I have been eating at the tradewinds buffet for 10 years. I get in at least once or twice a year. The highlight was the prime rib as it was fresh cut, hot and tender. The smoked chicken was great too. Beyond those two items everything else including the deserts where pre frozen. I came in at 5:15 pm on Saturday and the food was the worst it's been. The brisket was not fresh, was cold and was pre cut in an open tray, dark gray in color, no smoking or bark. It was not chewable even though it was cut really thin. Most of the other food was cold and some of the pie was still frozen and was not thawed properly. The servers looked confused and were not organized, especially when directing large crowds of people. This caused the line to build up and those with reservations still had to wait. For these reasons and the increase in cost I could not recommend this buffet unless improvements are made. read more

Crab is good, price is outrageous and the remain food is good but very minimal. No idea who thought almost doubling the price of the buffet is a great idea. Food is a loss leader to get people to gamble. The way this is designed you won't be getting any extra gamblers and will be losing a lot of people already in your casino. They won't even be able to do the buffet unless you have a reservation. Don't get me wrong I love the reservation rather than the 300 people wrapped around the casino. You won't have that now anyway.
