What a gem! My daughter and I finally tried this place. It's a cute little spot offering different drinks and gelato. The interior has a few tables and also an arcade game to play. There is also a chess board available to play and a sign up list to meet and play chess! We came in here late on a Sunday night. I ordered a small Thai tea with boba and a Thai tea smoothie since they ran out of one of the ingredients for another Thai tea. I actually loved the smoothie more! Cute boba spot in the shopping plaza off of 59th Ave and Baseline. Store is clean and staff is friendly. They have a good variety of drinks. First impression was decent, I wasn't a big fan of the specific flavor of drink that I got however you can tell their base products are good quality and taste. Checked this new place out the other day. So happy to have a boba place in Laveen. The menu has tons of choices and all the drinks are very customizable. I ordered green tea with raspberry syrup and original boba at 50% sweet. You can pick from a few different tea bases, and there are tons of flavors to choose. Then you pick what flavor boba and how sweet you want your drink. They also have a case of different flavors of gelato (which I didn't try). The service was friendly and quick. The person at the register was very helpful and knew about allergies which is a plus for me because I have to eat dairy free. Basically their entire menu is dairy free btw. I believe the milk tea has milk protein but uses a lactose free creamer. There's plenty of inside seating which has nice views of the mountains. I also came back a few days later and got an iced coffee with almond milk which was very good! I will definitely be making this place a regular stop! read more

Music was blasting when I entered. The two ladies in the front with the big lashes had a bit of attitude but I just ignored it and ordered. I got a Cookie Monster gelato which was a 2/10 at best. Been here 2x so far 1st time I had the Arizona sunset as a tea and the next time I had it as a slush, both times with strawberry jelly and I loved both times. My mom got the pomegranate peach tea and she liked it because I asked for 25% sweetness, but she said next time we should ask for 0%, I'm happy they have the options. There was a line when I went the second time (6pm) but the two ladies working moved quick. Plus it's a great place to just sit, enjoy your drink and chat with friends. read more

Anytime I come in the workers are always just sitting around, even eating ramen sometimes at the register. One time I came in to order and the girls take my order (yes two girls at register) and as I'm placing my order they just have a conversation as if my interaction with them is going to last so long that they can't wait to have this conversation after my order of one drink... the owners need to be a little harder on the workers and the workers need to stop taking advantage read more

10/12/24: tried this location for the first time this particular Saturday. It immediately put a smile on our faces as there was a waving boba drink blow-up thingy outside. :-) It's a fairly new location off the Loop 202 which means it was a very pristine place -- there is still quite a bit of construction happening in the strip mall area but there is definitely a ton of available parking. The gal behind the counter was very friendly and their interior decor was very cool -- I loved the Legos plants! So cool. A couple tables had chess boards on them, with all the pieces (hopefully no one ruins that). This locale actually had gelato, although we only ordered boba drinks. One reason we really enjoy Bobazona is that they have H-U-G-E 32 oz beverages. Of course, that means when you order a 32 oz Thai tea late in the afternoon, you may be up all night. LOL! Next time we go -- and we will because they have a punch card program for free drinks! -- I will have to remember to take pics of the drinks. So happy to have Bobazona in the 'hood. read more

Went here on a Friday around 2pm. It was not busy at all. The store was nice and clean and we were immediately greeted. The staff were patient and reviewed their overall concept with us since it was our first time. They have A LOT of options-something for everybody. Milk tea, smoothies, slushes, refreshers with sparkling water or energy drink. They also have gelato. We got a mango prickly pear slush, pomegranate peach slush, mango prickly pear refresher with sparkling water & pomegranate boba, and the purple churro milk tea. Everything was super yummy. The slush drinks were on the sweet side but overall really good. The purple churro was the star of the show for me and will most likely be what I'd order when I return. It's a combination of taro and horchata. Not too sweet and just the perfect mix of flavor profiles. There are chess boards, a game machine, and a cool swing inside. I'd definitely recommend this place. read more

The girl who took my order was nice but the one who made the drinks had attitude. $15 for 2 strawberry milk teas and it was probably the worst I've ever tasted in my life. I tried to mix it around but the strawberry syrup whatever they use would not mix. It tasted bitter and spoiled not even remotely close to other strawberry milk teas I've had. The horchata milk tea was good the sour punch lemon tasted like soda water. Drinks were decent. What was horrible was the young ladies working. They made us feel like we were bothering them and not even a smirk. We went on 5/17/25. 12pm. Perhaps will try one more time but if the service is the same I refuse. read more

New spot in Laveen, I can now avoid drive to Tempe! This place has a great sitting area to just hang out, work friendly (has plugs for tablet or computer), board games, music and just comfy vibe. The service is always great! The young ladies, think Stephanie and Ronnie helped us last,are always so sweet, make recommendations when you ask and just feel like they are happy to help (hard to find in today's world). Now the tea ...delicious! I am a Thai Tea maniac, so I am here now atleast twice a week getting my fix. I've brought my BF and he loves the ice cream, since he doesn't like boba this is a great option if you're bringing someone. Everything we have tasted has been flavorful and creative mixes. It is good service, chill environment but it's pretty annoying how the same drink is made different/tastes different whenever I order here. It's good boba and the drinks taste good it's just annoying that I don't know exactly how my drink is going to be even if I got the same one as I have before.
