also had some foil nail color options for $10 more that looked cool as well. The lady that did my nails was nice and actually asked me how I wanted my nails shaped and made sure it was to my liking. And for $30 you cant go wrong. My nails were shaped to perfection and look amazing. Its been 3 weeks now and they're only slighlty chipping at the edges and still look great. Can't wait to go in again and get another fun color for the holidays. Definately recommend checking them out for some pampering. read more

The service had been superb, but for 1 detail The hostess came to look at the issue. I pointed it out, she dismissed it as unimportant, and told me the toe was fine. I insisted it be looked at. And she made the fix. All done. But she was rude and unkind. I felt unwelcome. Very sad for a nice day. read more

THEY ARE OPEN!! And practicing safe covid rules. Spacing, masks, etc...... I was so excited to be back and bring my mom! Thank you Jessica for what you do and your incredible staff I have been going here with my mom since I used a Groupon two years ago. Jessica and her entire staff are above the mark! I moved 80 miles away three years ago and plan my visits around my visits to my moms place in Redmond. They are kind, courteous, professional and the spa is breathtaking! Jessica takes such good care of my mom! And living so far away, it warms my heart and Iiyalways makes me feel so good knowing my mom is being well taking care of. Bless you Jessica! Quiet clean and comfortable!! Nicely decorated and the employees are very friendly! The prices are great! I was in town from Portland and have yet to find a nail salon I love. I'm in Seattle /BVue for work often. I may just start coming here vs finding a place near Portland. Lina did a great job on my nails. I am taking a break from SNS and decided to get a shellac mani (it's been over a year!) and it turned out so pretty! She was fast too!! I was in and out in less than an hour! I just got my nails done yesterday... i do my own nails but decided to get them done considering i was out my friends. first, the lady who did my nails applied the acrylic really sloppily, she used too much monomer to grab the acrylic bead... second, the shaping was poor. i asked for coffin but she gave me an almost "almond" type of "coffin" shape. i also told her the length i wanted and that i wanted them shorter , instead she said the length i had was already good.. she said it in a respectful manner but it wasnt what i wanted . third , the acrylic was kind of thin , its shape is mostly the polish they used. lastly , they could do the design i wanted (ill put it as the first photo and reference what i got after) . overall , i dont think it was worth the $80 dollars spent , i would've been more pleased with the pricing being of around $60..? but if it were done better , i wouldnt mind paying the $80 either. it looks better now because when i got home i filed them down the length i actually wanted ! *they also never applied any oils to my cuticles and never cleaned them up* read more

Just got my nails done there and it looks like straight trash. I would never go back. They had 5 different people working on my nails and no one could figure out how to do coffin shape. The shape turned out horrible, bulky, thick and uneven. It looks nothing like what I asked for. I'm super upset I wasted my time and money going there and now need to go get mine redone somewhere else. Smh never again read more

Nails looked good, facility was clean, and everyone was nice, but I made a reservation for 4:45 for myself and one other person. We arrived early at 4:35 and we ended up being there until 6:50. They soaked my cousins last dip powder manicure for over an hour. But they only checked it once in the entire hour. Then she had to wait another 30minutes for someone to come over and do the dip powder. Multiple customers came, got their nails done, & went while we were just sitting there without being checked on. So great place aside from the wait time - don't go in with a dip powder manicure to be removed. read more

This is the only nail salon I'll go to in the Seattle area and the only one I recommend to friends. They're hands down the best! The owner is super sweet and makes sure every customer leaves loving their nails. The girls who work there are so fun to talk to! The place itself is so cute and they always have water videos playing in the background to zen you out. Then the prices, girl, the prices are so cheap compared to every salon I've been to, especially in the Seattle area, like some places are CrAzY expensive for no reason. This place is amazing for a great price AND every 5 times you go you get 30% off,that's dope! Honestly that last part is one of my favorite parts, like no salons do that and that's sweet of them and a good discount. This place is just the best salon. Period. read more

I decided to visit them In spite of the mixed reviews, giving them the benefit of doubt and that was a mistake. Although the work was decent, the staff was very RUDE! They make you wait for too long between the pedicures and manicures. They did my pedicure, made me wait for 10 mins before someone came to apply the nail paint, then made me wait another 20 mins before the manicure. If you ask them why it's taking too long, you are given the choice to either WAIT OR LEAVE. One of the staff members dropped coffee on my shoes while I was getting the manicure done and blamed it on my leftover coffee, which actually belonged to the lady next to me. When told him it wasn't my coffee, he said it must have been the other lady. I knew for a fact that the lady had left long before this happened. But didn't want to argue with him. The rude behavior I had seen so far was enough for me already. I generally feel relaxed after my pedicures, but this was quite stressful. My hands and feet look drier than usual within an hour after the spa manicure and pedicure. Never going back again. read more

I went there with two of my friends to get meni pedi as a special treat on Saturday. It was the worst mani I have ever received. The lady actually had the nerve to give me a mani in middle of my pedicure and did a half ass job at it. My other friend asked for acrylic nails and the lady managed to take 2 hours to put on nails. She also hit my friend multiple times with the drill. All in all it was an utter waste of 135 dollars for me. read more

I was never told about card fees, yet when I tried to pay cash, they suddenly tacked on an additional fee, claiming it was "because of waxing." They later claimed the $10.00 rate was only for threading, yet I explicitly asked for waxing on the phone. My family doesn't even use threading. Customers deserve transparent pricing before a service, not a guessing game after the fact. On my second visit, the same worker tried to make up for her mistake and explicitly told me I did not need to pay. I asked her at least FIVE times if she was sure because I was completely ready to pay. She insisted, "Don't worry about it; it's ok." The situation became disturbing when I returned for a third visit with my children. I was completely ambushed and told I had to pay for the previous visit because the owner was now upset with that employee. An internal management dispute is not my responsibility. Customers should never be caught in the middle of employee-owner disagreements--do not make the customer feel uncomfortable or responsible for your failure of operational alignment. Professional businesses stand behind what their workers tell customers. They do not alter prices after the fact or change rules depending on who is upset that day. There is no language barrier on my part, perhaps on theirs. I understand the difference between the words waxing and threading perfectly. This business needs to learn that in America THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!

I am a true believer in PT but in this case, PT didn't help. My hamstring muscles were very tight, I could not get them to relax even with PT exercises. At that time, a friend suggested getting a massage and referred me to Yukiko Halvorson. At my first massage appointment with Yukiko, she worked on my hamstrings. With deep tissue massage, Yukiko, worked magic on my hamstrings and got them to relax for the first time in many weeks. I started out receiving one hour massages and have now worked up to 2 hour massages once a month. Yukiko is located in downtown Bellevue, one block north of Main Street in Old Bellevue. She has a parking spot reserved up front for her clients. Since moving to this new space (Namaste Healing Spa), Yukiko has incorporated hot stones into her massages. Combining deep tissue massage and hot stones really helps to relax my muscles. I highly recommend Yukiko Halvorson.

Most other nail techs were taken when I arrived and I was the last customer to finish and leave. She was quiet and nice but she went straight in with the e-file. Matched the right size extensions, filed those a little, then gel-ed them on right away. Granted I have pretty good cuticles but I would've liked them cleaned up a bit. The gel flooded out some sides and tips. She just e-filed them down. I was the last one there and some of the nail techs were leaving already. And what was I supposed to do, stop her and make her start again with my natural nails and cuticles after she already badly gel-ed the extensions on? Plus make her stay even later? After leaving I checked and I can straight up see in between my natural nail and the extensions I paid $80 + tip so under $95 total. I came the shop once time and Luna took care me so well. I love the way she treated customer service and she could explaine and suggest to help my nail be better(5) FOR LUNA. I recommend people should come to shop and make appointment with LUNA. She is the best At the shop. Second time , I came to nails and didnt make appointment with Luna so I let someone who was available to do my manicure and pedicure . I dont remember her name but she is old and wears mask when doing my pedi what does that mean????? Stinky?????? Haizzzz make me disappointed. My manicure 's technician is so rush (Tina). My profile says San Francisco CA but that is a mistake. I live in Bellevue WA. I found the nail salon through a Groupon, last year, and I was so impressed that I have been coming back ever since. What a find! I have brought my friends with me many times and they keep coming back too. The name says it all. Tranquility. There are lovely chandeliers hanging in the salon and the salon is restfully painted so that there is no jarring colors or sounds jangle your nerves. A large T.V. shows nature videos. Fish swimming through coral beds and peace permeates the whole place. The staff don't chat with each other so the you are left to relax and read or close your eyes and drink all the attention in. They will likely offer you something to drink. Tea or water. Parking is easy. They have a stamp program. Get 5 stamps and get a discount on your next service. I have been coming here for months with my friend. We always book our appointment ahead of coming and we have never waited to be seated when we arrive. They always greet us and are so nice and happy we are there and we are excited to be there as well. The spa is very well taken care of and they are always playing relaxing music. I always get gel manicure and it always last for weeks. This is my favorite nail place in Seattle due to how friendly they are as well as skilled. We both love coming here, we wouldn't go anywhere else in Seattle. I've had multiple people here do my nails and all of them are trained so well. I am always impressed by how well my nails look after coming here. Whenever I am walking around town I always get compliments on my nails and I tell people to come here!! THE WORST SALON I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. The acrylic they use is unhealthy for your nails and unhealthy for you to inhale. It is ILLEGAL and NOT FDA APPROVED. It's the cheaper kind of acrylic powder. and Let me tell you about my terrible experience here. I went to get my nails done with a friend, and when we were going to pay for the nails, i paid $40 for regular acrylics with 1 regular nail polish color. So far OVERPRICED. Next, the lady (i'm pretty sure she's the owner) straight up ASKED ME TO TIP. The nails are plastic and overpriced i didn't feel the need to tip when im already paying more than i should. However, to be fair i understand that tipping is a nice way to show appreciation. The fact that she asked me to tip her, was so disrespectful. Since when do nail salons require a tip? My experience at this salon today was extremely disappointing. The customer service was at an all-time low, particularly from the manager, who was shockingly rude. I have been a loyal customer for some time, primarily because of the convenience and their ability to accommodate multiple clients at once. However, the level of disrespect and unprofessionalism I encountered today was unacceptable. Terrible experience today. I went there at 11am, found the short woman always trying to be busy doing nothing (at the counter) wearing a crappy attitude kept me waiting for 1 hr and 30 mins. One of the girls took off my acrylic nails off and waited waited, there was no courtesy, no one at least came to explain to me what was happening, very racial place to go. This is a great place for getting your nails done! I booked an appointment for my sisters, my husband and I. We were running a few minutes late and our appointment was close to closing time but they still took all of us and treated us so well! They are all very nice and professional and do a great job! I've tried so many different salons and estheticians for waxing, and no one does it as good as Jessica. She gets every little hair! I've never had such smooth waxes. Ivy was the nail tech that did my nails this time. I was extremely impressed with her work. She completely reshaped my nails perfectly and was extremely patient as I figured out a design. In my last visit however, I received gel x and I noticed an air-bubble about 2 mm in diameter under the nail, with a little line connected to the air bubble that extended close to the tip of my real nail. I brought up my concern of moisture potentially getting under my nails (can lead to nail fungal infection, which happened to me before) to the tech after the nail was cured, and she reassured me that it wont happen. I chose to listen to her because I trusted her judgement. My nails are completed and I think they look great, I paid and tipped 20% and go on with my day. I go home and I am trying to see the air bubble under my nails but I cant bc theres polish on top, so I shined a light under my finger and I could see it. I washed my hands, and looked at the airbubble again with the light underneath and the bubble looks different which means something got underneath the nail, likely water. I check the rest of my nails and i see another smaller airbubble on another finger. The next morning, I drive 20 min to the salon and get there right when they open, and asked if they could redo the 2 nails because theres is water underneath (at least one of them). The lady at the counter asks if I can come back at 11 (an hr later) and they will fix it, and I agree with no issue because I know how busy they get with appointments (looking back, addressing a potential health concern should have been the priority). I come back an hour later, get seated with a nail tech, and as I am explaining what is going on and showing the tech the airbubble with the light underneath my finger, not even after I am done explaining, she cuts me off and says "thats not water its just the gel", and "no one shines a light under their finger" (as if what I am doing is dumb??), but I was literally just trying to show her the airbubble since you cant see it with with the nail polish on top...I explained how the airbubble looked different before and after I washed my hands the night before which means something got underneath my nail and I am just concerned about a potential nail infection since it has happened to me before. I really didnt appreciate how argumentative she got right off the bat. I was talking softly as well to not disturb the people sitting right next to me getting their nails done but she was talking in normal volume, talking to the other nail techs in vietnamese, and I just felt very unheard and put on the spot, when I am just voicing a potential health concern. I thought it would be a simple, quick get my 2 nails redone no questions asked, but I instead had to sit there and almost like defend why I am concerned, and persuade her to redo my nail. I also just drove 20 min and waited an hour and was told they could fix my nails. Eventually she said she can redo the one nail but "there is no warranty if your nails end up hurting because if I redo your freshly done nail, your nail is going to hurt because the nail is going to be thinner", and I asked her to just redo my nail (since thats obviously better than risking a nail infection??) She ended up just redoing the one nail with the bigger airbubble without even acknowledging the other finger I mentioned but by that point I just wanted to get out of there and away from that environment. The redone nail looks fine but I am just incredibly disappointed by the service, especially since I have supported their business and recommended my friends there in the last few years. The photo I attached is from their website where they state that their customer's health and safety is important to them...which does not align with my experience. It's no secret that the techs are talented, but the moment you have a concern about your nails, even a health concern, good luck.

You can bring any pictures and they will do the style you asked. But sometimes, if the customer before you requesting a very complicated drawings, you may have to wait.
