I only get one drink at Scooter's because I exclusively drink sugar-free beverages. I ordered mine, stating clearly that it was sugar-free, and I ordered a regular full-sugar menu item for my daughter. The barista taking my order did not correctly capture the sizes or temperatures I had stated, and had to clarify them. When I arrived at the window, the employee repeated the order to me. I clarified it was sugar-free. She turned away from me without answering. I assumed she didn't hear me and said again a little louder that I wanted to make sure she captured that it was sugar-free. Again, no response. After handing me my daughter's drink, she said, "I'm having them re-make yours since nobody said anything about sugar-free." I'm not going to wax poetic about why this was unacceptable. Just putting this here in hopes the franchise owners sees it and cleans house. Entry was free and there were plenty of vendors and/or items for sell. The play area for the kiddos was nice and the pumpkin set up was nice. It was a beautiful place to take pics. You need quarters to feed the animals. We met the owner and he was super nice. Buying items from the store was easy, they have a kiosk that's easy to use. We got the key lime pie and strawberry cheesecake in a cup. We also got pizza from a food truck. It took a long time to make but it was good. I can't wait to go back on a day that isn't super busy.

When my cousin and I visited, the flower fridges were empty. There were a few small bouquets by the counter that were beautifully arranged. They had run out of quite a few ingredients. I wanted to try their turquoise matcha, but they didn't have any matcha left. So I got a hot Rose Cake latte with almond milk. The combination of white mocha and raspberry was good, just a little too sweet for me. I imagine this cafe looked beautiful when it was full of flowers and decor. This location is not ideal - it's tucked in the corner of a shopping plaza, not visible on the main road. I'm so glad they still have location in Tempe, and I'm definitely going to check it out!
