I love this store but my husband and I went in this morning and did not feel safe. They have 2 large signs outside about mask requirements and one showing the proper way to wear it. There was a couple in there wearing their masks under their noses and when the man spoke to his wife he pulled down his mask. We pointed it out to a clerk who just said oh and walked away. What is the point of even having a sign of you don't care enough to enforce it? We went in with the expectation that people would be wearing masks correctly and if not an employee would remind them. I understand some employees are being confronted by obnoxious customers who think the rules don't apply to them. However a manager could be called and they could be told unless they wore their masks as stated on the front of the store-they were not welcome to shop. Bullies should not be allowed to get their way at the expense of those of us who do follow the rules. read more

Very friendly staff and a clean store. Great organics and healthy all natural eats. Good wine and beer selection as well.

This is the TJ's that is closest to our house, so it's the one I go to regularly. The staff is aces, always helpful, and the stock is totally on point! Watch for snowbirds during the cooler months as they are usually pretty rude, (don't hold doors, cram in front of your cart, don't watch/care where they're driving, etc.) The only other downside to this TJ's location is the parking lot, which is a maze of bizarre proportions. read more

The best part is Sprouts is now next to them so each time i go in and they refuse to hire enough people to take care of the CUSTOMERS that make them their money, i will go next door. Matter of fact, i think i will now continue to go to Sprouts. read more

Love Trader Joe's! They have great prices and delicious food! I really like that the store is small, which makes it easy to find my way around. I find stores like Super-Walmarts are just overwhelming and exhausting. Trader Joe's is definitely my favorite place to grocery shop. I also love that you don't have to unload your groceries on a belt at checkout. It's really nice not having to do that extra step. I just wish there was one closer to my house. I don't go as often as I would like cause it is a little bit of a drive. read more

THE best; most friendly, helpful, happy associates ever! Seriously LOVE these people and my Trader Joe's

Everyone that I know will tell you that I do not miss an opportunity to rave about Trader Joe's and my everlasting love for the store. I am a nursing student and TJs has been a lifesaver. They have a ton of prepackaged or frozen items that allow us to get a full, healthy meal on to the table in 10 minutes. The best part is that we can do this without spending any more money than I would shopping elsewhere for the ingredients for 30-60 minute meals. There has only been one thing we've tried from TJs that we didn't love out of dozens of items. Not to mention, the staff is amazing. I have really high standards when it comes to service and I have never once been anything but pleased with every single staff member I've met. I love this place. read more

I enjoy Trader Joes no matter what city I'm in. I didn't like being asked if I could helped every time I was in a different isle. I'll be back for select items but they will not be my main grocer. read more

I love Trader Joe's, but this location is a mess! It's not by fault of the establishment, but the shoppers. It seems that every customer has a child, or four, and they're all pushing small carts and getting in everyone's way because the parents are too busy reading labels to watch them. Watch your kids, and if they repeatedly run into people with their tiny carts whilst screaming...... scold them, for Christ's sake! read more

I thought I was just unlucky. Bad check out experiences every time I come here. But today was exceptionally bad. No line control. No awareness of people waiting. As a grocery store I like it but I lose the will to live while waiting to pay. read more

I love this store. Its always filled with new and exciting things and new and exciting people. The last few times I have shopped here I have noticed a young man named Chase seemed to be very knowledgeable and friendly. I think Chase deserves a raise. He knows his way around and treats me like my business matters. You just don't get that anymore at the average grocery store. Thanks Chase for going above and beyond. It seems like a great place to work and that is reflected in Chases attitude and friendliness. read more

Trader Joe's is great. I love this one because the staff is REALLY friendly, and it never gets unbearably crowded. I've encountered a few situations where items which are regularly stocked staples were sold out, but all-in-all I've had numerous positive experiences here. One thing to keep in mind with any perishable products from Trader Joe's, is that since most of it is very natural food without extra preservatives, etc, is that it tends to expire quickly.. Be sure to check expiration dates before buying an item, and eat em up fast! :) read more

One of my favorite places to shop at! Their food is amazing and a lot of their stuff you can't find at your local grocery store. They have quality flower bouquets that are cheap. I love how they have little shopping carts so that your children won't be bored and can help you out. I obviously know that if I go on a weekend it will be busier than going on a weekday. It shouldn't be such a surprise since its like that everywhere else you go. read more

Trader Joe's my have I missed you. After buying two cases of two buck chuck (three now), I ventured around the store to reminisce of old times. read more

Trader Joe's is always a fun place to go with their assortment of items. This place has been crowded each time I came, but that is due to it being the only one around (live in east mesa). People are friendly and the food has always been fresh. read more

Everyone loves trader joes, including me. In fact I know where every product is located in their entire store. I'm like the Trader Joes tour guide for confused shoppers. I should just buy a Hawaiian shirt already. They've got affordable prices and most of the items you need in a grocery run. Their organic produce options are not crazy abundant, but they do exist. They've got great bagels, and prepared salads, and salsas and frozen dinners galore, and spreads and dips... And those dark chocolate peanut butter cups are the most delicious things ever. Almost everything is private labeled so it helps bring the prices down. You'll spend half the amount you would at Whole Foods. read more

I really dig the flower selection as well as all the healthy food choices. The store is always squeaky clean and fresh looking! Surprisingly enough, the only real set backs to the place are the people who shop there. I have seen unprovoked rude behavior in the parking lot, in the store, even in the check-out line. That obviously can't be blamed on the store and, sadly, is expected at a more expensive grocery store. Definitely my first stop when I need to cook for the family. read more

This is my favorite Trader Joe's store. Love the layout and the employees. It also helps that most of the gents that work here are very easy on the eyes. read more

I've been coming here for the past 6 years and I've only moved closer a year ago. I never want to move from my apartment just because of how close it is to this Trader Joe's! The absolute best, they always have the best products and great prices. There is always someone to help and always samples for new products and recipes. Can not say enough how great it is. I wish they would make chickpea puffs one day though. read more

Pretty much can't live without Trader Joe's. Only thing I don't buy there are bulk items and produce. They're so friendly and helpful. Always clean. Wide range of foods. read more

Who doesn't like old Trader J'S? Everything you buy here is pretty cool & tasty. The people are laid back and friendly and they always have samples of coffee and food. "SCORE!" If you don't remember to bring your own bags, they give you a thick nifty brown paper sack, that looks strong enough to hold a small sized child, to lug your goods home. I bet people have already started a PINTEREST board on Trader Joe's bag hacks. Let's not forget they provide little humans with shopping carts, I don't event have to push my own ish around. I must warn you the parking at this location is not fun. read more

I love this TJs! The staff is always friendly and they look like they genuinely enjoy their jobs! The manager, Lauren, is wonderful! We had a minor issue with a product and she fixed it immediately, with no hassles! The selection is great, and I can find affordable, healthy options! If you're careful about what you choose, a little bit of cash can go a long way here. read more

I shop at Trader Joe's at least once a week. When I'm in Tempe I go to the Trader Joe's on Mcklintock and in Mesa, the one on Gilbert. The employees at Gilbert and Baseline Trader Joes are super friendly and attentive to all the customers. They drop what they are doing to make sure the customer finds what they are looking for, or they look the product up to see when, or if it is on order. They are courteous helpful and personable right up to the checkout line. read more

Best food market store in Arizona very fresh and healthy food, very clean and very nice, we like all the food from trader joes everything is very tasty and delicious. read more

Great store for finding specialty items. They also have the cheapest prices I've seen for the energy bars I like. The only thing I wish they had more of is non-foods. Not a huge selection of soaps, shampoos, etc. Still have to go elsewhere for those. As with most specialty stores they are on the pricey side (other than the energy bars!), so I certainly can't do all my regular shopping there. read more

So bummed at the fact that I've already reviewed this under my other, forgotten password, screen name! Oh well. This TJ's is pretty nice. Large aisles and they're always cooking something delicious (not a bed of lettuce and a slice of sausage like the other one). My only suggestion(s): COME WITH A LIST! & don't come on a Sunday. It is always jammed packed with label reading customers that won't move out of the way! read more

Love Trader Joe's -- this location is nearest to me at 20 minutes away. We need more locations in the East Valley.

No matter where I am at I can always trust that I will have a fabulous TJ experience.

I went to this location around 5:30pm and it was an absolute mad house. People and carts everywhere, children crying and running around, employees stocking food on almost every aisle, super long lines to check out. Oh man I needed a paper bag to breathe in. Kind of expected that dinner/after work hour is gonna be crazy but my goodness. Everything I needed was available and it didn't take me long to navigate though the store to find. Same great prices and food (and samples) just don't come at dinner hour. read more

Today I went to TJ's not feeling well and trying to get better for a business trip on Monday. The cashier asked me how my day is going and I told him ok but I'm fighting a head cold. He gave me flowers and said I hope you feel better! That was so awesome! I love this Trader Joe's and I'm my sorry I didn't get the guys name but thank you! An act of kindness goes a long way and I will pay it forward! Already feeling better! read more

Hands down favorite place for our groceries. I love all the unique items that change, and the solid ones that I always go for! Prices are great! The sample area always has great ideas for meals. The frozen Indian food is bomb. All the staff has always been so friendly and helpful. read more

This Trader Joe's isn't quite as large as the one in Scottsdale but it still has a great assortment. Prices are always great and they have some seasonal stuff you can't find anywhere else. I like their Trader Joes brand tortilla chips and salsa. The wife loves the wine pricing! read more

Love this place! They offer a variety of organic foods and in Fall they have Pumpkin everything!

You have to try the barbecue chicken pizza and the Mochi ice cream! I haven't found anything at trader joes that I do not like! Great selection of unique items. Yum!!! Double yummmm!!! read more

Trader Joe's is my favorite place for grocery shopping. I have been a customer for many years and they get better every year. Products are fresh and they stand behind everything they sell. The staff is outstanding. I get so many meal ideas from the tastings they have. They make it easy when they have a tasting with all of the ingredients right there for you to grab. No matter what your question is, the staff has an answer. If that person does not have the answer they find someone that does. There is always a staff member available. The prices are great and they have many organic, gluten free and other options as well. read more

I love Trader Joes! I've been a loyal customer for years. I moved about a year ago from Irvine CA where I would go to Trader Joes EVERYDAY! I would get everything from Trader Joes because I lived right next to it. Now, I get to shop at Trader Joes over here in AZ. Not as fancy as CA but their is one employee that makes trader Trader Joes fun and we look forward to saying hi to him every time we go. His name is Cutter. Cutter is AWESOME! He's funny and makes the place shine! He is so good with customers and makes everyone feel like they have known him for years. Cutter you are AWESOME! I'm actually just writing this review because of him. Cutter is a star employee!!!! FIVE STAR THAT IS! :) read more

The place is nice. Has wide aisles which is nice for such a place with all the hoity toities that just have to stand around looking like they're reading labels (which of course they are). The parking lot kinda sucks...there doesn't seem to be a designated lot. My cashier was super friendly. Suggested a green juice that was cheaper than most. She was a Chatty Cathy and I'm sure the long line behind me didn't enjoy that, but eh, you don't get that sort of conversation from strangers much these days. read more

I love this place, been shopping here for years. Love the people and the samples!

We love this place! Their products are non-GMO, organic, and priced well. Best groceries, unique items, best customer service. The atmosphere is relaxed and the place is clean, everyone very helpful and they always have great samples with recipes to taste and make at home that will knock your socks off! read more
