We tried Trackside for the first time and loved it! Great prices, great food, and the staff was so personable. Everyone seemed to know everyone and there were clearly a lot of regulars. The wait time for the food was short but it was also very busy inside, so that tells you how good the food is. Give it a try if you haven't! We didn't mind stopping at the ATM to come here. I would go back, but I wouldn't wait in line. Trackside is definitely keeping it real. Try to get in early as the place is very small and can get cramped. I lucked out and sat at the counter with no one next to me until the end of my meal. It was 100% better than when the stool was filled. Felt like I was in an airplane seat. The service is really what stood out to me, that was great. The food? priced right but nothing to brag about. My hash was room temp, my benedict had no hollandaise sauce and the potatoes were under cooked, almost hard. I was surprised. This place came highly recommended, and it did not disappoint. I arrived a little before 8AM and had a choice of tables up back (the counter seats were full). By the time the rest of our party arrived at 8:15 or so, the place was packed and there was a line forming outside. I can definitely see why! Had a homemade corned beef hash and American cheese omelet w/rye toast & homefries. I had heard raves about the homemade hash, and it was REALLY GOOD! Price was reasonable, and the waitress was very friendly to our party of four. The one bit of constructive criticism I'd offer is re. the coffee. Unless I missed it, I didn't see a stronger alternative offered on the menu. I like my coffee to have a kick to it, and the coffee at your fine cafe doesn't. Overall still absolutely worthy of the 5 stars, because everything else was so good! read more

My daughter has treatments in Exeter on a weekly basis. This is my new hangout while I wait for her. The food is delicious, not greasy. The wait staff and owner, friendly and welcoming. I have ate here several times, but this time i had a waitress named maggie. she gave us horrible attitude, and was disrespectfully to us. overall ruined my experience here and made me not wanna come in again. she just handed us plates not giving it to the correct people who order it and rushed our whole experience. also forgetting some of our food we ordered. she's very messy when serving and has no manners. so if you go here and wanna actually enjoy your meal, ask to not have maggie :). read more

Go into Trackside with an open mind. It's in the back of a convenience store. It's small with a bar area and a small dining area too. I can say, with absolute certainty, that trackside has the best pancakes I have ever and probably will ever have. Their blueberry pancakes are amazing and HUGE! I got two and couldn't finish them. We arrived in Exeter and were looking for a place that served a typical eggs and ham kind of breakfast. This is where we stumbled to. I'll start by saying the food was alright. Nothing special, but not bad. However, I can only rate this a 2 star due to the actual restaurant. Firstly, it's tucked in behind a corner store; extremely run down, and kind of dirty. Only about 7 tables. The meal was similar to that of a "truck stop" breakfast - Greasy. And the atmosphere makes you want to eat quick and run. And if you need to use the restrooms; hold it! Disgusting! Waitresses were very friendly though. This place will do the trick if you can't find anything else. read more

This is going to be our new go to breakfast place! If you can find it I highly recommend Trackside cafe for breakfast. My wife says it's like a breakfast speakeasy and I think that's kinda cool and exactly right. The difference between a regular speakeasy and this place is the friendliness of the staff , they were awesome! Attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. This morning our breakfast included a breakfast burrito which was stuffed with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and cheese and was excellent according to my wife. I ordered what I think what was the Exeter special, 2 eggs, 2 French toast, 2 bacon, 2 sausage and home fries. Believe it or not I added a side of white toast and a side of hollandaise to this massive breakfast and I ate. The whole. Thing! Everything was fantastic and we will be going back soon. Blueberry pancakes are the size of your head...one was plenty and super tasty. Definatly a must go if you are near by in hampton beach! This place is easily the nicest place we have ever eaten. The pancakes are the size of your face and the Texas French Toast is fluffy and perfectly cooked. My boyfriend and I each ordered a ton of food and it is the first time we both finished it. The staff is super friendly and were patient with us when we weren't ready to order. The food came out fast, but it wasn't rushed. If you sit at the bar, you can practically see the food being made. If you're from out of town like we were, you'll get alot of laughs from the interactions of the regulars and the staff. We made sure to leave a generous tip. read more

Every time I go I get the "buff chicken" sandwich with French fry's and it never disappoints. The fries are cooked to 100% perfection and the "buff chicken" is some of the best in town. Like another review stated, TC is a "hole in the wall" in a "hole in the wall". Easy to just drive by, but you would be really missing a great breakfast. Service is very friendly and food is well prepared. Home made hash is delicious. There was a line to get in but it moved right along. Grandma also liked the western scramble.
