I think this may be one of the smallest Trader Joe's in the area. It has a shared parking lot with other businesses in the shopping area which includes a Starbucks. Good luck finding a spot. Large metered public parking lot across the street for all businesses in Riviera Village. Meters take coins or credit cards and the minimum time is 1 hour. $1.50/ hr 5/26/24. Ahem. Sundays the Riviera Village Farmers' Market. Ok bye.

Trader Joe's in Redondo Beach is located inside a very small plaza that has a small parking lot to park in. I felt like this entire parking lot looked overcrowded at the time I went and it wasn't even on a weekend. The inside of this Trader Joe's is what you would see typically and overall I did find a few goodies to enjoy. I bought some tasty snacks and also some drinks for the road. The place is stocked well and overall I'm sure you'll be able to find your grocery items to cook up a nice dinner!

I love walking to this Trader Joe's location in Redondo Beach near my house. They have everything and have recently increased their produce. I love their healthy frozen food options as well as their protein selections.

This is a convenient location with everything you need in a Trader Joe's store that you'd expect. The service, as always is very friendly. Parking was easy for me in the morning, but I can see where it could be harder later in the day. The have lots of good packaged food items which are unique to Trader Joes and the TJ branded items are high quality.

Now, TJs is mainstream and does not operate as uniquely but the products they sell are still great, many of which are unique.

The service at this one is just great. They know where everything is and will help you. The lines can get long, but it moves fast. The entire staff is nice. Their selection of products is great. I don't care for their cheap wine, but every thing else is great. I love their frozen section and they have a good vegan section as well. Their produce is good. Their prices are fair. My daughter saw some lovely flowers, so fresh, and bought me some. I love them. They smell great. If you can get there early in the morning the parking is not so bad and after dark it is okay. It is a really nice store.

You can't back out of your spot. The drivers in the parking lot can be aggressive, but not where near Costco levels. I really wish they would move to an option to not get a printed receipt. It is just a cost for them to buy the paper. I am sure that is passed to us. The receipt just ends up in the trash. We are paying for trash. I mention the idea to the workers every time I check out and they always remark that they wish it was possible too. It is possible. They just need to do it.

Wow!!! Recently came here because my friends took me and I was super happy to finally shop here!!!…read moreThis is apparently the largest Japanese market in Gardena (and all of California). It's a very big store that somehow doesn't look as big from the outside, but there are so many things to highlight from here. We were in a city nearby but decided to stop by here because my friends wanted to buy some ingredients. This store was a delight for me as it was so big!!! My favorite section was the many Japanese merchandise of clothes, plushes, and desserts!!! It was super tempting to not buy something haha and I ended up grabbing the box of iconic mango ice cream popsicles!!! It was super yummy and was to my full liking. We ate it straight from the box because we didn't want it to melt in the car ride home. It was super refreshing and delicious. Other highlights was the hot foods bar and lots of Japanese beauty products.

Some are decently priced and some are on the pricier side…read more If you go at 7pm or latter they do mark down the sushi and other premade food by 20% off. The thing that's good about going to Tokyo central for premade sushi is that they make all their sushi fresh daily and what's not sold is marked down and got rid of before next day compared to other markets where they sell their sushi that's like 2-4 days old. They went viral for awhile for having a hot food bar, which looked like a buffet but in reality you grab what you want but it's $15.99 a pound. The pound adds up really quick and you end with paying like $30. The food isn't that great in the hot food bar in my option so I'd skip it. The market itself is very pricey it's not a cheap market. So if your planning on buying grocery your gonna pay high prices. I'd go here for a quick sushi roll or some mochi they sell a bag from Japan for $3.99 with red bean that's pretty good. One of my favorite food item is the umami chicken karage with rice that's pre packaged and if you can snag it while it's still hot that great. Its usually on a separate table on in the refrigerated section, It's the one with some teriyaki sauce over it, not the regular one. As you exit you can grab utensils, napkins, wasabi. ginger, soy sauce. Parking is a hit and miss, it's a popular market if you go there at lunch time it's packed or weekends. Personally I drop by to get a quick bite, sushi roll or chicken karage . They do have a food court that has a Japanese bakery, takoyaki , a katsu place. Upstairs they have a sushi bar which is unique I havnt tried it but seems a bit pricey but looks like quality. Looking for something Japanese in food wise, this would be one of the places to go to look for it. I don't know why it seems like every Asian market I've been to is so cramped and hardly any space when trying to get around with a cart. It's the same here.t

Somewhere in between the Korean Friendship Bell and Korea Town in Los Angeles, but not exactly right next to either. My goal was to go check out Erewhon and all the smoothies and artisanal popcorn that celebrities and food influencers rave about online, but the Torrance H-Mart was an interesting destination in itself. I had to really restrain myself from buying everything that I wanted. I ultimately bought: 1. The Hojicha Tea Black Chocolate from Japan (the brand is Meiji) 2. The Green KitKats (Extra Matcha Tea Chocolate from Japan). 3. The Hanyul Hand Cream (I bought three - Chrysanthemum, Artemisia, and Ja Cho). They smell amazing and keep my hands moisturized. Southern California is so dry compared to Northern California. Ja Cho is Lithospermum Erythrorhizon root extract. 4. The Innisfree Green Tea face mask. 5. The Esfolio Volcanic Ash face mask. It's perfect for dry skin, and creates a healty glow. I asked the lady working there if the Volcanic Ash was from Jeju Island. She had no idea. I bought it anyway because it sounded interesting. 6. The Innisfree Volcanic Clay Mask. I know for a fact that this clay is sourced from Jeju Island, and I've been buying this product for years. Cleans up the sporadic acne flare up fast! It's perfect for combination skin without drying skin too much. They have vegan jerky, Sriracha mayo, and Kimchee Ketchup. I can buy that at any H-Mart, I think, so I didn't buy any of that.
