(I don't have a long list that I've visited yet) It's quite refreshing actually, to see a coffee shop that's PURELY specialty coffee. No frills or thrills, just traditional basics done well. Decor is great. I tried the emerald series espresso as a flat white (two of them) which is marketed as rare and exotic. I didn't want to read much too much into it at the moment. I was just wanting my caffeine fix. Both together came out to around $17 (oof!) They at least handed us 2 oz samples of coffee. Presentation of the drinks were done well. You can tell that they really care about the craft because we were waiting unnecessarily long on a slow day. I over heard a 'How did that pull?' while waiting. I appreciate the care.

The place is ever so cute. It is spotless. The service is great. Even the robot is adorable. We love their Mango mango and all of their lattes are great. Their espresso is perfect. I wish it was open a bit later. We often end up there near closing. But it is one of our favorite coffee shops in the South Bay. It is fun, the prices are fair and again, they have a robot. They also didn't fill the entire cup with ice which is good. They filled it about a quarter of the cup. Interior is spacious, have tables, they have a corner closed off for employees only. It's a coffee roaster(?). They sell bags of coffee so I assume it's a roaster. My only complaint if I have any, is that for my iced mocha, I didn't see any straws anywhere. I saw lids, wooden stirs, but no straws.

I was a little concerned that this drink might be too sweet, but I was glad when I tasted it, and the brown sugar was not super overpowering. That is one thing I love about the coffee shops in Gardena is that they do not overly sweeten their drinks, even when it has something like brown sugar in it.
