I usually enjoy my drinks hot and have never been charged an extra $0.50 for a hot drink. The menu has the price listed for hot/cold drinks and doesn't specify any up charge for hot drinks. I only noticed it when I got the receipt. Also, the price listed online didn't have the correct price listing either. Ordered my food and waited 20+ minutes walking in and out for 3 chiccen and rice and one sandwich they helped 4-5 other orders and had them in and out. I got chicken, a cantaloupe slush, chocolate snow and a Snicker's milkshake yesterday. I paid about $6.50 a drink which was kind of ridiculous and $8.25 for the chicken which is worth it for the amount you get so my total was about $30 including taxes for 4 things. Chicken and chocolate snow were good. However my moms cantaloupe slush had large ice chunks and my bf had an entire bar of unblended Snicker's candy at the bottom of his cup. If anyone is wondering what this picture is.. it's their version of Takoyaki. In my opinion, very disappointing.. and the kids that works there swears it is how it supposed to be. I've been to several boba shops and not one of them served a burnt, no sauce and shavings on top Takoyaki. Let me fast forward to when I got my order of Takoyaki, I checked my bag and asked the girl who's working the cashier why it looked the way it did and I KNOW that it is not served in a paper bag like that. Without any hint of hesitation she said that, that's how it is. I walked out very annoyed, and when I got in my car I handed it to my kid who it's for and he looked at it and asked me the same thing I asked the cashier "what is this?". So I went back in and told her that it really doesn't look like the ones that Quickly or any other place serves. She then told me she'll get her brother who says he's the manager and said that's how it is, I told him it should have some sauce and shavings on top, he said they don't have anymore of it. I asked him why is it burnt and his response..... "do you want a refund?" I thought they have a standard of serving their food but according to that manager "NO" because they are privately owned and not a franchise. Still it's plain and burnt, franchise or not. To the owner: Please train your staff well, they are very nonchalant and have no clue on how to deal with an issue well enough. The none takoyaki looking takoyaki was just an icing to the cake. I have to say, this Quickly has gone downhill. Sure the drinks are the same, really hard to mess up a boba drink, but the food quality and quantity has really suffered and I can't figure out why. Normally when we go to a Quickly we order the squid, and get a nice filled snack bag for $5 something. Been here 2 times in the past few days and both times got maybe a small handful, (a baby hand). Also the takoyaki used to come with 8 pieces and a brown sauce with bonito flakes, now you get 6 in a bag, no sauce, no flakes. The real kick in the teeth is that they charge you the same amount and give you less. SMH. There is a pretty large selection of hot and cold drinks, Vietnamese sandwiches, and an assortment of fried foods to choose from. Different from the ones in the Bay and Sac. But everything except the Vietnamese sandwich was good. We got the chicken sandwich with no mayo.. so yes it was dry but the entire sandwich lacked flavor. The picked radishes and carrots were dry and had no flavor. Chunks of chicken were okay, thank goodness for the cilantro, cucumber and jalapeño because that saved it. The best taro milk tea I've ever had! I really like this Quickly because the people working are always nice. Especially the younger guy with a mustache. He was extra nice and suggested I got bubble milk tea mixed with taro. My new favorite drink now! The atmosphere is chill, the tv always has something new and the new couches are comfortable as hell. Ever since I started going to T4 I forgot what Quickly was. HAHA! But my friend and I had went here because we were already in Tracy. To my surprise, the prices here are actually cheaper than T4. At first it made me reconsider my go-to boba spot. What drew me back was when I ordered fried calamari. Man, let me tell you.. There really was about four or five pieces in there. This was my first time having Quickly and I was not at all impressed. I've tried boba at a lot of places and so far, this was the first one I had that was not good. I ordered a Thai Milk Tea with boba and I was not a fan of the taste. It tasted very watered down, luke warm somehow even with the ice in it and after shaking. I forgot what my boyfriend got but his drink was less than mediocre too. The wait wasn't crazy long but it felt dreadful in there because the A/C was either out or not on. I was sweating just standing there waiting. I was in shorts and a tank top and still no relief. It was cooler outside than it was in here and it was 85 degrees out there. Well that wasn't fun! I literally just got done puking up my drink after about an hour from staring to drink it and without finishing it! I got the passion fruit tea with boba. It tasted ok except it was very sweet (I like it not as sweet). On my drive home from getting it my stomach started to bubble making me feel like I had to burp.
