When I was younger, I would buy shot glasses as a souvenir when I traveled. Now that I'm an old lady, I head to the nearest Trader Joe's to buy a state bag as my shot glass. I know I'm going to use them and they make perfect gifts for my friends and family. And they are too fun not to collect. Both of the Trader Joe's in my area are always crazy busy! It's honestly the most chaotic chore I do multiple times a week, grocery shopping. Walking into this store was the complete opposite. It's chill, calm and peaceful. I literally felt like I was dreaming. I can only imagine how easy it must be to stop in, not have anyone cut you off or fighting your way through a crowd of shoppers. The thought of just being able come for what you need and leave without it taking forever sounds magical. And shopping at this location made me think of all the fun possibilities! I'm sure I came at a slow time but a girl can dream. I grabbed a handful of bags and of course a Chantilly vanilla bean cake. My daughter was attending a concert at the Gillette stadium so I needed a treat to keep me company. Like every location I have been to, the gal that checked me out was really sweet. We chatted a bit about my bag collection. She told me about the plastic forks up up front for my cake. It was the sweetest and easiest transaction. This store was amazing! It's three times the size of ours and it was fun checking it out. My cake was great as always. You can never go wrong with the sheet cakes here. I got my bags all packed for my flight home. This is absolutely my favorite place to shop. My experience tonight was great! I got to talk to a really nice and funny staff member after I asked a question about a product. Then the cashier was so kind wishing me a great night and to have a safe drive home. That normally doesn't happen anymore and I greatly appreciate it. In fact it actually made my night. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The store is extremely clean and always fun to experience the revolving products. The only drawback is falling in love with one and not being able to get it again when they change out them out seasonally. read more

I love that Trader Joe's sells fruit by the piece. On a good day, you can get a nice big pear or apple for about $0.70. Can can weigh your fruit to see if the actual weight and you can determine if that is a good deal or not...I've found that in many cases, it is. The store was very well set up and organized. Just make sure you come over from the Bass Pro Shops side, not the stadium side because there are often events/employee parking that can be confusing. During a recent trip when it was really crowded, the indoor ventilation was surprisingly poor. I haven't been to this Trader Joe's in a longtime, it's still referred to as the preferred store in the region as it has the most accessible/has the least chaotic parking out of all the stores nearby locations. I love how well the murals have held up (I knew all of the muralist who created them). The store itself is quite large, clean, and spacious but it gets VERY crowded so go early. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful especially at the registers. The prices like all markets have certainly increased which certainly can effect what you buy, but you can definitely find some interesting/rare products at a decent prices. read more

I was so excited to shop at this TJs, not only because it's situated right next to Gillette Stadium (hello, NE Patriots!!) But because they have an entire alcohol section that neither of the RI locations have. Went in early afternoon on a Monday and luckily it wasn't too crowded so that was pretty awesome. The store was really nice, well stocked and everything I hoped it would be. The liquor department was impressive to say the least. Perfect variety on everything. Beer that you know and love plus local craft, TJs own brand etc. So much wine..like soo much. Finally got my hands on the infamous "2 buck chuck" which I haven't tried yet but it looks good. Nice little selection of all the hard liquor you need also..tequila, vodka, whiskey..the essentials. I definitely had fun shopping around at this Trader Joe's and of course I'll be back. Taking away one star because the cashier overloaded my bags like way too much.. multiple glass bottles in one with some food items spilling on top..like why do me like that?! This was my first time in Trader Joe's shopping for groceries and I can positively say I was more than satisfied with their products and service. First things first, they have COVID precautions in place. They have a line outside to let customers enter one by one as and when there's availability in the store, masks are compulsory and they disinfect the shopping carts after use. That being said, once you're inside the store, you'd be amazed at the colorful theme going on inside. The store was colorful, the shelves were popping with different items and their color coded packaging and everything is eye popping in here. Trust me, you have to be inside to experience this phenomenon. Esthetics aside, the store has a strong selection of products to offer from dairy to meat and fresh produce to liquor. Everything in the store is well organized, the staff is friendly and you'd always find the items that you want. They also have a good selection of beer and wine if you're into it. There's something about this store that makes you want to come back and shop again. From their warm behavior to the friendly staff, the esthetically pleasing indoors to the well laid out isle. We have always loved Trader Joe's. Great selection of organic, ready to eat and gluten free- and their brand liquors. Super friendly staff and overall great experience every time- no matter how insanely busy the store (rightfully) gets. Today set our experience apart. Somehow another customer took my mothers groceries. Assuming it was picked up by mistake- or loaded by the cashier behind my mothers into another customers cart.. we aren't totally sure what happened at checkout . A few employees went running outside to see if they could catch the person- but it was too late. Caroline took my mothers receipt and ran the store and picked all her items while she waited. She was so sweet and apologetic- we understand things happen but Caroline made even this a pleasure ale experience. One of my favorite TJ's location in my travel radius. This is worth the extra few minutes of travel for the large wine, beer and even modest hard liquor section. Staff is always friendly, helpful and stocking shelves. I really appreciate that every Trader Joe's strictly follow COVID safety protocols and seems to genuine care for the wellbeing of their staff and customers. Really nice store with great organic and fresh products. The isles are not that wide ,but they are organized . They have a wine isle and beer if you need it ! The fruit selection was good and fair pricing . Basically any grocery item you need is here ,but organic/ gluten free mostly . The only gripe I had at this particular store was that my husband and I are a mixed couple and the stares we got was insane. My husband felt uncomfortable where he decided to step outside at one point . My go to place for wine.. I don't go here for groceries but I do make the trip for wine. Great prices whether by the bottle or case. I generally cook with white or red wine so I get a case of each to cut down trips and take advantage of case pricing. They do have a lot of pricier wines and several types. My wife enjoys one of the peach flavored, great to drink chilled or as a base for sangria. RI grocery stores are not allowed to sell alcohol, but that's a separate issue. Trader Joe's is my favorite chain market and I am so SO glad that one has opened within 15miles of me! *good for: frozen meals&desserts, basic ingredients, interesting flavor selection on chicken/chicken sausage, a pretty damn decent selection of cheese (even vegan cheese) *fanTASTic for: trail mix, tempeh (2$ a pack), tofu (flavor selections, "meat" options), chai mix (and PUMPKIN chai mix), alcohol selection (same price or better than liquor stores), cereal selection for crunchy granola types, low-cal/vegan ice cream treats *NOT so good for: super savings/coupons (though they do have a monthly flier with deals and recipes), a vast selection of fresh produce (they have your basics, but if you need a specific amount of a specific item that isn't a generic salad ingredient/apple/orange/19c banana then head to the giant markets) *NEVER EVER EEEVVVERRRRR try to go during Patriot's home games (you'll get stuck in traffic limbo and it is doubtful that you will even get close enough to LOOK for parking), OR on a Sunday afternoon (every time I've tried at this location I've been faced with each register being at least 5 carts long). There are items I plan to buy specifically ONLY at TJ's (like vegan ice cream sandwiches, chai tea mix, high fiber cereal, carbonated water, and of COURSE....3buck Chuck/vino!), and there are times when I know that I'll need to hit TWO markets in order to get everything I need (plastic wrap/swiss chard/self-rising flour, etc). Bring your ID (they've carded people in their 70s buying wine), and bring your patience (a lot of roamers not looking where they're going). Opened 9/7/12!! This store is larger, easier to get to, and has more parking then most Trader Joe's. The isles are spaced out nicely and free samples can be found in the back of the store. They have a large wine selection and they also stock craft beer. The orange chicken in the frozen food isle taste like it came from a restaurant. One of the better Trader Joe's I've been in. The check-out staff are friendly, helpful, and pleasant, often smiling or saying thank you or you are welcome when you are kind to them. The parking lot is spacious and safe. A contrast to stores such as Framingham where the check-out staff are negative and unfriendly. I will drive out of my way to visit this store. I wish they would be much more careful about toxic ingredients like heavy metals and pesticides which have increasingly been found in their products. But that is becoming a standard part of due diligence one faces in consuming foods for most suppliers in the US these days. read more

I liked this TJ's - the usual incredible customer service that they strive for, plus some wide-open aisles. That still didn't do a whole lot to stem the tide of swarming, overflowing carts! One or two sample tasters in the back of the store - the prepared food was a lot smaller I thought, than the one in Hanover. The frozen food aisle yielded the french ham & caramelized onion pizza that I could live on but no boxes of shrimp tempura. Maybe they were just over shopped because I couldn't find a few other standbys that I always go for, including sourdough bread. Seems like a weird place to put this TJ's and the other retail box stores there but hey - in and out in 20 minutes including walking through the parking lot, and you can't beat that! read more

Warning: I am a Trader Joe's fan! I am so happy that Trader Joe's has finally opened in Foxboro! I usually go to the one in Warwick, RI - but the Foxboro store is easier for me to get to AND it sells beer and wine! Half of my family cannot eat anything with nitrates or MSG, and TJ's is one of the few grocery stores that doesn't sell anything with either of those ingredients. I can get my teenage sons healthy, easy to make frozen snacks that won't cause allergic reactions and won't break the bank! The staff, like at all TJs, is very friendly. WARNING: it is a very busy store on the weekend. The cashier said to come during the week, but we haven't had a chance to try that out yet. As a craft beer shopper, I appreciate the fact you can mix-a-six with anything and the price is still the same per can. They carry a good selection from the breweries they have deals with (night shift, jack's abby, allagash) and they have an amazing deal on Farm Island organic IPA, which I think is an exclusive of theirs contract-brewed in Portland, for like $6. But really, it's all about the wine. Wine prices in RI are high, and most stores are small with not great selection. TJs is like another world, huge selection of lots of great everyday wines, lots of them exclusives, for literally half what you would pay in a typical RI liquor store.
