A true throw back, but despite how small they are they really pack it in at this store. They have almost as many things as you can find in other bigger stores with 1/4 the store size. I can't help thinking 'fire trap' with the pre-WWII area aisle widths and floor boards that feel like they are from the turn of the century i can't help but think that it would be some what problematic getting out in the event of a fire. But these days ... they aren't keeping up with the accuracy of the prices listed on the shelves. I take a few steps away after my purchases are rung up, wondering, did I remember this wrong? $2-$3 discrepancy, per item, between the shelf price, and what's rung up at the register. Worse, they don't own that *it's* *their* *job* to keep the shelf labels accurate. Yes, they refund to shelf label price, but fire back "It's the computer.", "It's Ace." This is becoming a "shop elsewhere" issue, for me.

He told me he had them. I asked the price and told me that too. I went into the store and asked tine cashier where they were. She looked them up on the computer and told me aisle 3. I got them and went to pay. I liked that I didn't have to wait in line. Another cashier came to the front of the store and took me to pay. There are so many advantages to going to a small hardware store versus a Home Depot. And the number one reason is the customer service. Thank you all for starting my day with a smile!

This week, I received a flyer with a Labor day sale and decided that there were some good sale items and made the trip down to the store. We knew that they were closed on Sundays, but hoped that because the sale went through the 4th, that they would be open for business on Labor Day. We got to the store and unfortunately, it was closed, but they had posted the flyer on their door, so we decided to go back on Tuesday and ask them to honor the prices that THEY advertised. The owner first started with the, "we are just a small business" babble and went from there. Edmunds has 2 stores and has been in business for over 50 years. They could have easily helped us out, but instead they turned us away and chose to turn away our business. He did not even know he had the flyer on his door and said he knew nothing about it. I will not be returning and nor should you.
