Chili's in Laveen is fairly new to the city. I went during the week as it was not crowded and had a great experience. The servers are very friendly and attentive, even the manager came out to check on us. Oh, Chili's! You're a good addition to the Laveen restaurant lineup. I want this location to be GREAT, and in some ways it comes close, but you should manage your expectations of you're going to go here as a patron. Food: good value overall. You know what you're getting when you come here. It's not going to knock your socks off, but it's consistently good. Ambiance: this is a new location, so it's still really nice! I hope they keep it in good repair. The lighting and art is modern and fun. They keep it clean, and the booths and tables are in great shape. Service: most of the staff is young, and they're definitely still learning the art of hospitality versus just checking the boxes. Both times I've gone, it was like I had too many checkins at the beginning of the meal, but had to wait forrrrever for boxes. It'll serve the staff well to get down the cadence when balancing multiple tables. I also went shortly after they opened the last time I was there. The restaurant was nearly empty, but I had to ask three times for a booth. It made me feel weird that I had to be so assertive. If you haven't gone yet, this is your sign to go get a triple dipper and check it out. You probably won't regret it. read more

First time at this location - staff was friendly and restaurant was clean. However, service was terrible and food was mediocre. One friend had the chicken crispers, said they weren't the best as compared to other chilis locations. Two of us had the Santa Fe burger (veggie style) - we were disappointed, it was supposed to have jalapeños and guacamole....it had pickles but not sure what happened to the jalapeños :-) and a dab of guacamole. No biggie but the taste wasn't the best. Another friend had the steak fajitas which he really liked. We had the bottomless chips and if you can make it out in my picture, the chips were stuck to each other in clumps. Service was terrible period. When requested 1 refill, the waitress told so long we were done eating. Instead of ice tea, she brought a pitcher of warm tea with no ice, dark as coffee. When I pointed it out, she offered to bring ice but never did. Requested condiments and salt, she forgot. It is just not a place I will opt to go...lots of other options so I definitely won't drive to this location for the heck it. If you choose to go, I hope you have a better experience. read more

Waited over 20min in line at Chili's only for a couple to come in and say they were a party of 2 and after they were seated immediately they told the waitress they were actually not a party of 2 but now they were a party of 8, which automatically took our spot and prolonged our wait for our party of 8. When I brought this up to the manager his response was "I can't really tell them to get up now can I since there already seated especially since they have a small child" warrant the couple had not even ordered yet when I brought this to the managers attention. So instead of waiting 30more min, on top of the 20min we were already waiting to eat, we decided to leave and go somewhere else since apparently fairness doesn't matter to this franchise unless you lie to get ahead of the line read more

For the 2nd time in 1 year this location only has one waiter. I have never been here when it's busy even on a Saturday or sunday. Once again me and my guest decided to leave than wait gor service. Applebees used yo be great and consistent. Not so much. They should just give up and close. Its clear there are no leaders or management at this location. Ordered the triple dipper. When food arrived I was given mozzarella sticks instead of the chicken tenders. I pointed this out to the staff. The "manager" or shift leader, not sure she did not introduce herself. She asked for the mozzarella sticks back in order to get my replacement. It was 2 sticks. What unsanitary restaurant takes back food to throw it away. Or was she hungry and wanted to eat them herself. Any place would bring me what I ordered and leave the TWO mozzarella sticks. How petty. Maybe we need to let the health inspector or corporate know that you take back 2 mozzarella sticks to be petty. read more

Honestly just gross food overall, extremely salty and looks like slop. I ordered wings on one occasion, they were very dry and flavorless. I ordered three different flavors and none of them had enough sauce or flavor. My most recent order was simple just potato soup, and a kids cheese pizza. Potato soup was extremely salty and the pizza was as well. The dough was floppy, not crispy, and the side of mashed potatoes tasted like dish washing water. We had walked in to have a nice dinner and I noticed that the chicken sandwich that my boyfriend had ordered was not the spicy one that he wanted. So naturally I ask the young gentleman next to us (Isaac) if he can ask our server for the proper chicken sandwich. He then asked with an attitude "what's wrong with the sandwhich, that is the correct sandwhich" and looked at his watch and rolled his eyes. He then said that we would not be able to switch out the sandwhich even tho he was not our original server. Then he said that if we wanted the correct one we should know which one to order. Then the manager came over and spoke to us because as a server that is an unacceptable response to someone else's section. Not only did he ruin our experience here but he also caused an ininviting environment for the people around us as he was creating a fuss. I spoke to the manager and did not ask for a refund or that our original server be reprimanded but that he be talked to about his service etiquette. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this Chili's location and felt it was worth sharing. We came in as a party of 7 around 10:20 PM, understanding that closing time is 11:00 PM. We are familiar with the menu so after a long day of work we were ready to order , have dinner and go home and rest. However, from the moment we were seated, the service was extremely poor. No one came to greet us or offer drinks for quite a while. I finally asked a waiter passing by if we were going to get help since the table next to us arrived after we did and they already had their drinks. When our server (Gabriela, per the receipt) finally approached the table, she did not introduce herself, smile, or provide any basic level of hospitality--she simply asked if we were ready to order. Throughout the meal, she never asked if we needed refills, I had to ask her. And we had to rely on ourselves while other staff walked around doing side tasks like messing with ketchup bottles or checking their phones. I do have to say when other employees dropped some food off at our table they were smiling and nice and they did ask if everyone and everything was okay. Once we finished eating, no one brought the check, and the kiosk at the table did not display our total. We had to actively look for someone just to request a box for leftovers. When Gabriela eventually returned, she dropped off the ticket without asking if we needed to split the bill or explaining the payment process. She began clearing the table while we were still figuring out how to pay, without communicating anything. We ended up walking toward the exit to pay, where another employee helped us, she told us we had to pay with our waiter to which I responded I no longer wanted to go back to ask for help. She kindly helped us pay.  I completely understand that employees can have off days, but this level of service was unacceptable--especially for a new neighborhood location where you'd expect a welcoming atmosphere. Showing up almost an hour before closing should not result in being treated like an inconvenience. I had already read bad reviews on the neighborhood group online about this new location but I thought maybe they had a bad experience and I wanted to give it a try.  Management should seriously address staff training and customer service expectations. Happy to welcome Chili's to our Laveen neighborhood! When my husband and I visited at 3:30pm ...to our surprise it was PACKED. That being said the service was amazing. Several different employees checked in our table throughout our dining experience. Food was hot and the bottomless chips kept rolling in! My only complaint is that chilis does not include alcoholic drink prices on their menus (more of a corporate complaint than locational). I understand their business model but customers who do care about prices don't want to hold up their waiter/waitress to ask for the price of each drink to ultimately make a decision. You cannot even find the pricing online. Including drink prices on menus may speed up overall service in turn helping out the staff! read more

Been coming to this new Chilis in my area at least once a week and the food has been hot and fresh until today. I ordered on line and got a text 6min later saying my food was ready. Not a good sign. Ordered from door dash and received someone else's order. We called and manager told us he would refund our $81.00. We'll, 8 days passed and no refund. Ended up calling back and a different manager states we were given wrong info from manager. We were told we needed to call door dash for refund.
