I bought oils here at the parts area since I've been getting my maintenance done here. This is my first time buying parts from here too. I came here when I was in the area even though I am based in Milpitas. When I bought the container, I noticed that the top flaps were already opened but did not pay any attention to it since I thought the worker just opened it to check to see if it was still full. It wasn't until I got home and inspected it and saw that I didn't even get all the bottles I'm supposed to get. You're telling me that I roughly paid $45 for 5 bottles when I should've gotten 6??? I'm writing this review for the future customers so that they're aware but this is really unprofessional from this business.

Absolutely horrible experience with the pre owned sales manager Amir. Very Obvious & apparent racial animus. We drove over an hour to test drive a 55k dollar truck and as soon as he seen my wife and I, me. A 61 yr old black man and my wife a 50 yr old black woman he couldn't not hide his disappointment. Which was extremely telling and very shocking to us being that he is as melanated as I. The entire dealership has a very negative unfriendly vibe, when we arrived waiting for Amir, 10-15 mins being stared at and still not one single sales person even spoke. Shame on the whole dealership. Less than 1 star for me .

This is my second time experience at the Toyota Sunnyvale. I went once and we purchased a Toyota Camry for my friend and it was a really good experience. Today they had free hot dogs and the person who helped us today was Jose. He was wonderful and although we didn't come home with a car today he made us feel welcome. We appreciate his time and effort he put into our situation/questions.

The service advisor John Biala very friendly, attentive and patient. As for the service tech assigned to check and replace car battery, I'm not sure if it's against Toyota policy to clean the area worked on. But as a service tech myself I would've took pride in my work and cleaned up excess dirt or cleaned up mess I make. But overall okay work.

Oh, where to begin... I would give this place 1 star, but at least they have a coffee machine and a bathroom. To start, our salesperson (whose name I will keep to myself) was a very nice person. However she doesn't seem to know anything about cars or she is very new. Simple questions and everything is "I don't know". What is the mpg after full electric... has this car only been in California... what is the warranty... "I don't know". She then has to flip to her iPhone to look up the info and then forgets the question. That is only the sales part, wait till we get to documentation to actually buy a car. Bad communication, flip flops on what is needed, grabs help and they give you some other answer. It's a little weird that the company pushes hard for you to finance with TFS or even one of their dealer finance banks. If you pay cash, well a check because they don't take cash, you fill out a credit application. I get in theory why this is needed, but you can't come up with a different document? It has credit written all over it. Granted there isn't SSN, but still, name, address DOB. Even calling the GM over to explain, doesn't get you an answer that quite makes sense. However car was purchased due to the color, but other dealers have roughly the same price for the same car. Yes, they will say oh, but is it the same car with the same features... most likely yes. Very disappointing experience and even though this dealership prides itself on a different customer experience meaning you have the same sales person throughout the whole buying process, it still feels like the old car salesman days. Keep in mind basic sales training would be to greet a customer and shake their hand before and after the sale, we got neither. I guess it's all about the sales for this place, common courtesy is dead once money is in the pocket. Will never return and would highly recommend you shop elsewhere. Will not get the car serviced here either even tho apparently there are 2 included.

The cars were ok, can't expect much from a lower end car dealer. We sat down with the guy who goes over all the numbers Alberto. I wanted to test drive because I feel it's important to get the feel of the car before we invest any type of monetary decisions. Especially because of the different ranges of cars we were looking at one luxury and the other a work truck. As soon as we sat down we got a big narrative about how they are expanding and that they don't really need to sell a car to us because they make millions a month. Anyhow the guy also explained to us that you "CANNOT TEST DRIVE ANYWHERE, AT ANY DEALERSHIP", until you agree on how much you want to buy the car for. That caught my attention because we just came from a different dealership and they let us test drive no problem. I had mentioned that to the rep., and he said "I'm not here to argue". I had no intention to argue, I simply just wanted the truth. You can't go around lying to your potential clients like they live under a rock and don't know what 1+1 equals. If I'm going to invest cash and buy a car outright I want to check and test drive. I don't need a "full experience", I was just asking for the basic concepts. Anyhow needless to say, we left. Not buying a car here. Experience was mediocre. Thank you for your reply. I fully understand that dealerships need to make a reasonable profit and that pricing negotiations are part of doing business. My offer was simply a starting point based on my own market research and comparable values. Negotiation is not personal it's business, and I respect that. What I do want to clarify is the sequence of events regarding the test drive. Under standard California dealership practices including verification of a valid driver's license pursuant to the California Vehicle Code §12500 and routine documentation procedures test drives are typically offered as part of the normal evaluation process once a customer expresses interest. In my case, the opportunity to test drive the vehicle was not meaningfully presented until I was already leaving the dealership. By that point, the interaction had shifted almost entirely to pricing. From a buyer's standpoint, it is difficult to align on value whether referencing KBB or any other pricing guide without first being able to evaluate the vehicle through a proper test drive. You mentioned my offer of $20,000 on a $41,000 vehicle. Of course, if a dealership asks a customer what they are willing to pay before the vehicle is fully evaluated, the number may reflect a more cautious position. A test drive and thorough review often help narrow that gap because it allows the buyer to assess condition, performance, and overall value firsthand. Regarding paying cash, I did not expect that payment method alone required a discount. I simply stated that I was prepared to purchase immediately if we could come to terms. I'm not attempting to present an incomplete version of events only my genuine experience as it occurred. I wish your dealership well and hope future interactions with customers begin with the opportunity to evaluate the vehicle before focusing heavily on price.

I gotta say - this was a pretty seamless and straight-forward experience - something which is unusual and rare when buying a used car. Here's what really stood out to me from start to finish: - Greg was quick to respond to my initial text - We arranged a time to meet at his lot and when I showed up 10 minutes early, he was already there. Thanks for being early and not making me wait around on my lunch break. Appreciate you for that big time. - When it came time to deal, we had some negotiation, but it was not high pressure. He was informative and knew the vehicle and showed me how some of the storage and seats flipped up for loading. Very professional, good attitude. - We agreed on a price and sat down to sign paperwork. Wow, this is probably the fastest and easiest car buying paperwork I've ever filled out. He was very organized and presented the paperwork thoroughly and really didn't waste any time. The paperwork exercise literally took 15 minutes total, although he didn't seem rushed, just organized. What a time saver! Sometimes you don't realize how valuable your time is until someone works efficiently like this and it takes much less time than you expected. -I've had the car for a day now and there have been no surprises. I knew a bit about this model car before the purchase and it has lived up to my expectation. The car drives great and is in EXCELLENT condition for being a 100k mile car. It's just what I was looking for and I'm glad we could do a deal. It was very nice to meet you and a big thanks for making everything so smooth and easy!

Over the past few months, my son and I searched for affordable used cars, test-drove cars, shopped around for a good trade-in price for the minivan, and even posted the minivan on Marketplace. Yesterday, as I drove off the High Street bridge and returned home to Alameda, instead of turning left, I drove straight to Diamond Auto's lot. I recognized my son's dream car by the enormous spoiler on the back. I took it for a test drive. I sat with Alex to discuss the price. Today, my son and I test drove the car. We sat with Alex to discuss the price and the warranty (3-months, which isn't much, but it's 3-months longer than any other warranty we were offered). We came to an agreement. I gave Alex the keys to my beloved minivan (which is now for sale, by the way), a lump sum on my credit card, and drove away in a sporty sedan. It wasn't just that we found the right car at the right price today. We found the right salesperson. Alex is supporting the local community as well as his own family. He negotiates directly and clearly. He speaks respectfully to middle-aged women and teenage kids. No gimmicks. No pressure. No confusing equations. Tell him what you need, and he'll tell you what he needs. If it works, it works. If it doesn't, no pressure. I enjoyed doing business with him.

Their website made it easy to narrow our choices down to three cars before we even arrived, which helped take a lot of stress out of the process. When we got to the lot, the atmosphere immediately felt comfortable. Someone greeted us, let us know he was available if we had questions, and then gave us time to look around on our own. The lot was packed with cars, but the team cheerfully moved vehicles around so we could compare our options. They showed us practical features you don't always see on a spec sheet, like trunk space, rear AC vent locations, and USB ports, which really helped us eliminate some options. We test drove two cars, reviewed their deals, and met with Alex, who gave us his card. When we mentioned we wanted to look at other options they were completely understanding and didn't pressure us or ask for our contact information. We stopped by the nearby Toyota dealership since our old car was a Toyota, but the prices there were noticeably higher, even for used models. Two days later, we returned to Diamond Auto to try one more car. Alex even let us take it home to make sure it could handle our daughters' softball gear and our camping equipment. That extra step made a big difference. Once we decided it was the right fit, the financing process was quick and easy. We grabbed bagels next door while the paperwork was prepared, and less than an hour later we were driving home in our new car. It's been a month since we made our purchase and the car has been running great! We event took a road trip from Alameda to Portland and back. We are still thrilled with our purchase and will definitely return to Diamond Auto in the future!
