It's not the more glamorous Wegs in the state. It doesn't have a parking garage like Burlington. It doesn't have the extensive prepared foods selection that other locations like Medford. It doesn't have the square footage that Northborough has. But it has everything you need to get the proper Wegs experience. This location is still rather large, especially for a supermarket. You can find an extensive cheese department, along with wines and beers. Like most Wegs, you'll find that the essentials are quite affordable. Even organics are decently priced. You'll run into a little trouble with prepared foods if you're on a budget, though. At one point, their hot food bar was more pricey that Whole Foods. The dining section is clean and well-lighted. It's a decent place to meet up. Service is generally friendly here though I don't really need to seek out help, other than at the check-out counter or customer service. Usually though experiences have been positive. The major advantage is that Wegs is open until midnight, which is great for those that want a less crowded shopping experience (clutch during the pandemic). read more

Disappointed in Wegmans.... Placed a cake order for my son's 6th birthday. I called to confirm specifics on the cake design, and submitted two weeks in advance. 24 hours before pickup time, I received a confirmation email/reminder to pick up the cake. 12 hours before pickup, at 9PM, I received a call saying they could not make the cake design, and cited a copy right issue. Wegmans had no response to me asking why I was informed so late, and no response to me that I previously called to confirm they could do this cake. Honestly, leaving me to try to fix my 6 year olds birthday cake for his party with less than 10 hours before the party should be zero stars... read more

Our second Wegmans on this trip and this one was just as awesome. I am looking forward to seeing Wegmans open in Charlotte in 2026! Clean, bright, well stocked and with absolutely everything. A huge selection of grab-and-go and heat-and-eat options, which is precisely what we needed today as we head to the Airbnb and need dinner. I heard so many good things about Wegmans from co-workers that live closer to it, I I decided to check it out. It's definitely nice, but didn't live up to the hype. Solid Wegmans, all the basics and the generic Wegmans brands, fruit was solid (had some satsuma oranges which were very good). They were cleaning up a spill in an aisle and could've used some signs (almost ran over a broken bottle in the cart). Wing bar was a little dry after 7p so I'd go earlier if possible, but the hot bar food was so-so. And they have a lot of good desserts. Produce was solid. Big parking lot. Definitely a place to avoid - Wegmans is more expensive than other area markets by a significant amount, the store layout is cluttered intentionally to make entering and exiting or navigating the produce area a constant traffic jam. This location has become our go to especially late night haha. Easy parking, everything always seems orderly and clean here. I like going at night to avoid the crowd. We usually grab fresh fruits, veggies and whatever recipe we are trying to make for the week. The prices aren't the cheapest but the quality to us usually comes thru. Do check the fruits though before checking out to make sure you don't have a bad container with bunch of debris, dried bugs or over ripened fruit. Workers are usually always nice in general, they have hot foods, bakery, pizza, sushi and more during the day, ample area to do some work and eat if you wish. Wegmans is one of my favorite grocery store to go to! I love that they are open late (until 12am every day) and have everything I need. All of their produce is always fresh and does not disappoint. They have a great bakery section, as well, and I suggest trying one of their pizzas. The Wegmans brand products are lovely alternatives that are also worth trying too and is usually just as great as the brand name products. I love that Wegmans is open late because it really is every other day that I find a recipe to try at 11pm and most of the markets closer by to me are closed. We needed to order pizza and wings for 40 people(Teenager Softball players and parents) in short notice due to storms rolling in. We had planned on cooking out but the weather did not cooperate. Instead we called around and small pizza places could not meet our needs. On a whim, we called Wegmans since we don't have a Wegmans in the Albany NY region. I spoke with the pizza department. Not only was Jennifer helpful, she was able to meet our needs in 90 minutes that included Four 32 cut square pizzas and 100 wings. When we came by to pick up the pizzas and wings it was waiting on a cart for us with both Blue Cheese and Ranch. The service was amazing. When we asked the Players and Parents their thoughts on the food, we were pretty amazed how much they enjoyed it. We would use Wegmans again for sure!!! read more

Wegmans uses Instacart for customer deliveries, which, in and of itself, makes it a grocery to be avoided, since Instacart has become a disreputable entity: authorizing charges "in case" customer decides to add items to already-placed orders, ignoring customer-requested timeframes--e.g., if you ask for a delivery window of between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., shopper will begin shopping immediately after order is placed, e.g., at 8:30 a.m., and consequently, following very questionable food-safety practices, since, by disregarding timeframes, individual shoppers may be driving around in their personal vehicles with your perishable items for hours, waiting for the beginning of your requested delivery window. Wegmans itself has a major problem with showing items on its website as "in stock" when in fact the items aren't available. I've been wanting to visit a Wegmans for a long time. That sounds so dorky, but I have a thing for grocery stores that are outside of the typical chains. They always have great hot bars and a large selection of desserts. Wegmans did not disappoint. I came in looking to get some bakery items and a sampling of the hot bar. It was a Saturday afternoon so it was a bit busy. However, the place is so large that it wasn't terrible. Their bakery items are quite pricey, as is their hot bar. However, the actual grocery items seemed reasonably priced. I would definitely come back for the bakery and hot bar because everything I tried was delicious. I appreciate that it's among other stores so it's a convenient trip when you have to run other errands. The parking lot is a nightmare but that's to be expected in such a high-traffic area. Cheese selection is so amazing, although pricier than Trader Joe's. Try Gjeitost or 'Geitost' (pronounced 'Yay-Toast'), the national cheese of Norway. It is delicious with a salty, caramel taste that reminds me a little of Mexican cajeta. Apparently, in Norway they eat it for breakfast, but we enjoyed it before dinner with crackers. Good stuff! I am rarely in this area, but I passed by early in the morning and decided to wait out the traffic for an hour by going to Target and picking up some favorites in here. Everything was clean, organized and really well stocked, the ladies room was clean as well (that is a HUGE pet-peeve of mine) and they had my favorite item in stock: their own brand of frozen blueberries. I am writing specifically about the Westwood store's bakery and deli. The bakery sells stale bread. I was informed of that on Sunday morning by one of the bakery staff. They claim it is freshly baked, but I was told that if you shop before 9 am you are buying day-old bread. What is not sold to you or me by 9 am is donated. The quality of the bread is now indistinguishable from the so-called "baguette" you'd get at Stop & Shop, with the thin, pale crust and stale, dry interior, that they bake "fresh" from "frozen". What a bummer. Regarding the deli: whomever is now in charge of the deli either has no training in how to slice deli meats or does not care about how to slice deli meats. If you want them sliced thinly, as most people do, be sure and request that they do and then watch them and ask for a sample. Otherwise you'll get home with hunks of prosciutto, ham, or turkey, instead of the slices you ordered. And warning, unless you prefer your deli-cuts thickly sliced, avoid the pre-sliced packages; even if they do fold the slices kind of pretty. I will no longer buy anything from the bakery or the deli. It's very disappointing. I'll be looking for a local replacement, Costco and Market Basket is too inconvenient, and will report back on this site when I find one. read more

Personal highlights include great bagel choices, all the soy/fake meat products I like, good sushi, good hot bar and a nice experience inside the store as well. Hot bar faves include the mac and cheese, noodles and shrimp dishes in the Asian section, spring rolls, basically any of the veggies, and today I had a kale and quinoa cake which was definitely better than expected. Ever since this place opened near us, we shop there weekly. The quality of the vegetables and the food are good while not expensive. Better than other local supermarkets. Not the best but good for what you pay. Their coffee is also very good and their prepared food is excellent. I also love shopping there with instacart where I just choose what I need and go stop in the area they have for pickups and they bring the shopping right out to the car. For those that argue that they like to check their own vegetables, I say, do that but just choose all the stuff you do not need to check like paper/plastic products, sodas and other things you may need on a weekly basis but dont need to check and just choose your own vegetables. But I will mention that we have shopped vegetables many times and they have never selected bad quality ones and once they even messaged me on the app to tell me that the normal variety did not look that good and if I wanted to substitute with their organic that cost only a few dollars more but looked a lot better. Of course that depends on the person selecting your vegetables, but its nice to know those shoppers are part of their team. Another thing I love about this place is their large cafe area where you can eat their prepared food at. We even host our board game meetups there twice a month on Thursdays and it great. You can eat there before you start gaming and when you are done around 930ish go shopping for anything you need at home like milk, etc. They even have a wine and beer section if you ever need for a visit to friends but I think that section may have slightly different hours. We literally drove an hour from NP, RI just to come to Wegmans . Sometimes you get sick of the same ole markets what can I say? Anyways, we totally wish we had a Wegmans in R.I.! The market was huge! I love trying different markets and stores and this place blows Stop and Shop and Shaw's out of the water. The prices are better and they have a ton more choices for groceries. We had just returned from a trip from Asia and were ecstatic to find Rambutans and Lychee fruits! Also love how the market has a liquor store. This Wegmans is in a fantastic location. Just about right off the highway and surrounded by lots of other stores including Marshals, Target, Home Goods etc. Parking lot is easy to get in and out of and it's a pretty big lot. They have a huge amount of food bars here. A salad bar that always has fresh lettuce and veggies. Lots of different hot food bars too. Trail mix bar, olive bar and even an ice cream topping bar. Fresh made hot soups and lots of pizza! Sushi and desert counter too. They have an excellent assortment of cheeses here as well. Any kind you may need. Great selection of meat and fish. They have an entire row of teas. Also a fairly good amount of gluten free options if you need to stay away from products that have that in it. A fairly decent stock in coconut and almond flour too. They sell beer and wine. Great selection at a decent price. Redbox up front. Section of tables to eat at with a kids area too. Great hours as they stay open later that most supermarkets. I haven't been to this location in quite sometime even though I live close by. It was never a "must do" type of place to eat for me by any means. To me it looks better than it actually is. They offer a wide variety of food and groceries but the hot food was the reason I went on 3/18/24. I had my two young sons with me and thought the variety would be perfect for a dinner night. We all wanted something different. My oldest and I made a combination plate from the Asian bar that had a variety of hot food. My youngest ordered a medium chicken parmigiana. I saw the bread for my sons sandwich and told the guy he ordered a medium. I was confused because it looked so small compared to a large. He said that was a medium. Didn't look like half of the large. So I asked to see a small and it was literally the size of my hand. They should be embarrassed to serve such a thing for the prices they have listed. I grabbed two small prepackaged pineapple chunks that were about $6 each. I get the amount of both for 4.99 at star market. It's a disgrace what they have for prices. So now we go to pay for everything and I almost froze in place because it was a few cents shy of $100! I should have left it there honestly but my boys got what they wanted and I didn't want to go somewhere else to start the process all over again. I don't know how people think this is ok. The quality was horrible. I had hard, dry wontons, salty steak, dry sesame chicken. My oldest had a vegetable roll, something that resembled crab rangoon, and another item or two but small portions. There's no way this was a $100 meal. I could of quadrupled the food for that price at a Chinese restaurant and would have been much better quality. Needless to say it is definitely the last time I would buy food here again of any sort. They should be embarrassed at the price and quality of their products.
