    Chicken enchiladas

I wasn't expecting much tonight but was impressed with the chicken enchiladas. They weren't skimpy. You got four. There wasn't anything else that accompanied them. With a Moscow Mule it was an acceptable dinner. The service was good.

We live in the Legacy Golf Resort and come here regularly ever since moving to the community. Our servers are always so friendly- and tonight Desiree was awesome! Great service and we love the sunset views :) If you need a suggestion on food- their calamari is AMAZING! Our other go-to items are Prime Rib, chicken club and raspberry salad w/ salmon. Enjoy!

EXCEPTIONAL - We planned my Wife's 50th Birthday Brunch here and Dave the manager was instrumental in making it a success! Dave was super helpful throughout the planning for this special event from setting us up at a great location on the Patio, prearranging a special menu for my wife Laura, and even went as far as printing up personalized special menus for her. Thank you Dave, you went over and above the call of duty. Lastly, not to leave out the professional service Brandon and Chris provided, Brandon was on us the whole time making sure all our glasses were full and checking in on us making sure all our needs were being met. They even allowed us to hire Mariachi's for our special event, which made my wife's birthday even more special. Thanks Guys!!!

I had breakfast twice, dinner once, and happy hour once at this nice restaurant located at the Legacy Golf Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. Spent a week here at this fabulous resort and the restaurant lived up to the reputation of being a fine dining choice. One morning I had the Western Omelette and it was delicious and quite large so much so that I couldn't finish it. On another occasion, I had the Eggs Benedict and that also was delicious. My dinner choice one evening was the Rib Eye Steak which was cooked perfectly medium rare like I like it and I was quite satisfied. Again, I could not finish the whole steak which was almost 16 ounces. It is nice to be able to have a fine meal and not have to leave the resort and we were happy that The Trails End Bar & Grill was there. BTW, all of our servers were excellent and even gave us tips on other dining establishments in the nearby area.

We are staying at the Silver Legacy and decided to try this place out. Service was okay but the food was pretty bad. My omelette was completely burned and the toast was hard and dry. I won't go back.

I was shocked to find out that Missy's has been open since Jan! This is a hidden gem on the south side! Missy's is on the corner of 16th and southern in the smaller street side plaza - the location is a walk up window (I knew immediately I was in for a treat) The lady and gentlemen that greeted me at the window were extremely nice and welcoming and let me know all about the menu. Not sure if they were the owners or not, but I appreciated the friendly service. The menu is robust with a late night weekend special menu (which includes oxtails til 2am) but I had a 1 track mind: CATFISH! The 3 pieces I got were large and automatically came with hush puppies (yum) and a side. The food was done is about 15 minutes but it didn't seem that long - the catfish was piping HOT! I was trying to eat it and cool it off at the same time, I made it all the way home and the food was still hot which I really appreciated. The catfish was crunchy/crispy on the outside and super flaky on the inside- perfect! Both my husband and 13 month old daughter wouldn't keep their hands out my platter! My husband liked Missy's catfish over the food truck that we used to always go to. I already started telling people about Missy's and we will definitely be back!

The restaurant and outdoor entertainment complex is huge and has a really fun, energetic vibe. According to the bartender, they have ping-pong, pickleball, and a big upstairs outdoor patio with amazing views of Tempe and the surrounding area. There's also a large parking lot, lots of outdoor seating, and even a dog park area, which makes it really easy to spend time here. The bartenders and wait staff were very friendly. Azbel was a great server. I had the bistro steak and fries and the Szechuan lettuce wraps, and both were really good. Portions were generous. During late-night happy hour my total was about $55 for a main entrée, an appetizer, a cocktail, and tip, which felt like a great deal. I was pleasantly surprised that happy hour runs every day Monday through Sunday from 3-6 PM and again from 8 PM to close. I also checked out the event venue on site, and it looks like it would be a great place for a company party, corporate event, or group gathering. I'll definitely be returning in the near future.

The space is cozy and full of character, though the limited basement footprint means it's not the most intimate setting if you're looking for a quiet, private dinner. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The lamb lollipops were perfectly prepared and packed with flavor, the potato and artichoke dish was a delicious and unexpected standout, and both the veal and Wagyu carpaccio were excellent. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The house-made jam cocktails were especially memorable--creative, unique, and absolutely delicious. It's refreshing to find a cocktail program that offers something different from the usual menu. Service was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the evening, adding to the overall experience. If you're looking for great food, inventive cocktails, and a distinctive atmosphere with historic charm, Rough Rider is well worth a visit. We'll definitely be back.

He then confirmed we were still within the happy hour window and offered to bring us a menu. They used to have an extensive happy hour menu featuring several drinks and food items and now their "happy hour menu" consists of a cheeseburger for $22. Not sure that that really constitutes as a happy hour menu... I asked him why they changed the menu and he put up his hands as if to say he's not to blame and said he doesn't have anything to do with those decisions. He said that "management decided to make a few substitutions but they're pretty good" and didn't provide any further elaboration. I ordered the appetizer lamb lollipops which had four small pieces for $25. My friend decided to try the "happy hour" cheeseburger and he said it was good but it did appear a bit overpriced for an average burger with a pretty hefty serving of french fries. I really wasn't impressed by the quality of the food, the portion size, the price, or the service. Unfortunately, I'll be taking Rough Rider off my list of regular places i frequent and restaurants I recommend to others.

We have been curious…read moreabout this place ever since we stopped and talked to the person seating people while we were waiting for our reservation across the street. He mentioned a pickle martini, which I ordered at lunch and was very good. My wife ordered the welcome burger and enjoyed it except for them getting the toppings wrong. Our granddaughter really liked her mac and cheese and there was a generous serving of sliced fruit. And my Jose Burger had just enough spice and was very tasty. That what's the good. So we stopped here for lunch on a Friday about 12:30 with our 3-year-old granddaughter. Our initial server barely said two words to us and we felt like we were an imposition. When we ordered my wife asked did they have Pepsi or Coke products he said we have bottles and cans of everything, so she ordered a Coke. It was Mexican Coke which is fine, but $5, and it wasn't until we noticed other people had cans of regular Coke and realized he did not give us a choice. When we ordered our burgers, again he barely said two words and did not ask us how we wanted them cooked even though the menu says cook to order. When we got them they were very rare, see the picture, which we're okay with although we would have ordered them a little more done. My wife said no onions on hers, and of course there was onions on her berger. Later we were served by a waitress who was much more friendly and we realize was probably just not there yet when we sat down, so the initial waiter didn't really care what we thought since we weren't going to be his customers at the end. So sadly what could have been a very pleasant lunch was spoiled by the initial waiter, even though the food was good we may not be back.
