Breakfast special- all the flavors to start your Saturday right!

So good, service and delicious dishes! Micheladas and eggs bene were the perfect combo for brunch. Honestly so many great menu options to choose from!

Slow Cook Beef and Eggs

Fabulous! It's a fairly small spot, so be prepared to look a bit for parking and available seating. They have a small, front patio too. The service was super friendly and attentive. This was a great brunch spot as they offer both breakfast and lunch entrees, most with some Mexican food flair. I got the Slow Cooked Beef and Eggs. It comes with pulled beef in red sauce, 3 eggs, potatoes, and toast. The beef was very flavorful. We also got a Tres Leches Pancake that they only have on the weekends. It was the best thing there! So delicious, not too sweet, and beautifully caramelized.

The Signature Red Slow Cook Beef was outstanding.

It's always good to walk into an ethnic restaurant and see it is full of the same ethnicity. It shows that the restaurant makes quality food the right way. We returned to Almuerzo for a visit a year later. My wife ordered JR's Favorite and a Bloody Mary again but I got the Red Slow Cooked Beef Benedict and an iced tea. Before tip, it came to $47.18. Our brunch arrived in 10 mins. The chillechilles were full of pulled pork, with lots of chips, plenty of tomatillo sauce and two nice, runny eggs. Perfect. My Benedict was every bit as sumptuous, piled high with savory, braised beef on a corn cake, beautifully poached eggs and hollandaise sauce over all. I didn't see the cotija cheese on top though. Also, my potatoes were a scant 10 half pieces of red potatoes, but I was full after eating nonetheless. Our service was excellent, despite sitting at the back table. Return visit planned but sooner than a year.

Cute little gem in Laveen! I am so excited we finally tried this place. We arrived around 12 pm and were sat inside immediately. It's a tiny, unassuming little spot -- there's very limited seating but you have patio options as well. They offer specials every week along with their regular menu. I ordered The Chef's Favorite with poached eggs and my partner ordered The Green Chili Benedict. Wow! So much great flavor in both dishes. The Chef's Favorite comes with red chile beef on top of a thin corn cake with your choice of eggs and their house sauce. Also comes with a side of Almuerzo papas or hash browns. It was delicious! I am not normally a red sauce girly but this one was out of this world delicious. The beef was tender with a hint of spice and went so well with the corn cake and the poached eggs. My partner's dish was tasty as well. The green chile is served with either pork or chicken and a side of papas or hash browns. He is quite picky with his food and clearly enjoyed this dish. Prices are fair and service was pretty quick. Check it out soon if you're in the area.

Almuerzo is a cute little brunch spot located in a plaza off of 51st Ave and Southern. The food is great quality and good tasting. I haven't had the opportunity to come as often as I would like but so far they made a good first time impression. Staff was friendly and customer service was prompt. Will return to try other items on the menu !

Stopped in here on a Sunday morning for some yummy brunch! The place does have limited seating inside and they do have outfit seating also. It was definitely a mom and pop place and it was delicious! They have a ton of options for an everyone. The service was amazing. She was attentive and kind and in a good mood. The cooks were laughing and joking which made for a fun ambiance. The food was spot on. I just wanted a lighter dish so I got the toast, it was hard to choose because they all sounded delicious! And they were! We will definitely be back! If you are in the area stop in and give them a try! You won't be disappointed!

As a regular customer, I've noticed a decline in quality. This morning's chilaquiles didn't seem prepared correctly the tortillas were not crispy or deep fried, just cut and served as is.

AMAZING! saw this place on tiktok and immediately wanted to try it out. We were served immediately and they're super friendly, clean and speedy! would definitely recommend amazing food, drinks and ambiance!!!

From putting ourselves on the waitlist to actually get and see it was almost 45 minutes. In regards to the restaurant, it is pretty quaint with some seating inside and outside and also bar seating. I didn't notice there was some options to be able to purchase cafe style drinks and cocktails. On this occasion, I did get a Hugo spritz which was really good nice and cold and it went great with brisket Benny. We also shared a French toast, which was really good. All in all I did enjoy the meal here and maybe would come back, but it was pretty crowded.

Our server was friendly, but she rarely checked on our table. The food was decent, depending on what you order. I had the huevos rancheros, which were good and had a nice level of spice. My girlfriend ordered the Mexican skillet and was disappointed. It needed salt and was mostly covered in cheese. The atmosphere and decor were lovely, and the space is well decorated. Unfortunately, the service didn't match. As one example, I asked for a to go box three times and waited about 25 minutes to get it. I'd consider coming back for the atmosphere and a few of the dishes, but the service needs improvement.

I was delighted to recently learn that they have two other locations: at the Biltmore and at CityScape. I recently went to breakfast with out of town friends and the Breakfast Club and had a delightful experience with them. It was over the weekend, and we had a bit of a wait, but it was well worth it with great food and good service. On my recent visit, I ordered orange juice and the Chicken-Fried Chicken dish, which was a Club Plate, served with three eggs, potatoes O'Brien, and fresh fruit. The dish came with sage, fennel sausage gravy, and house-made hot sauce (though I opted for no hot sauce). It isn't a dish I would typically order, yet it was delicious. My friends ordered an omelette and the steak and eggs. Everyone was happy with what they ordered. Ironically, we bumped into my boss and her husband at Breakfast Club that day, which just showed that everyone goes there. The service was good, and our servers, the managers, and the host team were all helpful, offered answers to my many questions, and made my friends and I feel right at home. They all seemed to have tried all of the dishes on the menu as they knew a lot about all of the dishes, which was very helpful. The Breakfast Club, founded in 2003, was created as a new take on the morning gathering place. It blossomed from frequenting a local coffee and bagel shop where networking took place and now is all of that and more as they serve great breakfast. Check out their website (https://www.breakfastclub.us) to learn more about their menu, locations, online ordering, catering, jobs, gift cards, their story, and even how to get on their waitlist (which is what I did when I recently went). I look forward to returning again soon, now that it's near my office!

I usually get a pretty classic breakfast, while my partner always switches between the Border Bowl or one of their sandwiches. Everything we've tried has been so good, and we've never had a bad meal here. The food is always fresh, portions are great, and there are so many options that you can come here over and over and still have something new to try. The Border Bowl in particular is SO good if you like a hearty, savory breakfast. The atmosphere is fun, the food is consistently delicious, and it's just one of those restaurants that never disappoints. I recommend this place to literally everyone. If you're in Phoenix and haven't been to The Breakfast Club yet, you seriously need to go. My favorite restaurant ever!!

I should have known better when the waitress said they hadn't received their shipment of white gravy, and all they had was brown gravy. White gravy is butter, flour, and milk. It's just about the simplest thing for a kitchen to make, and they get it in a box. Worst yet, they can't make any from scratch while they're out of the boxed stuff..? I'm going to guess the brown gravy came out of a box, too, because it was unremarkable. The CFS was clearly frozen. Very chewy, and not much flavor or crunch. The menu used to be colorful and full of photos. Now it looks like the first Microsoft Word Template someone clicked on. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the hash browns were decent. My guest had the corned beef hash and she was too full to finish it. So, I tried it and it was pretty bland, and looked like it came out of a can. I'll give them a second star for knowing how to cook an egg, but next time I feel like a good breakfast on this side of town, I'll just go to Denny's. Denny's is much better than Kay's.
