The setup is so cute, I love pop-up concepts because they're typically very open and it's cool to see all the inner workings of the business and how they make each order. I quickly felt very welcome here! One of the co-owners, Israel, gave me a whole rundown of the business and how it's been partnering with Nami Matcha to sell their product. He was an absolute angel and answered all of my nosy questions! Onto the drink, I opted for the Nami Matcha which comes with Nami matcha powder, oat milk and agave. A very simple drink that truly allows the flavor of the matcha to shine! Israel asked me if I wanted a little cold foam on top and I couldn't say no, so that added a delicate sweetness to the drink. You could taste the banana pudding but the coffee flavor was still strong. That's hard to do. My sister liked hers but said the cold foam didn't really taste like cookie butter. I think it's possibly because they just blend cookie butter into whip cream without melting it and/or adding anything to enhance the flavor of the cookie butter.
