i have been coming here for years. the bar is beautiful and the staff is great . Julie a personal favorite for bar tender. drinks are solid pours and the food is great especially the pasta nights on m, t and w. Pasta night prices are great . my big problem always was the pizza. I am a westchester kid and we can be kinda snobby when it comes to pizza and I just never really liked it . went tonight for a drink and was hungry but not much so I thought a slice will do . from the first look I knew something was different, the first bite I was blown away . this was really good pizza. I asked the manager there think his name is Chris told me they changed the recipe for the dough and sauce and i think cheese basically an overhaul and I let him know it was a home run. I was looking for a good place to eat around Pauling and came upon this place after a recommendation from a friend. They also have a deli next-door and it's definitely above average Italian pizza place. There's a separate bar area with high tops. The chicken cutlets sandwich was above average although I've had butter chicken cutlets. The chicken marsala was a nice option, but I really like the bread when it's hot that they serve and the meatballs that came out as an appetizer. read more

The prices certainly continue to go up and up, here (but certainly not only here). $90 for two large pies, 2 salads and some buffalo wings in a small town pizza joint... sad times. While the pizza is still the best in town, I'm disappointed at the other shortcuts that certainly aren't very "small town" vibe. The buffalo wings were fine, and are supposed to include dressing, celery and carrots. Well, I guess there were 2 celery sticks and 2 carrots. Pretty lame. No napkins or plates or plastic forks included at pickup... had to go back in to ask for some paper plates. Counter guy asked how many I needed. 2 pies... so I asked for 8. He pulled out a pile of the cheapest paper plates and, i kid you not, painstakingly counted out exactly 8 for me. Probably saved half a cent with that stinginess, and in turn lost hundreds in my future business. Stop raising the prices while also doing the bare minimum. Sad a small town pizza joint has resorted to this. Times must be tougher than I imagine. read more

This stop was a late night pizza craving for us. We stopped too close to closing to get a full pie but we were able to buy some of the individual slices available. In town for the holidays and absolutely had to have New York Pizza. When searching local pizza places, this spot popped up and had some great reviews. Great choice for sure! We ordered a few pies to go, and they were ready for pickup fairly quickly. Pizza was hot when I arrived, and the staff was warm and welcoming. Typical pizzeria vibe, but there is also a full service restaurant area where you can sit down and eat. The Pizza itself was very good. We ordered a Cheese, 3 Meat, and Chicken Parm Pies. Great undercarriage-nice and crispy, and not a ton of flop. No pizza slice is complete without Ranch, so make sure to get some sides to go! Terrible service. All waitstaff are skilled at ignoring customers. They seem to make a practice of avoiding a table in the hopes that a coworker eventually caves and sees to the customer. We went to Town Square Pizza the first time yesterday and the Service was good but the food was horrible. We ordered food to go. One pie was burnt and the other overcooked. The shrimp parm sandwich I asked to have onions and peppers on, the also put sausage on. I didn't realize that they charged me $31for that sandwich due to their error. This place was recommended, but I can't do the same sadly. Even if food is to go it should be prepared with pride and quality. Shame on you! read more

They make THE BEST White Buffalo chicken pizza. The variety's of toppings and sauces are also so wide, which is how I came up with the white Buffalo pizza. Best decision! This is a great Italian pizza shop. The pizza by the slices is amazing great selections to choose from. The dine in portion is a nice quaint setting. The waiters are attentive to your needs and the service was polite and fast. The food is amazing my wife and I split the seafood combo plate which was delightful. The seafood tasted fresh and the sauce is a tomato base from heaven. The pasta was al dente and the warm fresh bread to dip In the sauce was excellent. Delicious food at very reasonable prices. We order from here minimum once per week (...and usually two-three times). The pizza is very good. I typically request it well-done, and if you want to avoid soggy pizza bottoms, I suggest doing the same. After living in NYC for many years, I would say this pizza is on par with many decent pizza places in the city. It's not *the best* pizza I've ever had but it's very yummy. Don't overlook the rest of the menu. They have seriously delicious sandwiches and high quality bread. The grilled chicken (with goat cheese and caramelized onions) and the chicken cutlet milanese sandwich are both great. I suggest getting the focaccia bread or the house bread. Both are reasonably priced and very large portions. The pastas are also delicious. I love the pesto rigatoni with chicken. It's less than $10 for the small size, but trust me, it's not small given the richness of the dish: I've never been able to finish it. Prices are really reasonable for the portions and quality. Craving pizza I called this place (Sauro's), despite I was apprehensive ordering their pizza to be delivered since it's too salty. HA...WTF...$32 for a large pizza with FRESH garlic (they probably use that precut jarred crap) & FRESH mushrooms. OK, $5 was the delivery charge which is what I would have given to the delivery dude. After reading a couple of reviews especially the review with the FLY EGGS...I will NEVER eat here again....!!!! NASTY....!!!! read more

I have a certain blind spot with all restaurants: whenever I find anything (soup, salad, entree) that I really and truly like, I eat the same things repeatedly. And so it is with the Tortellini Brodo soup (flawless Tortellini and a small leaf of spinach in a rich chicken broth), and the Pappardelle e Porcini (broad long noodle pasta, caressed with cream sauce, spinach, beautiful sausage, and savory mushrooms). We went there with a group of friends last night, and had a blast. They also have a gorgeous bar that they recently added on to the restaurant. Anyways, we ordered the meatballs (yum) and the calamari for an app. They also brought out yummy bread. We then ordered pizzas, which were all delicious, and a few salads. My husband and I split a sandwich too and it was really good - breaded chicken, pesto, cheese, lettuce, etc. on a great piece of bread that mimics garlic bread. I could eat that everyday.
