I don't recall how long I waited for but waiting for the drinks were a lot faster than placing the order. The way the menu works is you pick flavors you want in your drink and what toppings you want. I find that more difficult cause I have no idea what flavors work with what. There were specialty drinks too but I wasn't really in the mood for fruity drinks. We ended up getting regular thai tea and chocolate milk tea w/50% sugar. The Thai tea was good and so was the chocolate but it was really sweet despite it only being 50% sweet. read more

Was overwhelmed by the expansive menu when I came in, but luckily the lady who took my order was helpful. I liked that she had a mic so I could hear her clearly. I ended up panicking and getting my go-to boba order - taro black tea with brown sugar boba. It was good! I wish the taro flavor was a little stronger and that it wasn't so watery. I was very full by the end of it all, and I don't know what contributed to it but it started tasting a little off about halfway through anyway. I actually enjoyed my visit here, the staff was friendly and welcoming and the person who took my order was friendly as well. We ordered three drinks: *Iced Pumpbo Salted Caramel Coconut Black Milk Tea *Passion Fruit Tangerine Guava Green Tea *Guava Peach Green Milk Tea All the drinks were tasty and refreshing, full of flavor and good taste! The pricing was reasonable as well, $6 for an iced pump-bo which is their large size (32oz)! Most days a regular size is over $6 at other places, so this is a steal in my books! Took a star off because for first timers like me, the menu and ordering process can be a bit confusing, but they do have recommended drink flavors, or you can make your own combination. I ordered the chocolate cookie dough with light boba. The size I got was called Pumpo which was huge so I couldn't finish it. I would suggest getting the smaller size which is called the Tpump. It was surprising delicious! There's been times where I've been to boba places and the tapioca balls were hard or shriveled up - so nasty! But the tapioca balls here are perfect and have a great chew. My drink was pretty sweet but I like it like that. You always have the option of telling them how sweet you want it too. I definitely suggest coming here if you're craving a tasty boba drink. I like how they also have a wall you can draw on to keep you busy while you wait for your drink to be made. read more

They have a big variety of options available. I always get the strawberry, peach, mango black milk tea with very light sugar. Their drinks are really sweet, so I recommend getting less sugar. On Tuesdays, it's a free upgrade to a Pumpo size (32 oz). Such a great deal, but I can never finish their 32 oz cup. They recently raised their prices, but still very worth it for the size. I love Tpumps! Unfortunately they're locations are pretty far from me (East Bay) so I don't get to go very often. Was in SF to play tourist and ended up stopping by here. They currently have the inside of the store closed. You order at the door and there's a window to pick up your order so don't get dissuaded by the long lines outside. It moves pretty quickly. Tpumps offers the customers that ability to make a lot of customizations. They have a whole list of different fruit flavors that you can mix and match to make your own unique flavor of milk tea. Fiancé and I got: Rose Vanilla Green Milk Tea​​ and Salted Caramel Cookie Dough Black Milk Tea. Both tasted great as per usual. I've had T Pumps in LA so I new what to expect in terms of drinks, however, this is the best customer service I've ever experienced at a boba shop. The girl at the cash register was telling just jokes and gave her recommendations for the drinks. T Pumps boba is amazing! It's so cheap, like you can't beat $3.50 boba for 24 oz anywhere else, especially for SF standard of living. They have so many combinations to choose from and you can mix and match everything. And everything is delicious and refreshing. Get their popping boba while at it! The only downside to this place is that there is no tables nor chairs so you can't actually stay in here to enjoy your drink. Been coming to Tpumps for years now, and even though my tastes have changed, I still love it here! The value is unbeatable (especially on Tpumps Tuesdays!) Parking is always a hassle if you're not lucky, and the line is always out the door! Nonetheless service is super fast and don't keep you waiting. The variety you can get here is crazy! Your drink is what you make of it - all the different combination possibilities is what makes it fun for me :) I actually keep a note in my phone which I update to keep track of the different drinks I've had! In the city for the day and wanted to grab a drink for my drive back to the East Bay. I've had Tpumps before in the East Bay and am definitely attracted by their big pumbo cups. I think for Tpumps it's quantity over quality. In the time of covid, there's social distancing markers on the sidewalk. They call you using a mic when your drink is ready. Line moved quickly and drink was made quickly as well. There's a bunch of different flavor options you can add to create your drink. Because I'm not crazy ambitious, so I chose one from the recommended favorites. Order: -Rose vanilla green milk tea (light sweetness): It was pretty good. It tasted really sweet though, almost like a 75% or 100%. I think it's because of the syrups. But the drink was massive. The tea flavor was subtle. The honey boba was perfect, soft and chewy I wished they had wiped down the drinks better. The outside was definitely sticky so it wasn't very comfortable to hold. read more

Limitless combination and customization opportunities with amazing flavors, what more could you ask for? Tpumps allows you to mix and match up to 3 of their flavors, choose what base (green or black tea) to use, and if you'd like milk in it or not. You're also allowed to alter to sweetness levels! I tried a combination of banana, blueberry, and raspberry with a black tea base that was lightly sweet. All the flavors blended well together to create a smoothie-like taste, and I was very happy with how it turned out. They also got the sweetness levels down to my ideal specification. Their tapioca balls are the softest I've ever tried and I was super happy with them. Definitely give them a try if you want a good drink! read more

TLDR: Barista shaker lid found in sealed drink cup I always go here with my friends every week for their Tuesday special deal, their drinks have always been spot on and their boba is just the right amount of chewy. HOWEVER, as of today my drink came with a little unwanted addition which was the boba shaker lid that the baristas used which was not very appreciated. I noticed while waiting for the drink that the barista had spilt another drink into one of the cups on accident and just laughed it off which I paid no mind to as why would I right?
