I'm really not sure what all of the areas separated by glass are for, and there wasn't anyone around to help. I was looking for something specific for my dog, but never could find an associate walking around in the store. There were no customers at the checkout counter so I was walking up to the girl there and she turned away and walked into the back. I thought that was kind of rude so I waited. But after a couple of minutes I gave up and left the store. I hate that is the only big pet store in town and I guess I will try some of the smaller locally owned ones.

She said that's too small and refused to sell me the fish. I couldn't believe it. I told her I also have a larger one. She literally called me a liar. At that point I asked to speak to the manager. She said she was the manager and would not sell me the fish. I've been doing business with Petco for 20 years but I will never walk through their doors again. I don't like being called a liar. I have deleted the Petco app from my phone. I strongly advise others to do the same.

He showed me the schedule for their chick arrivals and even though I am from out of town I will definitely be back by when my chick type does arrive. I love having this family-run option to buy all my livestock needs. My only regret is how much business I gave to the big box store up until now. I 100% did the right thing as far as checking if she had a chip. The animal control office that I met in Elgin told me I could keep her because she didn't have a chip but I said no she's so sweet, nice and well taken care of that I wanted to give the owners a chance. So I talked to Allison for the weekend and then they close for 2 days and then I talked to Wendy and everything changed. It is just such BS it's really sad because they're in desperate help for dogs to be adopted. Then another poor girl calls me Wednesday morning at 9:15 to tell me 6 days later the owner claimed her. I will and would not ever do business with this place they are crooked.

I had an incredible experience at LA Pawz. Moxie was professional, communicative, and very kind to…read moremy kitty. My cat got a bath w/ degreaser and sanitary trim, and she's never been silkier. Moxie sat down with me and walked me through her process, asking questions to give my cat the most benefiical experience possible. The waiting room is stunning and has every ammenity one could possibly need (food, drinks, media entertainment, private room for work, hot tub, gym, beautiful outdoors). I also got a report card at the end to keep track of services and recommendations for the future. We will definitely be back!

I was feeling overwhelmed grooming my long haired ragdoll cat myself. Youtube wasn't cutting it…read more so, a quick internet search led me to LA Austin Pawz. Booking was easy. Communication was timely. The owners are warm, attentive, and really thoughtfully organized. I'm rarely impressed and was really blown away. Grooming can be scary for cats but mine was such a happy girl. We will be returning clients!
