Definitely worth checking out, but I'd give them a quick call first to confirm when it's happening. They also have a punch card program, and I grabbed a knife bag for $5 that's totally worth it. All in all, it's a solid neighborhood hardware store-with friendly staff, fair prices, and plenty of parking in the strip mall area.

While I understand that employees may have busy days, treating customers with respect and offering assistance is crucial. Found out the next day that I was charged sales tax. Called the store talked to some guy said bring your sales ticket in and we will make it right. Went to the store a week later, three women standing to the side talking I asked is the store MGR here, one of the women said I AM THE MANGER WHAT DO YOU NEED! I explained the problem she said WE WERE TRAINING NEW HELP AND YOU NEED TO BE MORE UNDERSTANDING like it was my fault for the mistake. She took for "E V E R" to refund my sales tax money and at the end she said you are tax exempt! I said "OH REALLY! A month later was in another Harbor Store Geneva, NY and during check out I was talking to the cashier about the sales tax problem at Harbor Freight store in Canandaigua and she actually apologized for the way the manager in the Canandaigua store acted. I told her it wasn't her fault she said I know but that's not now we treat our customers either we have Mennonites in here all the time and we all know they are tax exempt. The long and the short of this experience is the refund in that Canandaigua store was around $60.00 and change "BUT" you know I can't write it off on my taxes as an expense because on that sales ticket it says (R E F U N D) $60.00 and change even though I spent will over $600.00!
