I have been service there for 2+ years and Allan was the best service advisor. I recently had to tow my car in. I called the next morning and was told my service advisor was Mike. He called me early afternoon to say my transmission was dead and it is cheaper to buy a new car. So brusque about it. Just wanted off the phone. I asked him a question about the recalls and he said he would check with technicians and call me back. That was at 2:00 on Wednesday. No call. I called the next morning at 11 and got his voicemail. Still no call back. I called again and he called me back around 2. Meanwhile I am so stressed that I need a new car. When he called me back he was rude and told me they were busy. I again asked about my car and he said to buy a new one. I asked what to do with the dead one and he said he doesn't know but I need to tow it out. Zero empathy or manners. I tried to ask another question and he told me they were busy. I told him (politely) that I was frustrated about how rude and dismissive he has been. He again told me they were busy and said he no more info for me. A little while later, the Service Manager called to try and smooth things over. Also said they were busy and that's why no one called me over 2 days to tell me about my car. Not an excuse. He told me what I could possibly do with my car. I did not even want to bother talking. On Saturday, I went in to pay and tell them the tow truck was going to be there. The guy who helped me was SO RUDE. Talking as he was walking away and told me it needed to be gone by 4. It was in the back and he said no one was allowed there. I asked how he the tow truck was supposed to get it if they could not go back there. He walked away and said he would get back to me. In usual style, he did not and I had to go find someone. Someone then pulled my car to the front. I realized once they say they weren't getting my money anymore then they had zero reason to be nice and/or helpful. I am super mellow and did not yell, etc. I politely told them on the phone that I was not happy with the level of service. FOLLOW UP: They missed an opportunity for a sale. Rather than ask if I would like to look at the used cars or even buy a new one, they brushed me off. I would have looked at cars as I don't have one now. Assuming sales and service don't work together. The 2 stars are for Allan. Zero for the rest of service. read more

Came in to use a promotional card I was sent in the mail (free oil change) and didn't make an appointment. I understand this was a mistake on my part, but the past times I've come to ford I remember not making an appointment twice and still being helped that day. Whatever, it's on me. Felt like I was being mistreated because I'm a woman. An employee, Steve, waved at me to move my car up, which I did, then he started laughing at me? Weird, maybe his coworker said something to him and it's unrelated, whatever. He comes to my window and apologizes for laughing at me ("Sorry for laughing at you ma'am") while he's still chuckling. Okay so you WERE laughing at me? Bro what did I even do. Then he asks for the last name on the appointment, I tell him I didn't make one and he replied in a jokingly-solemn tone "Oh what did you break??". What the hell? You assume because I brought my car in and I'm a woman that something's broken? Even as a "joke" saying something like that to a woman in a setting like this isn't funny. I'm surprisingly disappointed in this employee (Steve) as well because he's helped me in my past visits and he's never said anything like that before. I explain I wanted to use a free oil change promotional card I received in the mail and he says "we'll see if we can get you in today, but I'm not sure if we will since you didn't make an appointment" I tell him I understand and I'm sat there waiting for 10min then he comes back, fills in info on a clipboard w me and places a number on my key fob making it seem like I'll be helped. Cool ! I pull up and am waiting for another 10-15min when another man with glasses (he wasn't wearing a name tag, just a black shirt) comes up to me and basically reprimands me for not making an appointment and saying we're full for today. I'm confused because I feel like I was led to believe I was being helped and then another guy comes out saying I NEED to make an appointment. I say ok I will then he explains how to book an appointment (twice) and I leave. Honestly, I only came to ford because they sent me a free oil change card. If my ford explorer didn't have a giant cover on the underside of the vehicle blocking the oil filter/drain plug I would oil change my car by myself, as I do with my 2 other vehicles. I would rather go to jiffy lube, where they've never taken advantage of me being a woman and have consistently given 10/10 customer and vehicle service, and PAY for an oil change than to come back here and experience blatant misogynistic behavior again. read more

I called Sunnyvale Ford to ask about the 40,000-mile service for my 2021 Mustang Mach-E. Ben in the service department quoted me $1,000 for tire rotation and a coolant change. That's a lot of money for just those two things, and he never explained why I needed the coolant changed. When I asked why it was so expensive, he basically told me that was their price and asked if I wanted to do it or not. He was rude and seemed annoyed that I even asked. I'm not going to spend $1,000 without asking what I'm paying for. The way he handled a simple question was completely unacceptable. read more

Horrible service! I came to this dealership for oil change and ask them to fix a leakage in transmission. In fact they didn't fix anything and my car was just standing at the dealership for 17 days ! The worst dealership ever! Moreover they just forgot about me and kept my beautiful Lincoln Navigator for no reason until I called and argued with them! So after so many days I found my car covered with birds shit in dirtiest condition ever! So I needed to go polishing my car and thoroughly cleaned after these guys! Escape this dealership! read more

Extremely disappointing experience with the Ford service department in Sunnyvale. I originally brought my car in for a recall service, only to find out they didn't have the parts needed to complete it. While the car was there, I had a basic oil change done, but they added several services/items I did not need and I ended up being significantly overcharged. They rescheduled me to come back for the recall repair. I drove all the way back for my scheduled appointment, only to be told AGAIN that they didn't have the necessary parts. Even more frustrating, they told me they had been dealing with the parts issue all week--yet no one bothered to call or text me before my appointment to let me know. There is absolutely no excuse for allowing a customer to drive all the way to a scheduled recall appointment when you already know you don't have the parts to perform the work. Between the poor communication, unnecessary charges, wasted appointments, and complete lack of consideration for my time, I would not recommend this service department. read more

I must say their service department is great and so is the Service Manager Wilson and all the Service Dept Staff, recent over the years I have gone to Newman, but all the service staff there are great. I needed to have something taken care of; they made sure that it was done. I appreciate their honesty and their care for the customer. So, I just had some major work done on the car, and a few years prior the same. There is a reason they are always busy and many of the police and other emergency vehicles use them. Just let that sink in a bit :-) read more

Never again. I had another post previously here. But now this is proof how they operate. Be aware. Just because it says it on the computer print out doesnt mean they did it. Every day occurrence here. They just got caught this time. I sued this same Sunnyvale ford for the same thing in 2001. Awarded $587. HONESTLY. read more

Sunnyvale Ford - Got everything I asked for from those frickin lying conniving jerk offs at Sunnyvale ford - Car Dealers Near Me - Sunnyvale, California

Sunnyvale Ford I had one of the worst dealership experiences I've ever had at Sunnyvale Ford while attempting to purchase a Ford Raptor (Stock #S0652). I initially found the truck on Facebook Marketplace through their salesperson, Fernando, and then worked directly with their General Sales Manager, Mark. I made it very clear from the beginning that I am in the business and was ready to purchase at invoice pricing. I was also transparent that I was considering a Hennessey Ford truck at Ken Grody Ford, where I had already been offered 5.99% APR for 72 months through Ford Financial by buying down the rate. We agreed to very specific terms: * $2,700 under MSRP * $895 GAP * 5.99% APR for 72 months I authorized Mark to run my credit through Ford Financial ONLY. Instead, he ran my credit multiple times without my consent, claiming he was searching for a better rate. I now have multiple hard inquiries on my credit report. He eventually secured 5.99% through Bank of America instead of Ford Financial -- clearly to avoid buying down the rate as discussed. This was not what we agreed to, but because my credit had already been hit multiple times, I tried to move forward anyway. It gets worse. I clearly stated I would be the primary signer and my sister-in-law would be secondary. Mark approved an arrangement where my family would go in to complete her portion and then send me the contract to sign and notarize. My brother and sister-in-law drove FIVE HOURS to the dealership. When they got to Finance, we discovered my sister-in-law had been listed as the PRIMARY signer and the vehicle was registered to her address -- without my authorization or knowledge. This was a complete restructuring of the deal. Finance claimed this was the only way Bank of America would approve the loan. When I asked to go back to Ford Financial with me as primary, the rate magically jumped to 6.69%. I asked them to honor the original agreement and buy the rate down to 5.99% as promised. They refused. My family drove ten hours round-trip for nothing. No accountability. No effort to fix it. Just careless, unprofessional handling from management. The GM of the store Jim Popal did nothing to remedy the situation didn't even reply to my email complaint. If you value your time, your credit, and clear communication, I would strongly recommend shopping elsewhere. read more

I sold a F150 pickup truck to Sunnyvale Ford last week where Martin was instrumental in actively soliciting for buying my 2022 F150XL 4x4 crew cab pickup. His energetic and straight forward style really impressed me so much that in the future I will be buying Ford vehicles through him. read more

One hour before our appointment to purchase a used vehicle from Sunnyvale Ford for a price that was agreed to they sold the vehicle to someone else. We had already gone to the bank to get the payment funds. The appointment was scheduled by them and they did not indicate that there was a policy that would enable them to sell the vehicle before we arrived with payment. This was completely unprofessional and underhanded. Don't trust a word they say. read more

These guys are AMAZING! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We come here regularly for service, and are routinely impressed with the high level of professionalism in absolutely every respect. Thiago Caetano was our service advisor this last time and he was absolutely awesome...checking in regularly, working hard behind the scenes (he had to haggle with the insurance company some), and delivering a great piece of work at the end. Thank you Thiago and thank you Sunnyvale Ford! You guys rock! read more

DO NOT COME HERE. I could leave zero stars if I could. We signed a contract and we told the finance manager Luis to put me as the primary owner of the vehicle with my father as a co-sign. They call us back to resign paperwork as he mentioned that they accidentally put my dad as the primary owner, stating that it would be a quick fix by resigning papers and no numbers would change. Our fault for trusting them, but little did we know we get home to review the paperwork and the APR went up 1%. This caused the monthly payment to go up, but we didn't bat an eye. Then Luis calls me again a few days after resigning the paperwork and says I needed to pay an extra $1200 because the bank said I live in a "higher tax area". I told him we already resigned paperwork and we wouldn't be paying that as we did not agree to it. We go in to discuss options and they finally admit that it was a mistake on their end after blatantly continuing act like it wasn't their mistake and it's just "Uncle Sam". We speak with Mark the manager and after we say the customer should not be paying for a mistake they made, he says it was a system error when we redid the paperwork and that we needed to pay it no matter what. In the end, they covered the cost because they did not want to lose the sale, but watch out for these guys as they are sneaky and try to mess with the numbers behind the customer's backs. read more

Had a call and needed clarification on a few things, and Sagar was very helpful in answering all my questions!

If I could only leave 0 star I would. I purchased a vehicle from this dealershit and with bumper to bumper warranty coverage (he said) paid extra monthly for it too. so now that I have issue with just the cooling system, brought it to them to get it fix. its been over a week with no update, I even have to call them myself instead of them updating what is going on. Service department clerks has some attitude, no service supervisor around, and no manager around, so you are fcked. They have so much excuses so long story short the part is not covered under warranty. I highly recommend not to waste your time and money. They are fraud and bogus. Never trust this dealershit at all. read more

another update for the service department only-- i would say in the entire year of 2024 their customer service has improved tremendously!!! like any sane person, i would prefer to not have any car troubles at all... but if i do have any run ins and i stop by the shop, please keep up the momentum of having personable service!!! it goes a long way for sure read more

Sunnyvale Ford - coffee "station". coffee pods are provided by staff when asked... - Car Dealers Near Me - Sunnyvale, California

Really disappointed with service here at this dealer. My 2025 Ford Expedition has been in the shop for almost two months. All because one morning the key fob wasn't detected (but could still start car with phone). They claim to have fixed that issue but then ran into other problems they haven't been able to fix yet. I've called multiple times a week for updates and its always "Waiting on Ford..." "Ford told us to order a part, still waiting for the part" "Ford told us to order the same part again because maybe it will work this time". Ford said to order the same part 3 times. I have no confidence in their ability to fix this. They even called asking me about functionality that comes with the car standard as if it was an after market add-on, they asked that 1.5 months after taking the car in! When I called Ford customer care, their record what was happening was different from what I was told by this dealer. There's been times when they haven't heard any news from Ford in over a week. I've never gotten a sense of urgency or care to get this vehicle fixed. I've never been this disappointed in a new car and service in 20 years of owning multiple cars. My Ford is a lemon and I will never come to this dealer ever again. Edit: the dealer claiming they requested daily updates from Ford is at odds with what Ford has records of. read more

I have bought a vehicle from this dealership last week , I would not recommend coming here , I came in to trade in my vehicle for another vehicle and there were completely rude. The salesmen did not tell me anything about the car and when I tried to purchase the vehicle, they tried to charge an extra 5 thousand dollars for a warranty that I didn't even need To also add they sold me a lard with a broken key fob that they promised that they would change soon and I bought the vehicle which was a LIE. On top of that they have no respect for Veterans that served in the military, they will lie to you just to make a sale DO NOT COME HERREE !!! SAVE YOUR MONEY !! read more

Good customer service when your driving around with one of their vehicles. Then I asked for features that were only in a vehicle from a different dealer. I had a great experience with Sunnyvale Ford for my car service. I wanted to give them a glowing review, but then I got this emailing from SirusXM about getting service. Sunnyvale Ford gave away my private information and now I'm being solicited by other businesses. This is an invasion of privacy in my opinion and is really not acceptable. I did not opt in to this and I don't understand why I need to be subjected to solicitation just because I got a tire rotation. read more

I don't trust Sunnyvale Ford. I had to sell my 2016 Ford fusion due to transmission problems because they claim it wasn't them that caused a problem which it was may I add! They need to be held accountable for what they did to my vehicle and they won't take no accountability!! They did a emissions reset on my vehicle turned out. They entered the wrong emissions code which caused great damage to the transmission, but like I said, they don't wanna be accountable for that so I will no longer be trusting Ford. Thanks for nothing Ford.!!!!!! read more

The salesman listed a car that wasn't onsite. This was never mentioned. I came down from berkeley via public transit, a 3 hour journey, and was told by the salesman that the car was bought at auction. Car had 4 bald tires and they said they may only replace the front. Car needed new brake pads, and had damage to all exterior panels and much of the interior. The price I was told is non negotiable because the service department is not the same department as sales so sales must pay 350 an hour to their service team for any labor. As I prepared to leave the sales manager came out to try to sweet talk. I explained what I was told regarding labor cost and he said that was not true and asked who said it, with the salesman standing next to him. I made it clear they should wish themselves the best of luck lying to their customers. NEVER buy from this company!!! BELIEVE ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!! read more

I haven't even done business with them and I am so turned off by the experience, that I wouldn't. I simply INQUIRED about a car and they have called, text, emailed, and voicemails multiple times a day. It's excessive! So I just called to ask (politely but sternly) if they could stop because I got the initial inquiry and anything more is too much. The rep then became combative and that's when I wasn't so nice anymore. I'm not going to argue with you about spending my money. I will gladly take my business elsewhere. It's insane to think you could chastise me about making an inquiry and in the same breath expect me to spend money here. Not thank you! read more

Quite simply one of the worst sales experiences I have ever been through. I found a car online that I inquired about, and the salesperson told me it was there and they could do a great deal on it. I would rate this dealers a zero if I could. I bought a used Nissan Leaf and no damage was reported during the time of purchase.I am now in the process of selling the car and have discovered that Carfax has reported a damage that occurred 3 months prior to purchase. I had a pretty poor experience at this dealership with my Ford Transit. I scheduled an appointment online for an oil change. I showed up and I was ignored for quite a while. Eventually someone finally took my paperwork walked around the corner talked to somebody for a while and then came back and said that they can't work on my transit today. They only have one outdoor lift and its occupied. It took quite a while for them to get to the point where they could just tell me that I wasn't going to get an oil change today. In the end they suggested I go to Mission Valley Ford which I did today. The experience there was outstanding! For any commercial size Ford vehicle I recommend Mission Valley Ford. read more
