They used to get groomed at my house by her. In this way, I learn a lot about how to care for them by combing and brushing them. Despite my skill set, I cannot groom them completely by myself.  Because of this, I started looking for additional assistance and have taken months to find it. I found two of the finest groomers in the industry, located at My Pet 2626 E Allegheny Ave. 19134, Philadelphia, PA. Ewelina can be reached at (267) 257-1268, and Monika can be reached at (267) 257-0540. I appreciated their professionalism and suggestions on how to care for the boys based on my level of skill. Getting Zeus and Helios groomed can be a challenge.  Before booking the groom, I talked to the groomers.  As part of one of my walks, I stopped by one day to check out the place with Zeus and Helios. We had a great experience at our first meeting. It was obvious that they cared for animals and would provide a great service, and you can tell that they are honest. The groomers' responses to my questions and their attitude were exceptional   Taking care of my two fur babies is not something I trust everyone with.  The dog dad in me is overprotective. The shop is extremely clean and stocked with various pet supplies.  If the Pet parents have to wait a few more minutes to pick up their fur babies, there are some comfortable chairs in the waiting area. They have a secure area in the back where your dogs can relieve themselves during the grooming. (Note: When you visit your barber or stylist, you may also have to relieve yourself. It is nice to know that your pet family member will be safe.) The shop is located in Port Richmond. With easy access to Fish Town, Kensington. Residents in these areas can easily walk to the location from their homes. Uber Pets is a great alternative if you live in North Philadelphia, Fairmount, Spring Garden, etc. To take them to the vet, I use this service. The cost is very reasonable for Uber Pets. I was positively surprised by the low grooming price due to the condition (length, matted, choppy, etc.) of my two young adult Standard Poodles' coats. The last time they were cut was in June 2023. Obviously, this was way too long for a professional grooming session. I highly recommend these groomers to other pet parents because my experience was excellent. There was a lot of attention given to my pet family members, and they look absolutely adorable. It's not my usual habit to write reviews, but I urge people to patronize this business. I have booked my next two appointments. It was important to me that I was on their books. Whenever you see 2 Poodles and The Bald Guy walking in Port Richmond, Fish Town, Kensington and Spring Garden area, please stop so we can chat about the great care my babies are receiving at My Pet. According to their website, Cat parents, these ladies groom your furry babies as well at My Pet. There have been some times that even just walking past a business that has grooming sends him shaking and quivering. However he entered the front door of this homey establishment, located at the back right corner of a tiny strip mall with no apprehension whatsoever. Yes, the Decour is a bit overwhelming of bric-a-brac and knickknacks, and at first I wasn't created when I came in the door, but I quickly realized it was because the two ladies on the other side of the barrier were working vigorously to take care of the pets whom have been entrusted to their hands. It was explained to me that it was a very busy day that Saturday, so even though I had an appointment they were running a little bit behind. We discussed the style and cut they were going to give my dog, they asked me about allergies and let me know that the scent of the month was jellybean! Additionally, they did have me fill out an information form, and they asked to see a copy of my dog's shots which I showed. I appreciated that they asked to see the records of his shots, as I would not want him to be around other dogs that were not kept up in their health, either. My little guy is always stressed when it comes time for actual separation, but they were gentle and kind and very empathetic. My only small ripple of disappointment, was how long it would be before I was able to pick him up. They let me know that, as I was there early, I should come back in 3 to 4 hours. They also let me know that they would call me so I could pick my little guy up. They rang me about three hours later, and I went to pick him up. He was already done and waiting and one of the cages. He looked very relaxed and happy, and his cut was a perfect Yorky puppy cut. They had done an excellent job with him, including brushing his teeth and taking care of his nails, all for under $60. They also put a jaunty blue bandanna around his neck, though I did quickly remove it, as he has gotten into trouble with such thing as before! I will definitely come back to this establishment when I am in the area. They took good care of my little guy at a price that is not only affordable but reasonable for such a small dog!

When I brought my new puppy there for the 1st time she came home with a paper reward for being a good girl My sweet puppy hair got crazy during quarantine I called and left a message for them and no joke the first day they opened back up they called me & squeezer my Demi in there. And all little girls get bows & boys get bandannas. Not to mention my dog SMELLS SO AMAZING EVERYTIME LIKE A DREAM!!!

She told me right up front that she had neither the talent nor expertise to groom my two Bichons. She delivered in spades. Her "wall of shame" should have been my first indicator to RUN. Every Bichon pictured had the same, "hang dog" look with hound dog ears. While she did shampoo, dry, and trim the dogs, it was completely inexcusable that she cut two of my older dog's age bumps, causing them to bleed. June is a very nice person (based on my one interaction with her), but completely not self-aware. I was puzzled by June. She should think outside the bun. Caveat Emptor
