Snickers and I moved to Philadelphia a few years ago and while I am no longer in the suburbs, I just wanted all the PetSmart staff to know that Snickers will be celebrating his 7th birthday on Thanksgiving!!! A lot of my friends haven't heard of a Guinea Pig living so long! I take excellent care of him, thankfully he has been a healthy Guinea Pig. Snickers has outlived our family dogs. He's still happy, healthy and playing with his toys, he's a very happy piggy! Before I adopted Snickers, I bought lots of goldfish and aquarium supplies at this store years ago, everyone was very helpful and took good care of the pets. There was a PetSmart in Philly, and I wish that spent more time with the small pets. I have better memories of this store!!! Here's a photo of Snickers! I decided to change 5 to 1 stars only because the Manager is a snob. Everyone that works there has good manners, very knowledgeable and loves to help but I've had issues twice with the manager Rich. He acts like he can be lazy and get smart with the customers when this is a business. I called just now to ask if they had the hard blue dog pool, he said they stock them in different colors that I can see which colors they had when I got there. Unfortunately I had to call back because I didn't want to drive there for the blue pool & they didn't have it. I called back got Rich again, asked if I can speak to someone who can tell me if something specific was in stock. He told me, that's not what we do here, you order online and we pick it and that's how you find out. I have an only store gift card so I told him I wanted to pick it up and needed to know if they had it. (What horrible customer service, he could have just checked the first time instead of making it so hard) so then he tells me, I have to walk all the way to the front, just to tell you if we have the blue pool in stock? I couldn't believe it, I can't believe that he's a manager or even has a job there. He eventually told me they had it and that he's the manager. Last time I placed an online order but had to pick it up a little earlier because I had to leave work and spoke to him, asking if I can get my order sooner that I'm on my way? He told me no, I had to wait for the email. When I picked up the order and he grabbed the frozen fog food, he looked down mad. I'm definitely making a complaint to corporate. Too many nice people deserve a job that he obviously hates. read more

PetSmart is the most conveniently located pet store for me. however, the products in the aisles are often noy unpacked. and there is always a long wait in line. Finding help is very difficult. I don't think I will e going there any more. I prefer somewhere with better customer service read more

Bad experience at Pet Smart Warminster. Store manager Jackie refused to sell me my dog's prescription dog food despite having a prescription because it didn't have expiration date even though it was only 6 months old and is good for a year and the store records would show my buying history and it's also on file at Banfield. I asked for her name & she got mad and then refused to sell me the non prescription dog food and when I asked why, she lied and said that I threw the food at her when I never even touched it her presence. The cashier had already scanned & bagged the food on the other side of the register before she got there! She told me to go to Petco. Guess what? I did, had a great experience and they did not even need my prescription. They made me a Petco customer! This should be zero stars but Yelp made me put one in. By the way if Jackie is reading this, you need to wash your stringy brown hair & dress professionally and wear a name tag while you are at it. read more

I bought my son a guinea pig tonight. When we first entered the store, there was no employees on the floor to be seen. After asking the cashier to please find someone for me, no one came! My son and I stand in front of the guinea pig cage for a few minutes before I see 3 employees talking. They could see my son and me standing there at the cage. Here I am, a customer that is about to spend a lot of money at your store (buying everything a guinea pig needs along with the guinea pig itself) and they try not to make eye contact with me. After I finally got someone to help me, the kid knew next to nothing about guinea pigs! He said it himself! When I asked, "is there anyone here that does know about them?", he replied "well, technically I'm that person but I know more about reptiles." Terrible customer service. somehow couldn't manage to trim my dog's nails. my dog has had her nails trimmed elsewhere with no problems. called us after 3 minutes of her being there and acted like they performed the service but did not. claimed she was "thrashing around". clearly not good at their job if some thrashing prevents them from a simple nail trim. read more

They shouldn't even get one star. I had a family portrait and had scheduled weeks before to have my dogs groomed. PetSmart calls the morning of the grooming to say that the groom called out. They had no other solution except so sorry. This is NOT the first time this has occurred; however, it is the first time grooming was so important to me. The company could offer no solution. If I could give a zero I would however, that's not possible so I give a one. Terrible customer service. On his gromming appointment, Nikki skinned my dog in numerous spots. The poor boy has been licking the razor burned spots over and over again in pain. The groomer essentially made him bald and the haircut itself is completely uneven. The response I got from her is "I can't do anything, the hair will grow back". There was no apology at all. The fur has barely grown even after 3 weeks. Even with a jacket my dog is shivering when he's taken out. He does not look original anymore. His fur pattern has changed completely. I visit this location every Friday to pickup specific cat food and various items. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the manger, Craig is always around to answer questions or help you find what your looking for. The store is clean and every employee I've dealt with has been very professional and helpful. They have a good selection of pet supplies, I only wish they carried Merrick products but otherwise they have everything I need. One of the better pet stores I've been to for sure. read more

I witnessed a very disturbing thing today at Petsmart in Warminster. Looked like they were having some kind of event for people with dogs. All of a sudden a pit bull attacked another dog and then the screaming started. A 20 something man, owner of the pit bull tried to pull his dog off the victim dog but it wouldn't let go. There was a big commotion and people were getting upset. The victim dog was taken into the Banfield hospital on the premises. It was just a bad scene. The dog was out of control and the owner wasn't able to control it. I knew something like this would happen eventually. I would not bring my dog to Petsmart. Just a heads up to others. Luckily the dog didn't attack a young child where the result would have been a lot worse. The manager did he best he could to handle the situation but shame on anyone who would bring a vicious dog into a business. I hope the owner pays for all damages. read more

Really upset that they don't sell feeder mice anymore. How are u gonna sell snakes but not the proper food for them! Also won't sell other rodents as food. What happened to the circle of life? Went yesterday to pick up some stuff for a new aquarium I'm setting up... The in store prices were ridiculous. I went to the petsmart website before going to the store to price stuff out but when I was checking out the prices were crazy... When I asked I was told oh we do price matching. So the in store prices and the prices on their website wer way different... Like twice as much on some items.. Seems dishonest. I won't go here again... Extremely rude. Will not be coming back here for grooming and will be going to small businesses instead. I've come here many times for my dog to get groomed and it was always okay. The last couple of times have been less than pleasant. I realize it is stressful with COVID right now, but it is no excuse to be rude to customers. The groomers were rude to my husband and I today and yelled at him to stand outside while our dog was getting her nails done. They did not seem to care about the dogs at all and just seemed irritated. The other groomer was scolding the other dog getting groomed. read more

Last week I went to the grooming department and made an appointment for my puppy Jasper's first haircut he's a 16 week old mini poodle so it's super important to get him groomed regularly, and more important to get him started young. Needless to say I made an appointment a week out for 7 am woke up early to get Jasper and myself ready for the big day only to receive a phone call saying the groomer called out and our appointment was canceled. It's his first haircut I didn't specifically ask for anyone so anyone could have done it!!! I feel this is a corporation and their lack of planning shouldn't result in my inconvenience period. Went there on a Saturday night to use the grooming center for a quick nail trim for my dog and they were closed! They advertise to be open until 9pm and I went there at 7pm. It wasn't even like they closed a little bit early, it was 2 hours early. I was really upset because I don't live around the corner. I went out of my way in the rain to come to this location and it was for nothing. Other times in the past I had been disappointed with the groomer being overwhelmed and I had to wait to the point where I walked out. Other times price was cheaper online and at the store it was double. I guess I've finally learned my lesson never to return here. I only get aggravated and don't feel at all like they appreciate my business. read more

This store always fascinated me.... Prices are pretty good. They have pretty decent foot traffic and honestly the store looks pretty good. However, they're employees make me want to shrivel up in a corner, cover myself in compost and decompose for the rest of the century. You can't find any good knowledge here. At least I haven't. All my visits to the fish section found me gagging at the health of the animals and the shear quantity of dead fish found simply floating around. Like nobody cares. Very very sad... I wish I had more to talk about but honestly I have not had a single good experience in this store. There are better places to go. I bring my 110 lb Rottie to warminster store for grooming. She doesn't let me cut her nails and Jess B. had no problem cutting n bathing her. (There was more than one Jess there the last time I went) No one has ever been able to cut Bella's nails but Jess B. Thank you Jess B. Your a savior. read more

While I do like their grooming style and their pricing. They need to do something about their lack of availability. When I told him I might be looking into new groomers, they could not care less. Just had a beyond traumatic experience at Petsmart to get my dogs nails cut. They were so rude and not patient at all with my puppy. She is 9 months old and has a lot of puppy in her still. I know it cant be easy but she was thrashing and pulling so hard on my leash they had on her. She was clearly annoying Melanie and Ryan, instead of calming her down and proceeding they just told us that they were going to call it a day and only did half her nails! But you better believe they charged us full price. I am so upset I came home and cried. For people who work with dogs all day they sure didnt have a clue how to handle a puppy. She is so happy to be home and needless to say we bought nail clippers while there because I will not put my pup through that again! Buyer Beware! The staff are wonderful and the trainer, Sandy, is worth every penny. She is OUTSTANDING! So why only 3 stars? It would be 5. The huge down side is on line they had Advantix for $25. less than the in store cost. It was a 40% mark up. Why? The area we live in. They do area pricing which is SHAMEFUL. So if I had not looked on line to know PetSmart sells it for $65.99 I would have spent $91.99 in the store for the same product sold through PetSmart online for significantly less. They did give us the online price of what PetSmart sells it for. (Not a competitor) I found this out with the toys I have been buying, the dog food I use for our puppy, and more. In most houses money is tight, including mine. Truly saddened buy this. Please do your research!!! read more

If I could I would give negitive stars. Me and my fiance took our dog to get groomed by Alexic C, who wasn't very friendly or helpful. We told her we wanted a trim she showed us a shave chart, we told her they were too short and again said we had just wanted a trim. I am very, very angry and upset to say that we came back to a completely shaved dog, which isn't even a clean finish. As far as his tail goes, it looks like she just chopped off a chuck, hes suppose to have a pointed tail which is now squared. Needless to say we will never be getting our dog groomed there again. We are also requesting a refund or some compensation as we are highly unsatisfied with the outcome, and it was not cheap. read more

Use to love going to this place, however I called yesterday to get my dog an appointment to be groomed. I didn't want to wait so I said I would do it myself and told them not to worry. Because of some family issues that happen last night I was unable to groom my dog. They said yesterday that they had opens for today so I called again and explained what happen. Worst pets mart I've ever been to. One of the geckos looked like it was dying. All the tarantulas, scorpions, and some small snakes are cooped up in tiny carrying cases that are about 5X3 inches with no room to move one of the tarantulas was as big as its little case. I've never seen such mistreatment of reptiles at any pets mart which is saying something because they're generally not good. Looks like a warehouse there's no staff anywhere. Avoid at all costs. This place should be shut down for their treatment of reptiles alone. read more

casey is a great groomer. she is nice, efficient and knows her dogs. she recommended my dog, julius, get his nails ground so it would last longer. i asked her to stop if he showed any discomfort so he wouldn't associate anything unpleasant with the grooming salon. he did great, she did great and we are very happy with casey. read more

Looks like a good store (regular Petsmart), but last time I was there I saw a little finch in one of the cages with what looked like half of hip missing, all read from bleeding and it was limping and flying away from any other birds, just trying to survive. Maybe this wouldn't have happened if there weren't 9-10 birds in a 1.5X1.5 foot cage! Pets is your business, why not get it right??! read more

Much more pleasant than the Petsmart in Willow Grove. This store has a wide variety of cat and kitten food including Blue Buffalo and Organic. It is also extremely clean, well lit, and the staff are friendly. Plus they usually have a sale going on or a coupon available! I recommend this store when people ask where I shop. read more
