I called Ace Hardware, within 20 minutes Mark was at my house. He tried a few things and it didn't work, he went back to the store, brought back a technician, unfortunately he couldn't get it working. 45 minutes later, they were back with a brand new working snowblower. Everyone was so helpful, apologetic, and reassured me they would make sure I had a working snowblower for the storm tonight. Mark was amazing and was true to his word. Unforeseen events and I had to cancel my debit card and get a new one.I asked if they could give me cash or put it on any other debit card or credit card once i realized that was the card used. But the only option was store credit and he said its POLICY... Im trying to get my car back on road and take care of my Mom and we are low income. I was really bummed out as ill never spend $60 bucks there. So if you ever wanna buy something, just know there's no return policy. Because if you lose your card, or if it's compromised, depending on how much you spend there, you're going to be stuck. He said its "policy". Its 2026 the exchangement of money should be easy. In the end that policy made them lose a customer and I always recommended that place to friends. So loses 100s of future business cause couldn't make a customer happy. He also clearly forgot me as well which was disappointing as I enjoyed 1st chat . 3.8 stars or Whatever on Yelp hopefully they change few things .... ‍

After testing each of them at home, they are sharper than every, like new. I recommend this service, and the store generally, where everyone seems helpful, but not overly so. Love going here.

They are a small 'mom and pop' style hardware store that has as much outside storage for sale items…read moreas they have inside. A true throw back, but despite how small they are they really pack it in at this store. They have almost as many things as you can find in other bigger stores with 1/4 the store size. I can't help thinking 'fire trap' with the pre-WWII area aisle widths and floor boards that feel like they are from the turn of the century i can't help but think that it would be some what problematic getting out in the event of a fire. On more than one occasion I have found items that i was looking for that i haven't been able to find online at a better price than i have seen at a Lowe's or Home Depot.
