Classic Black Tea / 紅茶 ($6.25) - No Sugar, Less Ice, Boba, Grass Jelly, Agar Boba
    Elena N.

Date: Sunday, April 20th, 2025 What: Boba Tea Delivery Ordered Thru: DoorDash DoubleDash Time Placed: around 2:15pm Time Arrived: around 15+ mins later Delivered to: Outer Richmond *Classic Black Tea / 紅茶 ($6.25) - No Sugar, Less Ice, Boba, Grass Jelly, Agar Boba I was on a boba tea kick so decided to try SK. It popped up when I made a wine delivery order, so I just added this at no extra delivery charge. Just a tip on top. I normally like roasted or strong teas. This one was a little more mellow than I prefer, but still fine. The boba was soft with a nice chew. The agar boba, same with the chew but more in a kinda springy crunchy sense. Not sure how to describe it, but hopefully that paints a picture. I liked the texture, so it was fine with me. The grass jelly was silky and smooth. Price wise, a tea with three toppings on DD - not a bad at all. If I want a basic tea, would consider them again. REVIEW #3755

They also have ice cream there, which is great for a warm day.

Generous portions and good ice cream. No fancy toppings or extras--just simple ice cream done well. It's nice to have an easy, in-and-out ice cream spot in the neighborhood. Perfect place to stop on a warm day.

Swung by SK Tea after getting dinner nearby on Irving around 7pm on a Monday, and it was empty. There's some seating, and cute decorations up on the wall, but is a little cluttered with supplies stacked up toward the back. The menu is pretty extensive, but still the typical classic boba shop offerings. There's just one worker at the cashier, and I believe someone in the back making drinks, so I'd imagine service would get slow if you're ordering a large number of drinks at once. -mango green milk tea w/lychee jelly (less ice, 80% sweet; $5.76): this had a light floral jasmine fragrance, with a sweet, jammy artificial mango flavor. This was on the sweeter side, but I liked that the drink was creamy and not watery. Overall, solid boba place that isn't overpriced. Nothing fancy about the tea or drinks, but gets the job done.

Good boba, reasonable prices, and quick! We were near pineapple king bakery and parked near this boba shop so we got boba while we waited. Good boba, good flavor in the peach green milk tea and it also came with some bits of peach in it. The mango slushy was maybe not quite as sweet/the mango wasn't as fully ripe as I would have hoped, but still good. Some tables inside to sit at, but we took the drinks to go.

I've seen this corner spot change names so many times over the years. SK Tea seems to have held it down now. Probably the first time I've come in a long time, but I think drinks here are a-okay. It's not something I would crave or go out of my way for, but if you're local to the area and want something quick and easy it'd be this place. Reminds me heavily of those boba spots you would go to after school because it was close by and cheap. Lots of seating if you ever want to sit down here. Pricing is very fair with drinks hovering around the low $5-$6 with most of the fruit teas getting just a bit under $5. We ordered the mango passion fruit green tea 80% sweet, and honeydew green tea 50% sweet. Service was fast. Total after tip was about $11. Both drinks were decent. You could taste some of the tea but also the artificial fruit flavor which can sometimes be nostalgic.

In my opinion the best popcorn chicken in the area! Juicy and yummy! Also very affordable compared to other places. I also love their super fruit green tea

This place was nice to stop by and get a break from the chilly air. There's lots of choices from the drinks to the ice cream flavors. Items were served quickly and with a smile. Will be back!

Popular boba place in Sunset. Tried this a bit ago and thought the ice teas were good. There are so many boba tea places in the Sunset and sometimes it's hard to choose. Not themed like others, but this one seems pretty good.

Ordered a grape with aloe boba, 30% sweet and half ice. Came out a tad sweet but still tasty. Cute interior and right on the corner so lots of sunlight. Service was good and straight to the point. Exactly what we expected, I'd come back again.

I was sitting here with my watermelon bubble drink thinking about One Direction long time..and how time has passed in the Sunset..but these people don't care..I was the only person inside and I felt like I was wasting away in bubble tea-ville.

Honey Green Milk Tea with Boba and Taro
    Generous Y.

Delicious drinks with pretty average toppings. Got two drinks delivered. Added some modifications I usually wouldn't in order to take advantage of delivery perks but was not disappointed at all. Honey Green Milk Tea with Boba and Taro - boba was chewy but not too flavorful, maybe a hint of honey but could also be from the drink itself. However, the taro was very genuine, flavorful, and soft. Honey green milk tea was rich and slightly sweet at 50% sugar. Taste of tea shone alongside a hint of creaminess from milk. A very solid green milk tea. Cheese Watermelon with Aloe Vera - watermelon puree was extremely refreshing. Strong watermelon flavor while it's still in season at least. Generous amount of cheese crema. They used a different, taller cup for this drink not sure if it's because of the drink itself or the crema. Aloe vera was normal, but a good pairing with the refreshing fruit drink. Would be happy with or without the crema, the watermelon by itself was tasty.

Incredibly refreshing and packed with lots of fresh fruits. First time here but would come back again for this.

Good, unassuming little spot for a good boba drink and popcorn chicken/chicken wings. Not very expensive. Tasty and relatively quick service. Small clean spot.

I love their snacks. The fried calamari and octopus are delicious. The pieces are plump and juicy. Their boba drinks are good too.

Refreshing drinks! I like the red bean matcha smoothie and Mango smoothie. We also tried their egg puff, which was nice, fluffy, and eggy.

Not only does it have all of that, but the drinks aren't just pretty to look at, they're actually so good. I also love how community-oriented the space feels. It has such a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. I even signed up for their rewards program because I already know I'll be back. I didn't get a chance to explore the back of the store during my last visit, so that's at the top of my list next time. Such a fun place to spend a slow morning or afternoon!

I have gone to Blackbird a handful of times and have enjoyed the experience each time. Blackbird is primarily a bookstore, but they do have an outdoor window where you can order drinks ranging from matcha (Rocky's Matcha, if you're curious about which brand they use), lattes, and tea. They also carry a good amount of pastries (even mid-day, they have a lot of goodies), which I really appreciated. When you order your drink, you have to enter inside the bookstore to wait for your drink to be called, but you can take the time to stroll around and look at their book selection and trinkets. Heads up: the seating here is limited but very lovely. Inside, there are a couple of community tables, but their outdoor area is absolutely magical, with lush greenery and benches for you to enjoy your drinks. This time around, I got one of their seasonal drinks, a honey lavender vanilla latte, and I paired it with an Earl Grey olive oil loaf. The portion of the pastry was generous and moist, while the icing was not too sweet. Overall, a great pick for a cafe if you're in the area.

Brief Summary: - New favorite place to eat mille crepe cake…read more- Not so sweet, easy to eat - Beautiful and peaceful interior - Near the MUNI N line I was looking for a new cake place to try, so when I searched for one in San Francisco, this one appeared in the first page. It was near the districts I like to go, and because I haven't been there in a while, I thought it was a good opportunity to visit here. This cake shop is very close to one of the MUNI line stops if you take the N line. The store had a sign propped up with the list of the mille crepe cakes and some of the chiffon. The basque cheesecake selection were not one there, so I assume that these are new items. The interior of this shop is so cute. It's as if I walked in a quaint early spring environment. The initial plan was to buy the cakes to take home, but I was now interested to stay to have a drink before buying the cake. There were seats in the further end of the building, so we sat there, relaxed while drinking coffee. I ordered 3 different cakes of different flavors - earl grey mille crepe cake - pandan chiffon cake - tiramisu basque cheese cake If someone asked me which one I liked the most, I would take time deciding because I loved all of them. All of them were not so sweet and also easier to eat; even the basque cheesecake. I showed the basque cheesecake photo to my colleague, and they were surprised: 'it's almost like having 2 cakes in 1!' was the memorable response to it. I also loved the mille crepe cake. This one left a fun and colorful impression of crepe cakes. I got the earl grey and I loved how it was almost like drinking an earl grey tea at the same time. I tasted the bergamot oil from the tea. I also liked how the crepe cake was overall moist and juicy (I wonder if it's because I chose a tea themed crepe cake?) I love the chiffon cake, and this also topped with the bias of me loving pandan. I was also surprised that the cream area was not just cream but packed with coconut meat. It gave a nice chewy flavor in between the cushion soft cake layer. The cake top decoration is so subtle yet gorgeous, it's a great cake to serve on celebrations too.
