Even when we arrived close to closing time--later than the hours listed on their website--they still welcomed us warmly and never rushed us. That level of patience and respect is rare and truly appreciated. One of the things I appreciate most is the wide variety of items they carry. Whether we need keys made, jeans, boots, pet food, or accessories, they always have it in stock. They also offer a great selection of tools and supplies for both the garden and the farm, making it a reliable one-stop shop for almost anything we're looking for. It's rare to find a store that consistently has exactly what we need--and even things we didn't realize we needed! And to top it all off, they add thoughtful touches that make customers feel valued. This year, we even got to choose a free calendar for the new year from several beautiful designs. It's small gestures like that which show how much they appreciate their customers. I'm really not sure what all of the areas separated by glass are for, and there wasn't anyone around to help. I was looking for something specific for my dog, but never could find an associate walking around in the store. There were no customers at the checkout counter so I was walking up to the girl there and she turned away and walked into the back. I thought that was kind of rude so I waited. But after a couple of minutes I gave up and left the store. I hate that is the only big pet store in town and I guess I will try some of the smaller locally owned ones.

I thought I would take a chance and drive back to the Healthy Pet Store and there it was sitting on the sidewalk ! They were closed by the time I returned so I waited a few days thinking it might have been me who placed the socks on her foot incorrectly, but No, They were a little too big for her tiny Feet ! Bella and I returned and met Colin at the Cash Register, again a Very welcoming young man. I explained the situation to him and he told me he had an XXS Size at another location and would have them sent over ! He would call me when they arrived ! Sure enough he left a Voicemail and I Dropped back in. I met another young girl with an Unusual Name who assisted me immediately, Also So Very Nice ! The young lady met us at the door and quickly asked if we needed help. Rabecca is on the receipt so I assume that's her name, but she was so very knowledgeable and helpful! We were able to pick several options and she even offered us some "trials" to see if he would eat them before spending the money on the larger bags. Well, we get home and try him with all 3, he actually ate them all!! So, much appreciation to that young lady! They just created another customer for life!!!

The dogs looked fine, so I paid it, but unexpected price increases without prior communication aren't acceptable. Today was worse. I scheduled grooming for three dogs over a week in advance and arranged my work schedule around it. The morning of the appointment, I received a call cancelling all three because a groomer called out. I understand staffing issues happen, but cancelling long-scheduled appointments at the last minute -- with no effort to accommodate, reschedule same-week, or offer any solution it shows a lack of planning and respect for customers' time. Taking time off work and budgeting for a significant service only to have it cancelled hours before leaves customers stuck with very limited options. Between the pricing discrepancy and the day-of cancellation, this business has proven unreliable. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend scheduling here if you need dependability.
