The dogs looked fine, so I paid it, but unexpected price increases without prior communication aren't acceptable. Today was worse. I scheduled grooming for three dogs over a week in advance and arranged my work schedule around it. The morning of the appointment, I received a call cancelling all three because a groomer called out. I understand staffing issues happen, but cancelling long-scheduled appointments at the last minute -- with no effort to accommodate, reschedule same-week, or offer any solution it shows a lack of planning and respect for customers' time. Taking time off work and budgeting for a significant service only to have it cancelled hours before leaves customers stuck with very limited options. Between the pricing discrepancy and the day-of cancellation, this business has proven unreliable. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend scheduling here if you need dependability.

Their dog food selection is pretty much all the premium food for pets. Not that any of the kibble today is great for our pets. But they have all the dog toys and leashes on the front right. Dog food is on the back right of the store as you enter the facility. All the cat stuff is in the left. Aquarium stuff in the far back. Petco turned my fluffy baby into a patchy, traumatized mess, and I paid for the privilege!…read more I took my dog to the Pflugerville Petco @ Limestone on Saturday, 8/9/25 for grooming, and the results were completely unacceptable. Her haircut was patchy and uneven, with some spots shaved almost down to the skin. Stray scraggly hairs were left behind, and her face framing looked nothing like what I expected or requested. The part that really pissed me off? When we got home, she went straight into her crate and refused to come out for the rest of the night. She normally sleeps in my grandson's room, so this behavior makes me believe she was stressed or even traumatized during the grooming process. Because her coat was cut so short, there's no way to fix it until it grows back. I contacted them and spoke to Brittany the next day to discuss my issues. Brittany suggested a discount on a future service...no thank you, I will not be returning. I believe I should get a full or even a partail, but more than half, refund because the service not only looked bad but clearly impacted my dog emotionally. Pet owners deserve to feel confident their pets are treated kindly and professionally, this experience made me feel the exact opposite.

They were all so sweet and told me that if she was possibly pregnant that she could go into labor due to stress. Mochi did not get her grooming due to the concerns. Well a couple of hours after our visit at Petco we came home and for the first time I felt puppies move in my dog's belly. Shortly after that two hours later she gave birth to four boys. One of her boys does have a cleft lip/palate so we will be in to see Dr.Logan soon. These ladies deserve to be commended, neither of them are veterinarians. But they were all so concerned about my babys well-being and I appreciate them so much.

I stopped nearby to pick up something and noticed that my pups Back sock was missing I checked all through my car and yet nothing ! I thought I would take a chance and drive back to the Healthy Pet Store and there it was sitting on the sidewalk ! They were closed by the time I returned so I waited a few days thinking it might have been me who placed the socks on her foot incorrectly, but No, They were a little too big for her tiny Feet ! Bella and I returned and met Colin at the Cash Register, again a Very welcoming young man. I explained the situation to him and he told me he had an XXS Size at another location and would have them sent over ! He would call me when they arrived ! Sure enough he left a Voicemail and I Dropped back in. I met another young girl with an Unusual Name who assisted me immediately, Also So Very Nice ! We tried them on Immediately and the XXS Socks Fit Perfectly !! What a Great Experience at this store ! Jovi was such a help and made a solid recommendation of a beef cheek roll chew which was thick and dense for our boy. We also found some great deals like a cooling vest at half off.
