A lot of my friends haven't heard of a Guinea Pig living so long! I take excellent care of him, thankfully he has been a healthy Guinea Pig. Snickers has outlived our family dogs. He's still happy, healthy and playing with his toys, he's a very happy piggy! Before I adopted Snickers, I bought lots of goldfish and aquarium supplies at this store years ago, everyone was very helpful and took good care of the pets. There was a PetSmart in Philly, and I wish that spent more time with the small pets. I have better memories of this store!!! Here's a photo of Snickers! So glad that he's living a happy life!

Everyone that works there has…read moregood manners, very knowledgeable and loves to help but I've had issues twice with the manager Rich. He acts like he can be lazy and get smart with the customers when this is a business. I called just now to ask if they had the hard blue dog pool, he said they stock them in different colors that I can see which colors they had when I got there. Unfortunately I had to call back because I didn't want to drive there for the blue pool & they didn't have it. I called back got Rich again, asked if I can speak to someone who can tell me if something specific was in stock. He told me, that's not what we do here, you order online and we pick it and that's how you find out. I have an only store gift card so I told him I wanted to pick it up and needed to know if they had it. (What horrible customer service, he could have just checked the first time instead of making it so hard) so then he tells me, I have to walk all the way to the front, just to tell you if we have the blue pool in stock? I couldn't believe it, I can't believe that he's a manager or even has a job there. He eventually told me they had it and that he's the manager. Last time I placed an online order but had to pick it up a little earlier because I had to leave work and spoke to him, asking if I can get my order sooner that I'm on my way? He told me no, I had to wait for the email. When I picked up the order and he grabbed the frozen fog food, he looked down mad. I'm definitely making a complaint to corporate. Too many nice people deserve a job that he obviously hates.

Now if I were to leave stars for the store staff, specifically the cashiers, it would be ZERO. Stood at a cashier stand for a couple of minutes, no one was there to help me. One team member was at the end of an aisle (in view of the checkstands) stacking something onto a shelf. After a couple of minutes I cleared my throat and she noticed me. Instead of coming over to help me, she said "I'll be right with you" and then RETURNED TO STACKING THE SHELF. So much for taking care of the customer, huh? So I continued to stand there - eventually another team member came around the corner and helped me (yeah, she was still stacking when he did). In today's day and age, serving the customer is what it is all about. I can get pet supplies exactly the same and in some cases cheaper using Chewy.com (free delivery too) - so I will continue to bring my dog to grooming as that team is terrific, but don't expect me to buy a single can of dog food from a place that trains team members to finish a stacking job before helping a customer. I don't believe in rewarding that with my patronage.

Mischief and Rascal (sister and brother) were our first and only pets (excluding fish). Two kittens…read morethat we picked out, adored, and loved for seven years. Mischief was a skittish black calico. Girly and fickle, but if you caught her at the right moments, she was yours. Whenever I was sick, she would camp out on my bed. Her tiny body would press up against my blanket-covered legs until I was better. Rascal was a big fat orange tabby cat. Handsome, with a prominent male swagger. He usually ate Mischief's food, in addition to his own, so was double her size. Sometimes at night, he'd refuse to come in, and you'd see a big fat orange blob sitting contently in the backyard - just staring at you. We'd try everything to beckon him in. He'd just raise his whiskered eyebrows. "Eh...come get me, sucka" And so one of us would wade through the dew covered grass and carry his blobbish figure into the house. At one point....he even taught himself how to use the toilet (though not the flushing part...which lead to much controversy) A talented, kinda gross habit, which he strangely outgrew after a week. Calico Queen and Tabby King -they owned our place and knew it. To feed our (our = my sister and I) obsession with Mischief and Rascal, my family used to make a monthly trip to New Hope, about an hour away, to visit Meow, Meow. Meow, Meow was/and is an unbelievabl-y darling place to stock up on cat schwag: cute cat plates, fake mice, cat mobiles, cat doorknobs, cat socks, scratching posts...etc..etc.. Meow Meow carried everything that one could possible want or need for one's cat....or not want and need, but would buy anyway - cause there was a big cat on it. Mischief and Rascal could have cared less about the toys or scratching posts, that we used to buy for them. They much preferred our shoelaces to play with than the fake mice and scratched the couch rather than their scratching posts, but it was fun nontheless to shop at Meow, Meow. It served our desire to show our love for them in some sort of tangible way (when we weren't torturing them by dressing them up in stuffy renaissance doll clothes) and allowed us to bask in our newfound obsession with everything "cat" ish. Unfortunately, we had to give both Mischief and Rascal away when we moved to Japan (we didn't want them to go through quarantine). We were devastated, as we piled up all of their cat toys into the back seat of our car. But it had to be done. Since that horrible day, we have yet to return to Meow, Meow. But Meow, Meow continues to go strong. Catering to cat lovers since 1988.

I give no start to this behavior:…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience to help other pet owners. I boarded my beloved Black Russian Terrier, Mulan, at PetSmart PetsHotel believing she would be safe and well cared for. Mulan is a rescue who came from an abusive situation, and I have spent years rebuilding her trust in people. She is well-trained, socialized, obedient, and is an important member of my family. When I picked her up, I immediately knew something was wrong. She was not the same dog I had dropped off. Her behavior had changed, and as someone who knows my dog better than anyone, I knew she had experienced something that caused her distress. Watching her like that was heartbreaking. I contacted PetSmart to express my concerns and expected compassion, answers, and accountability. Instead, I was met with poor communication. Although a manager initially contacted me, my follow-up emails and messages went unanswered. I eventually had to file a complaint with Consumer Affairs because I felt my concerns were not being taken seriously. What disappointed me most was not just what happened during Mulan's stay, but how PetSmart handled the situation afterward. As pet owners, we place tremendous trust in boarding facilities. When something goes wrong, we deserve transparency, empathy, and a genuine effort to make things right. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Because of this experience, I will never board Mulan at PetSmart again. In fact, I have since arranged for a private pet sitter because I no longer feel comfortable leaving her at a commercial boarding facility. No pet owner should have to worry whether their dog will return home emotionally changed. I hope PetSmart takes customer concerns more seriously in the future and improves both the quality of care provided to pets and the way they respond when customers report problems. Our pets cannot speak for themselves, so it is our responsibility to speak for them. Mulan deserved better, and so did I.
