Everything. Service was great, friendly, prices were good. Parking on the street was convenient and not a issue.

Smelled of stale beer and was very dark. Decided to give it another try and so glad we did! The place was bright, clean, and friendly. The bartender was attentive and informed us that it was buy 1, get the second for $1! While we didn't eat there, the food that came out looked delicious. Worth the stop and will go back the next time we're in Colebrook!

Mainly buffalo chicken cut up inside the wrap but also lettuce and possibly some blue cheese. The chips and pickle on the side were good too. I also ordered a large garden salad ($9) that was decent. My buddy got homemade chicken tender dinner ($16) plate. I could tell he was bummed the order only comes with 3 tenders. He said they were very good tho and the light breading was like a shell on the chicken. His side salad was small but he enjoyed it. The fries looked good. His mom got the cheeseburger medium rare and it was well done. She ate it but said thats typical of Wilderness. Overall a pretty decent option to get a bite to eat with limited choices nearby. The waitresses are friendly and the drinks are cold.

Before heading to Beaver Brook Falls, we decided to find some lunch and discovered Grampy's next to the IGA grocery store. It looked like a fun spot so decided to check it out. Grampy's is definitely simple. It is essentially a big trailer for the kitchen and order taking with a covered outdoor patio for eating. They focus on sandwiches, burgers, and hot dogs, though they have other options as well. I went with one of their Overstuffed Grinders: Sweet Italian Sausage with Peppers and Onions. I didn't order fries but my son did, so I decided just to have a few of his. I had also read about the fried dough so got an order of that, too. The "grinder" really wasn't a grinder, at least not by my definition, but rather a hot sandwich on a hoagie style roll. The sausage had a good flavor but wasn't exceptional, but the bell pepper and onion was done quite nicely. It was a good sized sandwich and definitely didn't skimp on either the sausage or the veggies. The fries had a wonderful flavor and tasted fresh cut. The fried dough was delicious and was nice and fluffy on the outside and more dense in the middle, kind of like an elephant ear. There was powdered sugar, cinnamon, and syrup at the condiments table so you could sweeten up the dough any way you wanted. They also offered all the typical condiments, including hot sauce, for the grinders, dogs, and burgers. We didn't get dessert, but they had a number of ice cream options as well! The setup is simple, but on a beautiful day sitting outside is quite delightful, making it feel like we were at a picnic. Almost every table, including the condiments table, had a push bottle of hand sanitizer, so though I couldn't use running water I was able to get my hands clean. The bathroom is a port a potty, but they didn't seem to see much use and were actually quite clean. Grampy's was a fun stop and a great lunch spot. The food wasn't amazing, but it was good and tasty. It seemed a bit pricey, but the portions were pretty large, so I really couldn't complain. If you are looking for a good and easy lunch stop while hiking in the area, Grampy's is a great option!

So off to the Littleton Diner we went instead! (Our local pal Gregory confirmed that brand-new Lincoln Diner is *very good* and extremely popular, so hopefully I get to try it eventually!) Things turned out for the best however - no wait here, our favorite booth available and I got some blueberry coffee and a delicious 5-cheese omelette - I think it was my first time trying an omelette here, and it was *great*! Super loaded with cheese and the eggs were perfectly fluffy. Prices have gone up soooo much since I started coming here two decades ago... but still worth every penny!

How can you expect people from out of town to just know your menu when placing a to go order? If certain things don't come in dishes anymore maybe update the menu posted on your website, don't expect customers to just know your menu and be respectful when you talk to them. You don't make the feel smaller then you and an inconvenience! Bad attitude doesn't want people to ever come back. Finally got all our food and in the omelette I ordered no olives in were definitely a load of black olives. Turkey was bland, dry, pretty sure was sitting in a hot pan for days just drying out. The turkey, stuffing, mashed, gravy all tasted the exact same BLAND AND NO FLAVOR. Even if the food was food I'd never come back because of the rude staff. Don't work in customers if you hate talking to them!!!
