And led than 2 miles from our B&B. The place was busier than the first time we were here and they had opened an additional dining room. Yet, service was as good as before. We had several different types of burgers, but mine was, I think, the best. It was a Chicken burger with avocado and it was awesome. The libation was a local Tubular IPA beer, smooth and tasty. An excellent choice repeated.

There was lots of parking and plenty of room for all of the snowmobiles, which was cool to see. We were greeted right away and sat ourselves in the bar area. The place was cozy and had a steady amount of business. We had a couple different waitstaff help us with our drink and food orders. My husband had the Classic Burger with fries. Very good, the cute moose stamped on the bun was cool. The fries are homemade and delicious. The battered onion rings were THE BEST I ever had-so good! I had the chili which wasn't very hot temperature-wise but pretty tasty. If we ever get back this way-maybe the summer for atving-I would definitely come back to this place.

Smelled of stale beer and was very dark. Decided to give it another try and so glad we did! The place was bright, clean, and friendly. The bartender was attentive and informed us that it was buy 1, get the second for $1! While we didn't eat there, the food that came out looked delicious. Worth the stop and will go back the next time we're in Colebrook!

Mainly buffalo chicken cut up inside the wrap but also lettuce and possibly some blue cheese. The chips and pickle on the side were good too. I also ordered a large garden salad ($9) that was decent. My buddy got homemade chicken tender dinner ($16) plate. I could tell he was bummed the order only comes with 3 tenders. He said they were very good tho and the light breading was like a shell on the chicken. His side salad was small but he enjoyed it. The fries looked good. His mom got the cheeseburger medium rare and it was well done. She ate it but said thats typical of Wilderness. Overall a pretty decent option to get a bite to eat with limited choices nearby. The waitresses are friendly and the drinks are cold.

Along with the lodge/cabin/rental properties on Back Lake, they also have an outrageously good restaurant on site that goes by the name 'The Rainbow Grille'. A recent stay at a lodge/cabin business in Belgrade Lakes region of Maine made me realize what a great value and well run facility Tall Timber is. From the time you pull into the parking area, the well cared for grounds show that they care about the details. The staff is always pleasant and welcome you as one of the family especially when returning year after year. We've always stayed in one of their pet-friendly lakeside cabins in the summer months. The cabins are well cared for and always in good repair. They are well furnished with well-appointed kitchens with cookware & dining ware. Cable TV and internet access is available in the cabin as well. There is no AC but have never had the need for anything more than the provided fans. We always bring our boat with us. They have a public launch on the lake as well as a launch right at the lodge. The docks do not have dedicated shore power but can accommodate plugging in to charge batteries. They also have a small fleet of rental boats as well as a rental pontoon. Pub-style Take-out food is also available from the onsite bar-grille. If you are looking for a relaxing back woods vacation that has all the comforts you need and none that you don't, you need to check this place out. Their website has more info than I could place here. This place is awesome.

Food was served hot & tasty. BLTs, burgers, and a HUGE California Club sandwich. Bill with drinks for a party of four under 35 dollars. Establishment was clean with plenty of seating, TVs, huge parking lot, fully stocked bar, free WiFi out in the middle of NOWHERE. What more do you want off the trail? I agree the campsites didn't seem "private". Doesn't take away from the fact the owners & employees deliver and support the powersport industry. I give 5 stars.

It was closed for quite awhile due to staffing shortages, we were told. Drove over 30 miles to get here, as it is out in the middle of nowhere. We parked near the building in the shade, as we had a dog with us. The prices were crazy high and menu was crazy small. After ordering, I went out to move our vehicle to in front of the entrance, after another vehicle had left, so we could keep an eye on the pup. When I came back in, the $8 French fries (dry and hard) had just been brought to the table, and I was informed by the owner (I think) that I had to move the vehicle. The place was empty, and no other cars in sight. She argued with when I protested. So, for a large salad (it was good) and fries (we split both) and one soda, it came to $30. We left a 5 cent tip. Not worth the drive.

The Good: *First of all, our server (don't recall his name older white gentleman) was amazing; friendly, funny, and on-point. *Outdoor seating with views of Rangeley Lake. I'm not sure if it's dog-friendly but nothing in this town seemed to be. *Full bar with local craft brews on-tap *Haddock Cakes app (also available as a meal) were fantastic; crispy exterior and nice well-cooked interior full of fish and no fillers. The concomitant Chipotle remoulade was fantastic, as well. *Carissa loved her Beet Salad and the addition of grilled chicken was a good call for some extra protein. *I decided on the Lobster Roll and it was a good call. The bun was soft but had a nice crispy exterior and the lobster was cooked perfectly. The fries were also really, really good and fresh. This definitely made up for the shitty lobstah roll I had a few days earlier . The Meh: *Interior isn't as nice as the outside area, as it seemed a bit cramped and dark for our liking. *Two unisex restrooms, but they're both "one-man shows." The Ugly: *Lobster Rolls come either buttered (Connecticut-style) or with Mayo (Maine-style) but they were out of my preferred Connecticut-style at the time of our visit. :( Conclusion: This was by-far our favorite meal in our time in Rangeley, as they had everything one could want from great service, delicious food, and views for days. Highly recommended.
