10 years later.. 1. I remember being blown away by the amount of flavors available when I first tried Tpumps 10 years ago. 2. Not much has changed because I'm still overwhelmed. On a recent visit, I ended up picking one of the customer favorites - brown sugar lychee black milk tea with honey boba and half sugar. And I surprisingly enjoyed it! 3. At half sugar, it was still too sweet for me so it definitely felt like a dessert instead of a drink, but I would get it again with less sugar. 4. I think it's worth it especially if you come on Tuesday because all orders are upgraded to a larger size. I think I need to revisit and revise this review. I recently revisited this boba spot and decided to provide a bit more insight. Tpumps is very interestingly positioned with the overall boba market. They are low quality drinks for high volume and inexpensive prices. There 32 oz drinks for $6.50 are absolutely unheard of within the current boba economy. Most drinks average $6.50 for a relatively simple classic milk tea (think iTea) and can even go up to $10 for speciality drinks (Hidden Spot). Tpumps is the complete opposite where they give you a lot of drink for not very much. With that being said, their drinks are very clearly artificial. It is on display the number of syrup pumps that they have and the drink flavor reflects this flavor profile. There is nothing particularly standout about there drinks in terms of how it tastes. With this being said, the drinks are of a passable quality where it is enjoyable to continue drinking (i.e. it is not difficult to finish the entire 32 oz cup). A brief comment on their service is that they are SUPER efficient. You will often see the line extending out the door but still be able to get in and out within 15 minutes (mostly because they use a similar base for all their drinks and just pump syrup in). However, it is a quick stop which is definitely a plus in my book. Overall, I think this boba spot is definitely a relatively inexpensive stop if you are craving something sweet but cheaper. read more

They offer a wide variety of flavored drinks to choose from but their Baristas are knowledgeable, fast and hilarious to talk with. This business is full of young vibrant workers who make their Boba teas on point. The Tuesday free upgrade draws a large crowd and lines can get long but definitely worth the wait.
