Got a couple of gigantic muffins through the window. I was really looking forward to my "blueberry lemon poppyseed muffin". I assumed it was a lemon poppyseed muffin cooked with blueberries in it. Alas it was not. It was a blueberry muffin (not my fave) with lemon poppyseed icing on the top. It was weird and was more like cake. The attendant and dog were really nice though! I will have to go back for a sandwich. read more

The muffins are good. Breakfast sandwiches ok. Everything is WAY over priced and service was iffy. One person was kind and helpful. The girl at the window was snippy and miserable but then again the window was covered in negative falsehoods so I guess that was to be expected. Such a cute little place! My friend and I stayed in the area while doing some hiking and decided to try this local place on the way out. So glad we did! It's just a drive thru, and they have much more than muffins! We got a bagel sandwich, bagel and cream cheese, a muffin and iced coffee and everything was tasty. The young guy at the window was very friendly and patient as we had no idea what we wanted to try. If I ever find myself in the area again I would definitely go back! read more

If you're in the mood for a sweet and sugary muffin look no further than this place. This is a drive-through only establishment, but the muffins are worth the wait. I highly recommend going as early as you can because they do run out fast. My favorite is their blueberry muffins. They are just out of this world. read more

I dragged my husband and in-laws here, after reading positive reviews, for breakfast on a July Sunday morning. When we walked in and saw all of the muffins, whoopie pies, cinnamon buns, my heart momentarily fell, as both my husband and father-in-law are diabetic, and those are not acceptable as breakfast fare, but the owners quickly told us about the breakfast sandwiches. All of us got breakfast sandwiches, standard meat, egg, & cheese combos, but the biscuits they were served on transported the standard to an amazing melt-in-your-mouth breakfast sandwich. My husband and I each got muffins. They were both wonderful -the right denseness, the right sweetness. Just great! We ate in the little tearoom off to the side, which was beautifully decorated in a fairy/nature theme. We didn't feel stuffed after breakfast, but it tided us over until dinner time. I will definitely return. I just wish I could remember their hours, as I did try to go back again, but they were closed! read more

Originally born in NH but moved to the west coast, I found this place down the road from where we were stayin and heard great reviews from family that it was the spot for good breakfast sandwiches and muffins a few years back. Little did I know I would be gaining 10lbs in my week visit b/c I just fell in love this place and would hobble my way over for a "walk". The couple that runs this is as friendly as can be and the decor is friendly and enchanting, with fairies all around. The delicious aroma fills the air as you walk in and the choices of muffin combinations is nowhere like I've had, even though I live in fancy pants LA. Even days after hoarding some and bringin them back with me to California, they were still fresh, how they do this I don't know. The breakfast sandwiches were damn good and I would recommend any visitor to stop here to make their visit it is worth the trip and Colebrook's best kept secret. Even if i'm not able to make it back to NH, I still have family bring me back the muffins, and guess what, they are still great!!! read more
