Probably one of the best and my favorite place to get tea. They have a variety of teas you can choose from and in your drink, you can add up to 3 flavors. The best part is that they have customer favorites already so if you don't know what combination to make, they have a list of combinations that are customer favorites. When you walk in, they give out some samples of their teas as well. My brother had a sample of their tangerine green tea and he was hooked and ended up getting it. I really liked the flavor of it as well but I was looking to get a milk tea, since that's my favorite. I got the Peach Rose Milk Tea and it tasted AMAZING. They give you a decent size and the cost is pretty low. The atmosphere is friendly and fun and I would love to come here again. A haven for all adventurous boba drinkers, I give TPumps credit for offering something not many other boba places offer: heavy customization of not just things like sweetness or ice, but the flavor of tea itself. Because of this, I know a lot of people swear by TPumps, and don't get me wrong, I definitely think it's a great boba place, but their "create your own mixture" approach isn't really for me, and this might be a mental thing, but I've always thought they were a little too reliant on syrups. The whole gimmick here is that you can heavily customize your drink by picking from a huge list of flavors and combining up to three to create the perfect concoction just for you. You can also customize your milk (soy, whole, etc) and the type of base tea (black, oolong, jasmine, etc). I always favor the more simple milk tea flavors, so like I mentioned above, this approach wasn't exactly for me, but I can easily see why so many people love it here. The establishment itself is very nice inside and you can immediately tell it's a bit more we'll kept than your average hole in the wall boba place, which I appreciate. The saving grace for me is the quality of boba specifically, which in my opinion is VERY high. I've never had an instance where I've felt it's too mushy or too firm. I tend to lean towards favoring firmer boba, and this place satisfies me without turning away those that don't like firm boba. Everyone wins! All in all I find myself coming here if I'm ever near rancho or upland, but since I'm Pomona based there's plenty of local boba places I'll go to before making the trip here. Tried Tpumps for the first time yesterday. The place seems like a cool place to hang out and the menu is pretty extensive. But I went there for the drinks, which were lacking. I ordered the guava peach green milk tea with boba. The boba was decent, but the drink tasted very watered down. I didn't taste any tea flavor or guava or peach. Sorry, but Ding Tea is 10 times better. This is closed to my house, but I will drive the additional distance to get more quality tea drinks. read more

I love Tpumps but came tonight and was very disappointed with the amount of people not wearing mask and not following the 6ft social distancing rule. We asked the girls working the register if they're not following the state ordinance and they said the owner said they can't refuse service. This is very disappointing and concerning as the COVID cases keep rising. Some of us have babies or family members that have underlying health conditions. We counted the number of people in line that hadn't ordered that were not wearing mask and there was 15 out of 31 people not wearing mask and there were 12 not wearing mask that were waiting for drinks. People are not wearing them because places are not enforcing them. I would hate to do this but if we come back and employees/business are not enforcing the law I will call that health department. Or it's just a matter of time that someone else will. It's reckless and selfish to not wear them and not enforce them. read more

This place has been on my list for "boba places" to try, so it's about time! Location/Interior: Not much in the shopping center, so there's plenty of parking and right next to Upland High School, so I'm sure they get lots of business from there. Inside is simple, and there's a fair amount of seats. Drinks: Interesting concept, which allows for an unlimited amount of drink combinations! I got a Vanilla Rose Honey Green MT and my sister got a Salted Caramel Cookie Dough Black MT. We got both of ours with regular everything. Not too bad for taste! My drink definitely had the honey taste, but it overpowered the rose and vanilla. Not much of a tea taste though which is what I was hoping for. Maybe will choose less flavors next time. I heard TPumps just opened up five minutes from my work so I decided to stop by on my lunch break. There are A LOT of flavors. A lot of variety. The cashier offered me samples once it was my turn to order. Green Apple lychee, peach? tea, and salted Carmel milk tea. they also had blueberry guava out in the area to self serve your sample. The blueberry guava was actually very syrupy. Kinda like cough syrup. I was anxious to try the other fruit flavors she was sampling but they were actually so refreshing! They weren't syrupy or felt weighed down. Even the salted caramel black tea was soooo right. My drink came out super fast. I already made up my mind before I got there. Strawberry black milk tea with red bean as my topping. There was a Tuesday special and my drink was upgraded to the larger size for free. Larger cause the regular size is large lol. My drink only came out to 3.50!!!! It came out soooooo nice. I think if I order that drink again I'll bump down the sweetness because the red bean at the bottom was pretty sweet. Ordered 3 drinks, only received 2. Expect to wait a while in line because this place gets crowded. Like was out the door when I got there. Associates were nice to offer samples to waiting guests. I asked an associate if my third drink was on it's way, the associate replied she wasn't sure. I did not feel like waiting in line again for another 15 to 20 minutes just to ask if I was going to receive my third drink or have to order it again. I paid cash, and did not receive a receipt after purchase. I signed up for the Loyalty Program and received 3 points, so I am assuming each drink is 1 point? That's the only clue I have to purchasing 3 drinks. Pretty disappointed because their sample drinks were really yummy. So either they forgot to make it or someone else got my order. Okay, personally, I'm pretty original when it comes to boba. Just the standard milk tea is always my go-to, so the thought of fruity flavors and extra options usually scares me. I went with the strawberry peach green milk tea and it was delicious. It was light, minimally fruity, with an amazingly fresh-tasting green tea taste. The boba was soft and chewy, not highly flavored, but honestly just perfect for me. I will say that some flavors tend to be overbearing on others. For example, my boyfriend ordered the almond gingerbread black milk tea and it was way too sweet and barely had any almond taste to it. Either way, the service is phenomenal. The quality of the tea, milk tea, boba, and service is just awesome. The prices aren't too expensive ($3-$4 for a decent sized cup), the tea has a lot of flavor and is just really refreshing, and the workers are usually very kind. My favorite drinks are the rose vanilla green milk tea with almond milk and boba and the blackberry peach black tea with boba (normal sweetener). Any drink you order will be super good and they even encourage you to ask for a new drink if it isn't up to your standards (I don't think people actually do that though). Yeah, the line is usually out the door unless you time your visit right. The past couple times I have gone, I went on a Monday or Thursday at around noon and there wasn't too long of a line. When you get your drink, they tell you if u don't like it let me know we can get you a different one. Now, staff seems to be not in the mood of working. I waited a little while whether she's coming back but she didn't so I asked one of the Aries if I can get my drink and then she came back and she said she got it.
