I asked what behavior did they label as aggressive and their exact words were he barked too much and that made the other dogs bite.. I asked the manager, but hey, "wouldn't that make the other dogs the aggressor since they're the ones doing the fighting and injuring my dog didn't even bite them back retaliation" ..she said nope. So a dog that has never bitten or snapped at a staff member or other dog and the one thats always bloody and injured is the aggressive one? On what planet? If the staff members thought my dog was being overly barky and annoying other dogs, why not put my dog in a time out?Where was the staff? What do we pay for? We let the first time go because we thought Shit happens sometimes.. can't let the second time go.. and yes, both times my dog had to be treated at the vet with huge medical bills.. actually in the vet parking lot this as I'm writing this waiting for my dog to be brought out of recovery to have his wound treated. I honestly would not take my dog here if i cared for them at all. I believe they are understaffed and they don't have the ability to keep an eye on the animals properly ‍.. And all the staff has basically done is say my dog is at fault, even though he's the one that always ends up hurt and full of blood. This would be the last place I would ever take my animal if I cared for their well being at all..

When I moved to Chalfont from the Midwest, I had to start all over to find people I trusted. Thank you Yelpers for helping me make the decision to go with Peace Valley Pet Care! After I initially emailed them, I received a timely response from the owner, Walt, who setup a complimentary consultation with me. He arrived on time at my apartment, met my pugs, discussed his business and my future needs, then left me with paperwork to complete before the first dog-sitting visit. He was nice and professional. His company is also insured, so that was a bonus during my decision-making process. Walt has over a dozen employees who do dog walking/sitting, and I was assigned Kerryann who has been wonderful! I loved that I had a dedicated dog walker instead of getting a different person each time. Make sure you schedule services in as far advance as possible because they do book up. If you're a last minute person, or just knowing that sometimes things come up last minute, it may be a good idea to have a backup dog walker. That's what I did, and it worked well when unexpected trips or activities came up. Kerryann came to my apartment for a complimentary consultation as well! She watched my pugs many times when I took weekend and week-long trips back and forth to OK/TX for 6 months. She always sent me a daily text to let me know how the pugs have eaten along with their bathroom schedule (like who pooped and peed when, good detail for tracking). Sometimes she would send pictures! They are very flexible, so if you need plants watered, mail checked, daily dog pics (I didn't need them daily), that's all included with their visit fee. Their prices are comparable to local competitors ($20 for two dogs per visit), and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the staff. I highly recommend if you need a trustworthy dog-sitter in the area!

The man (Moeb) was so disrespectful to me maybe because I'm a woman. Mumbling at me with his back turned is ignorant. So I had already put $10 in the top jar this means I left there paying a total of just short of $100 for a $61 initial charge. I'm furious to be ripped off for a crappy groom. Be careful!

This was NOT about a diagnosis! You should apologize for the demeanor and rudeness of your staff member Cari. Your response is another reason why people should not visit your facility. I should have came here before I made an appointment at this place…read more I am distraught and disgusted as to how I was treated at IVAH. I had an appointment for 9AM. I always thought it was respectable to be early to appointments. I arrived and walked in at 8:55 AM. Instead of being greeted with open arms, I was scolded for opening the door prior to them opening. I apologized and said we had an appt at 9. Again, I was given an attitude that they were not open yet and there was no doctor and normally the door is locked... but it wasn't so I could take a seat..I did. I continued to get attitude even after mentioning I was confused as to WHY I WAS GETTING AN ATTITUDE... no response to that... but they didn't get the records I e-mailed over 3 times... so I also got an attitude about that. A man walks in to get medication for his cat... also prior to 9AM... and he was welcomed so nicely and was told his animal was their favorite and making it very clear that I was not welcome at this animal hospital. Not only did I have to wake up early, I had to wake up my sick 1 year old, take him to daycare early, walk the dog early so she could get her poop sample.... and still arrived 5 minutes early ... BUT THAT WASN'T THE RIGHT THING TO DO. I moved from Penn Ridge animal hospital bc I thought IVAH being closer would be better (also more expensive) but I am so glad I did not give them a DOLLAR and Penn Ridge welcomed me back with a same day appointment. Your staff is inappropriate, rude, and completely forgot that I AM THE CUSTOMER and how they treated me was uncalled for. DO BETTER! I do not stand for people belittling others and that is what your front desk staff did. UNBELIEVABLE. CLEARLY seems like the common issue is the staff.. I doubt the doctors even know what is happening. As I look through the other reviews... and the pictures online.. yes, Cari was who was ignorant to us and made us leave... I did call her an A HOLE so I feel better with that. I am responding to the below that I had no appt. You are hilarious and you should not delete me out of the system. However, I have receipts. I'll call your office if you wish.

Use of an e-collar is minimal but recommended. Our Penny was transformed into a different dog. Attentive, willing to please, and obedient. No magic here. Just positive repetition and a knowledgeable staff (shout out to Michael and Gabby). Key is to enforce these methods at home consistently. She walks on the leash without pulling, will come from across the yard when her name is called, and now listens to commands such as "leave it" and "off". It's a commitment, but it is worth every "penny" (pun intended). Highly recommended.

We cannot say enough positive things about our experience with BPF!…read more Before coming here, we had previously worked with another trainer and took group classes, but we just could not seem to get some basic manners down. When we started with BPF we could barely walk our 1 y/o Aussiedor Pepper. She would pull us almost to the point of injury, while lunging and barking at everything she saw. We could not walk within 40ft of another dog, animal, or bicyclist or she would become extremely reactive as well. I would be in tears most days after our short walks. Initially, she was also not very friendly towards any other dogs. After speaking with Michael, we decided to sign Pepper up for the Excellent Dog Program for 8 weeks of private lessons. The first 6 lessons were in our home and neighborhood. We were shown different techniques, commands, and given training tools to make walks more enjoyable & relaxed for both Pepper and our family. We practiced our walking commands every day, starting with no distractions, and gradually working our way up. We noticed a difference right from week 1! Our final 2 lessons we were invited up to the beautiful BPF facility for Pepper to learn how to properly socialize with other dogs. She met 4 other dogs while Michael showed us things that should be corrected and body language to pay attention to when dogs our playing. Michael has such great knowledge and is very easy to talk to! We loved working with him. The skill-set & knowledge the Best Paw Forward team has provided us was phenomenal. We are now able to take Pepper on mile plus walks everyday, where we can pass whoever or whatever on the same sidewalk with never more than a minor tug of excitement. We have also been able to take her on some of our favorite local hiking trails! She has also now successfully been introduced to 4-5 new dogs in the neighborhood and will even play bow with a few of them. We could not be happier. We absolutely recommend this training team to anyone that listens! We cannot wait to work with them again in the near future when we bring home puppy #2.
