Lauren is great! Her fees are a lot more reasonable than those of other similar services. I could tell that she is great with animals the first time she visited me and my cat Dina. Even though Dina never hides from strangers, she does tend to act aloof around them. But she seemed to get along really well with Lauren the first time they met. While I was away during the summer, Lauren did a great job taking care of Dina. I love that she recorded what she did with Dina during every visit in details. She definitely cares a lot about the animals she takes care of! Dina had a good time with her. She even gained a little weight (definitely not overweight though) from all that pampering. Finding Lauren was such a blessing! My boyfriend and I travel quite a bit, and having Millie (a spoiled frenchie) and Pele (an easily frightened cat) we needed to find a great pet sitter. From the very first consultation with Lauren I knew our fur babies were going to be in great hands! She is so wonderful with them. She always leaves the best notes from her visits, telling us all the details of their walks and play times! It is so comforting knowing our animals are in such wonderful care when we go away. Lauren took great care of our 10 week old brand new puppy! I had to leave my pup in his crate for 8+ hours during the work week so we needed someone to come over twice a day to let him out. I searched the web for hours and called different places and when I spoke with Lauren I felt like I had found the right person. The prices are reasonable and they provide a free "get-to-know-you" visit before you start pet sitting services. When our pup, hubby and I met her, we felt that she was the right fit for us and could trust her to take care of our pup while we were at work. She did an awesome job! I love how she left a notebook with a report of what happened each day. It was like a diary of my pup's life. He was going through some digestive issues when we started her service, and he needed more attention and help than normal, and she gave him all that and more! My fiancee and I were going away out of state for Thanksgiving for an entire week, leaving behind our 1-year-old terrier rescue who had never had to spend a night alone in the house before! After comparing reviews online, and being tempted by a discount..., I contacted Lauren and couldn't have been happier that I did. Lauren came over for a meet-and-greet and was just the most wonderful person, very caring and laid back. On top of her great personality, she hooked us up with a great online system for tracking payments and scheduling, which was very handy. But the real blessing was getting wonderful little texts from Lauren (some with cute pics!) while apart. Those were so wonderful and reassuring when we were 900 miles away! To top that off, when we got home we found detailed and sweet notes on each of her visits! Lauren has primarily been a vacation pet sitter for me but when my Grandmother fell ill a few years back, Lauren made herself available on a moments notice and offered continuous service through the 10 days I spent at the hospital through the out of town trip for the funeral. It was a very difficult time for me but Lauren lifted the burden of trying to be in two places at one time. It was a great relief to know that my dogs were being taken care when I couldn't be there and without having to use a kennel. Not only did Lauren do the basics (food, water, outside), it was clear when I came home to VERY happy dogs (NO hunger strikes, pouting or attitude) that they were each given the special love and attention that they are accustomed too (spoiled rotten!). Recently, the winter weather has been taking its toll on my older dog's arthritis (14 yr old Shepard/Lab mix) and Lauren has been visiting daily. While I consider my house a 'high maintenance' visit, Lauren doesn't give it a second thought. She will carry my dog when his legs don't want to cooperate and cleans up any accidents that may happen. I never come home to a smelly house or soiled pet. She is just as caring to my smaller dog (12 yr Fox Terrier/Pomeranian mix) with all his silliness. Lauren knows my little guy likes to be chased, doesn't like to be outside in the cold for long and will beg for cookie after cookie as if he has never been fed. Lauren really pays attention to my dogs: she knows their personalities and what they need when she visits. I always come home to a great note about how each visit went. I couldn't be more grateful for such excellent service from such a caring and understanding animal-lover. I can't stress enough how wonderful it is to come home to happy dogs after a long workday and I know it has everything to do with the kind of person Lauren is. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter. read more

HIGHLY recommend Lauren's Love 4 Paws. Lauren is so good with our kitties, she is always in constant communication and leaves the funniest notes describing her visit with the furballs! If there were more than five stars, I would give them to Love4Paws. Lauren is so amazing, and has been an integral part of our pack for many years now. We simply couldn't do without her. Always reliable, incredibly flexible, Lauren has carted two shelties to the vet, picked them up at the groomers, and loved them as though they were her own. I know how much the girls love Lauren, because when I come home from a weekend away, they barely lift their heads to say hello. Can you tell how much we love Lauren? SHE IS A GEM!! And all the folks who work with her are equally fantastic. We have walks twice a week with Cathy, and have overnights with Treecee and Suzanne. All terrific.
