I've been a customer of Goffstown ACE Hardware for 20+ years. Sorry it's taken me so long to share my appreciation. After losing my wife recently, I made the decision to sell our home and downsize. Here's the challenge: I had a lot of 'touch-up' to do...and had NO IDEA of the paint codes and colors for most of the rooms. After speaking with Karen, she assured me that their digital system could help me, with not only the colors, but the finish. They were FIVE FOR FIVE...all colors matched well! I am so appreciative. You made a very tough time in my life, a little easier. read more

Man, my wife loves it here. It's not simply a "hardware" store. The front part is filled with seasonally appropriate clothing, gifts, soaps, hot sauces, on and on. And free popcorn. But walk on and you'll be in a very extensive Ace Hardware store. Very well stocked - it's doubtful you'll have a need that they can't fulfill. Outside they've well stocked with garden stuff, including plants and flowers. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Their lot can get pretty full but I've always found a space. read more

This location of Ace Hardware is perfect, especially for a small town, actually a city, like Goffstown, NH. Not only can you get all your hardware needs met but they also offer a wonderful section of unique and lovely gift-type items. I visit here more often for this section than for hardware and have recommended it to many, many people! read more

Ace Hardware in downtown Goffstown have a great Staff..We go out of the way to help you..Went in yesterday and needed assistance in changing my battery for my car key FOB..An associate changed the battery for me with no hesitation vs another ACE/Aubin store in the area that was rude and would not help me....Hats off to ACE in Goffstown!!! read more

Love ace hardware in goffstown, going here is an experience and each time I go I find something new

This store has pretty much EVERYTHING. If they don't have what I'm looking for, I probably don't need it. I love shopping here and I will always come here as opposed to Home Depot or Lowe's. Ace Hardware is pretty much the heart of Goffstown Village, and they do so much within the community for special events, and things for kids. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The garden center is gorgeous in the spring and summer. I'll never forget the time I was waiting in line and the guy in front of me was holding a box that was chirping. You can literally buy baby chicks here--I told you, they have *everything*. The popcorn that you can grab on the way out is nice. They used to have it at the entrance so you could eat while you shopped but I think they changed it due to covid (and they probably got tired of sweeping it all up). I have an Ace Rewards account and they send coupons every so often which is nice. read more

See all

they will bend over backwards to help you. We would be lost if they didn't deliver to us. I ordered an item and got an hour later. They will help you figure out what your problem is and what do you need read more

Usually a great local place to get hardware, in fact that's why we shop there, but maybe they are loosing sight of being customer oriented. I needed paint, not a tall order by any stretch, but the two guys behind the counter were terrible. The older guy had no idea what he was doing, and as I was trying to talk with him he was stuffing his face with cake. Yup, chocolate cake with white frosting. So, I turned to the younger guy with a beard, and although he was apparently knowledgeable, he was dismissive and rude. No eye contact and as he talked to me he did so as if I should know the answer to my questions to him. Truly, this guy was as insulting by his demeanor as anyone I've done business with. At the end of the day, the staff that's been there forever are tired and sleepwalking through their work, while the young cashiers were awesome. I think it's time fir me to find another local hardware store that hasn't list its sense of customer and community. read more

So grateful to have this local shop in my town. Helpful knowledgable staff and I can't believe how much of everything I need they fit under that roof! read more

This ACE Hardware store is THE best hardware store I've ever been to - hands down - ever. We have an ACE where I live, and over the years I've been to countless hardware stores - none hold a candle to these guys. Not only is the layout above the top - it is old school that stays current. Current in it's offerings, old school in it's service. The employees have been there forever and are 100% knowledgeable and happy to assist. They hit customer service out of the park. This place actually holds a little near and dear spot in my heart. It is one of my favorite stores to visit. Thanks you guys - keep it up! read more

In a small town like ours, a good hardware store is key. It's where your friends work, where you get gifts personalized with your town name, where the drama department has a running tab for their paint collection, and where model trains used to run around the top of the back room (the old train station). These days, it's the go-to place for all your planting, painting, lighting, and houseware needs. Barry in the paint department can help with any project. From getting keys copied to getting low-cost brackets, bulbs, and small toys, there's literally always a reason to go here - and free coffee, popcorn, and occasional kittens to pet to make your trip even more rewarding. read more

Very POOR customer service. The girl at the register overcharged me. I asked if my sale items rang up correctly, she said "yup". They didn't then it took three people to correct the error. Her response " I guess I gave you the Wrong Info".. Then, the manager didn't seem to care either. Ten minutrs shopping, 30 minutes waiting for them to correct the bill & credit my account. And people wonder why there's so many Walmarts, Home Depot's & Lowes around..... read more

The entire staff makes you feel welcome they help you find things and help with any of your DIY projects. The popcorn is always a nice touch. Thank you all. read more

This hardware store is a big part of the community. They are always hosting events and help out in the community. I'm totally against buying items out of convenience and not necessity so I thought it would be a waste to come here. There have been so many times that I have needed things for my house and it's been great for them to be so close so we don't have to head all of the way back to Manchester when we forget one thing. We frequent the store often and we always grab a bag of popcorn and play with the trains. We're so glad to have this store around, they are so much more than a hardware store. read more

One of the most friendly and most knowledgeable staffs you'll ever meet. Outstanding service and selection. I recommend them highly.

We recently moved into town and spend so much time going to Ace. They seem to have everything and appear to be the heart of Goffstown. I've never entered the store without being greeted by the welcoming staff. The little ones love the play area and the popcorn treat (me too!) The events at Halloween and Christmas were great fun for the whole family. I also appreciate the quick and efficient delivery service. Thanks! read more

Pretty good hardware store. If you need anything, like they say, ace is the place. Have kids with you? Keep them occupied with the toy trains and animal figures. Are your kids hungery? Ace gives out free pop corn. Only problem is that some supplies will be misplace or all out. And their new shipment takes a while to get there. But again over all ace is definetly the place read more

The customer service at Goffstown Ace Hardware is the best around. The store is huge with tons of variety and great products to choose from. The environment is clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful. They even have a train station for your children to play at and they offer free popcorn. It makes it so much more fun to go and shop there. It's a one stop shop run by great people. I love supporting Ace! read more
