Oh, Chili's! You're a good addition to the Laveen restaurant lineup. I want this location to be GREAT, and in some ways it comes close, but you should manage your expectations of you're going to go here as a patron. Food: good value overall. You know what you're getting when you come here. It's not going to knock your socks off, but it's consistently good. Ambiance: this is a new location, so it's still really nice! I hope they keep it in good repair. The lighting and art is modern and fun. They keep it clean, and the booths and tables are in great shape. Service: most of the staff is young, and they're definitely still learning the art of hospitality versus just checking the boxes. Both times I've gone, it was like I had too many checkins at the beginning of the meal, but had to wait forrrrever for boxes. It'll serve the staff well to get down the cadence when balancing multiple tables. I also went shortly after they opened the last time I was there. The restaurant was nearly empty, but I had to ask three times for a booth. It made me feel weird that I had to be so assertive. If you haven't gone yet, this is your sign to go get a triple dipper and check it out. You probably won't regret it.

First time at this location - staff was friendly and restaurant was clean. However, service was terrible and food was mediocre. One friend had the chicken crispers, said they weren't the best as compared to other chilis locations. Two of us had the Santa Fe burger (veggie style) - we were disappointed, it was supposed to have jalapeños and guacamole....it had pickles but not sure what happened to the jalapeños :-) and a dab of guacamole. No biggie but the taste wasn't the best. Another friend had the steak fajitas which he really liked. We had the bottomless chips and if you can make it out in my picture, the chips were stuck to each other in clumps. Service was terrible period. When requested 1 refill, the waitress told so long we were done eating. Instead of ice tea, she brought a pitcher of warm tea with no ice, dark as coffee. When I pointed it out, she offered to bring ice but never did. Requested condiments and salt, she forgot. It is just not a place I will opt to go...lots of other options so I definitely won't drive to this location for the heck it. If you choose to go, I hope you have a better experience.

Service was amazing! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The drinks and food came out so fast! We never had to ask for refills because they noticed whenever our drinks would get low. The environment was comfortable and we will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the great experience! Very excited to have you in the neighborhood.

The food was good and tasty. The portions were just right. The employees were quick and on top of things. Our server Amy was polite and very friendly. Suggested a few items like the queso beef which was good. The place was packed but the service was still quick. The teams were helping each other out which is nice to see. The vibe was good.

    Me looking at the menu.

I walked into Chili's as a normal human being and walked out a changed soul. The moment I sat down, I could feel the ancestors whispering, "Get the Triple Dipper." And I listened. Quenching. The fries? Perfectly seasoned. The mozzarella sticks stretched so far I briefly considered filing them as a local landmark. My burger was so juicy I needed a moment of silence out of respect. The drinks? Bottomless. I don't know how, I don't ask questions, I simply accept blessings. The atmosphere was electric. TVs glowing. Booths comfy. Chili pepper logo staring into my soul, daring me to order dessert (I did). Service was so good I half expected my server to tuck me in and read me a bedtime story. If loving Chili's is wrong, I don't want to be right. I will be back. I may never leave. Tell my family I'm safe.

From the moment I walked in, the staff and regulars made me feel right at home. Super friendly, no-pressure vibes, and great service all around. I sat in the back -- there was a slight smell in that area, which I hope gets addressed soon -- but honestly, it didn't take away from the overall experience. The energy in the lounge was upbeat and welcoming, and the ambiance felt like a cozy mix between dive bar comfort and lounge charm. Now let's talk about that margarita! Absolutely delicious and well-balanced -- not too sweet, not too strong, just right. The presentation of both the drink and food was on point (photo attached!). Everything was fresh and flavorful. Parking was a breeze -- located right out front and easily accessible. Looking forward to coming back -- this is the kind of spot that quickly becomes your go-to. Cheers, Spurr Lounge!

The area is kind of small for the pool tables, so you're kind of trying to navigate hitting the ball and hitting somebody in the gut, lol. The men's bathroom was horrible for a few months. It literally smelled like the sewage lines had broken and spilled into the whole bar and it reeked. The men and women had to use the same restroom for a while. But they got it fixed. They have darts, but it's out on the back patio and let's just say in Arizona that's a recipe for disaster. Because dust is so thick on the machines you can't even see the screen. I saw the bartender lady literally walked out the door screaming at a customer saying, "suck my.@&$!" and throwing up the middle finger! All in all, the drinks were cheap. The people are OK, except for one guy who was just naturally a jerk, but I digress. If you're looking for a true neighborhood, dive bar to grab a quick beer or a stiff drink on your way home, this is the place. But my suggestion, just pay cash and and never open a tab, always close your card with every transaction. I've never had any issues with overcharging, but apparently others have.

First impression, it's unapologetically a dive. Dark, a little worn in, and not trying to impress anyone. Give it about five minutes though and it starts to click. The kind of place where people actually talk to each other, bartenders keep things moving, and nobody's putting on a show. Drinks came quick and strong, which is really all I'm asking for in a spot like this. Prices were more than reasonable too. You're not getting anything fancy, but that's not why you're here. There was a mix of stuff going on while I was there. Music, people bouncing between the bar and the pool tables, a few regulars who clearly treat the place like their second living room. It had energy without feeling chaotic, which is a tough balance and they mostly pull it off. Only reason I'm landing at four stars instead of five is because it's definitely not for everyone. It leans hard into that dive bar identity, and depending on the night, it can feel a little rough around the edges. Service was solid, but you can tell it probably swings with the crowd. That said, if you're in the right mood and not looking for anything polished, it's a good time. I'd go back without overthinking it.

Reading some of the…read morenegative reviews honestly makes me wonder if those people have ever stepped foot in a true neighborhood bar before. For the folks complaining that the tall white guy is rude, maybe try following the clearly posted rules first. There's literally a flashing sign that says "ORDER HERE." Yes, at some bars you can order from anywhere along the counter. But when there's a big sign telling you exactly where to go, common sense should kick in. If you're standing randomly at the bar and get redirected, that's not rudeness! that's structure. This place has character/history and I mean real character. It draws a mix of OG regulars who've been here since day one and newer people who just happen to stumble in. The vibe is diverse, unpredictable, and you definitely need to be open-minded. That's part of the magic. Coming from a very gay Mexican who checks plenty of stereotypical boxes. I've always felt welcomed here. The energy is real, the people are real, and you'll probably leave having had a great conversation or a laugh you didn't expect. And let's not forget: cheap beer pitchers, bomb wings, and hands down some of the best pickles you'll ever have. Ignore the negativity. This spot is a gem. Though honestly... maybe we should keep it our little hole-in-the-wall secret.

This is my at-least-once-a-month spot for catching up with friends, popping in solo, or grabbing a "just one drink" that may or may not turn into two. The beer selection is massive, borderline intimidating, and the wine list rotates often, which I love. Pro tip: don't play beer roulette unless you enjoy surprises that might hurt your feelings. Instead, tell the bartender what you like and they'll work their magic, usually with a taste so you don't commit to something you regret. As a wine drinker, I especially appreciate when they suggest something I wouldn't normally order and absolutely nail it. The vibe is casual but a sort of kind of sexy (weird). The dim lighting, great energy, and zero pressure might be it. Bar seating up front, games if you're feeling social, and high tables in the back for groups or communal mingling. It's the kind of place where you can settle in... or pop in, pop out, and still feel satisfied without spending your rent money. They have small bites like grilled cheese and occasional cheese plates, but let's be honest, this is not a food destination, and that's perfectly fine. My beer-loving friends can happily sample half the menu while I sip a perfectly chilled Sauvignon Blanc and judge none of it. And finally, the real MVPs: the bartenders. Always friendly, always helpful, always down to chat, especially if you're there solo (hi, it's me again!). They'll listen to you ramble, offer great suggestions, and somehow make you feel like a regular even if you're just stopping in briefly. Reliable, fun, unpretentious, and consistently solid.
