I am relieved to have stumbled upon pet nanny through yelp- what life savers! Its a very affordable service, and they were super accommodating with my last minute situation. They set us up with Megan, a short drive from us, who was willing to stop by daily to check on our two cats. They provide a free app- petwatchman- which is really cool. It tells you with GPS when the petsitter is at your house, and for how long. I looked forward to the updates about what my boys were up to when I was gone- when the app wasnt working for a couple of days as it was being worked on, they made sure to get me Megans number. She texted me daily when she was there and filled me in what the kitties were up to. I have another trip coming up, and my boyfriend travels for work, so we will be needing a pet sitter again. There is no question as to who we will go with. Pet Nanny gave me peace-of-mind knowing a professional would be there with them when I could not.

There have been a couple times I have contacted her pretty last minute (not proud of that) and she always makes time for us and saves our weekend! She truly cares about our animals, it isn't just an in and out job for her, and for that reason alone I highly recommend using her services!

I was told that my position change was temporary, but months later I was informed that the transition I had been expecting was no longer happening. I was never clearly informed of that change and only found out after asking for an update myself. I was also told that I was approved to work an 8:30-4:30 schedule moving forward. This schedule adjustment was discussed due to previous attendance write-ups related to delays with the city bus. My understanding was that this change would help ensure I could consistently arrive on time and avoid any further attendance-related disciplinary action. Then, without warning, I received an email informing me that my employment was being terminated. I was not given a clear explanation for the decision, which left me confused and frustrated. In my experience, there was a lack of transparency and consistent communication regarding decisions that affected my employment. I often felt unclear about expectations and changes to my role. Thankfully, I already had another job lined up. However, my experience left me disappointed and reinforced my concerns about how employees are communicated with and managed

Will never use again, but came highly recommended. Pros: -available last minute -litter and food area clean. -cats were fed 2x daily as requested, with litter changes and medication dosing. Cons: -cat visits were late at night until requested change. -communication was horrible. -special needs cat threw up because medication wasn't dosed properly or watched post dose for spitting it out(they are back on schedule now). -no text updates, only photos given via Facebook page. -I had to pick up my keys 4 days post service fulfillment. Emotional review: I went to Japan last minute. Set up an intro meeting, service was a no show with no communication until texted. Rescheduled for next day. Agreed upon service needed as in providers notes. Showed how to dose special needs cat since he likes to spit out his pill. Showed where food and litter was. Handed over keys. Had to then text later about cost prior to leaving. I left a detailed note the morning I left for Japan about the cats. Cash was left out with a small tip. I looked at FB when i landed and checked in a day later. Considering it was dark out in providers FB photos when the cats were fed, I had to ask again for them to be fed at certain times. I asked if anyone had thrown up...they said no (but upon coming home to dried puke, I doubt it). I asked for text updates, and didn't get any. Text exchanges below. Read from bottom to top images. Will never use this service again
