My husband and I stopped for a quick lunch before heading out for our helicopter tour. This was my first time eating poutine, and it was incredible! My goal for our trip was to find the best poutine and I found it here! We started out with one serving of poutine and while we were eating it, we found ourselves more hungry than we thought. We decided to order the burger and then another order of the poutine fries. The server was so nice, I wish I remembered her name. The service was quick and the food was hot. The burger was fantastic!Poutine was not what I was expecting, it was even better! Located in beautiful small downtown of pemberton I stopped at Town Square restaurant and honestly that brownie with chocolate ice cream and whipped cream on the side was the highlight of food on the hot sunny day. Brownie was warm, soft in the middle with just the right amount of chocolate and nicely puffed and the ice cream on top was super creamy and rich with chocolate sauce- the mix of hot and cold was good. Portion was a lot too for the price. I would recommend to not have too much of whipped cream as it makes dessert heavy. The vibe of the place is pretty chill, surrounded with nature , mountains and felt totally local. Service was friendly, nothing fancy but the staff felt relaxed and easy going and helpful. They didn't mind us taking our time either in selecting from menu. Clean ambience and good vibes. Overall it feels like a nice little local spot to grab dessert or even just hang out with friends. The good-lots of true gluten friendly options. Gf ice cream sandwiches were great. One of the burgers was good. For those that like them the fries were double cooked and crispy/harder. One server was friendly. The bad, super wait for a regular order, other tables being served that arrived long after. Exactly what you need after a hike. We dropped in at Town Square for some much needed post-hike fodder. It's a casual laid-back spot with AC (not every place in town has it). Service was decent. It wasn't especially busy at the time. We shared the Epic Poutine and the Q Bowl. Glad we got both - one for some salt and calories, the other to create at least an illusion of healthy eating - it was a good amount of food for two hungry people. The poutine was one of the better poutines i've had recently (though we were ravenous so could be some rose-tinted specs here). It comes with a large piece of fried chicken, bacon, pulled pork and some roast veg - and the perfect amount of gravy. The Q Bowl was good with a decent amount of curried quinoa over a balanced leafy salad. It also came with a large piece of fried chicken which was definitely the crown of the dish and would have lacked something without it. I'd definitely come back. Drove up from Van hungry for the fried chicken burger I ate here in July! It arrived quickly and after the first few bites I expected the waitress to ask how it was... she didn't. Busy chatting on the phone. 1/2 the burger was raw, like bleeding. When I was finally able to flag her down and point it out, she took the uneaten meat back to the kitchen for inspection. She explained that when the meat is close to the bone it's bloody ( boneless burger btw) I told her I know when chicken is cooked, she replied " so do we". Cool spot with good food and great local beer selection We had the epic poutine which was one of the best poutines I've had in a while (topped with their signature fried chicken, bacon, grilled veg), as well as the Q salad which was good with ingredients that tasted fresh (also topped with the fried chicken). They seem to have focus on local food which is always great to see. Worth noting is that their fried chicken is pretty damn good. Would try some if you're eating here. Swung in here for lunch on a summer Saturday. Service was great, but food was not. I ordered the buffalo fried chicken sandwich, which consisted of a single chicken finger on a bun. Not kidding, there was plenty of bread, shredded lettuce, and a single slice of Roma tomato, but barely any meat - literally a chicken tender. Most bites were bread, lettuce, and mayo. What a hidden gem! Cozy place on a small town in the middle of the mountain valley. The restaurant was spacious, nice bar and dining area, has a good variety of food and drink collections. First time we came for a seafood platter takeout, it was so good that we came here straightly in the second evening for dinner. Their seafood was so fresh! Nicely displayed and simply grilled, drizzled with some salt and lemon juice, DELICIOUS. $38 you get the whole platter, can't find such a good deal like this anywhere else. Both the guy and the lady who served us were friendly. It's sad that I don't know when would be the next time coming to Pemberton, but if I do, this would be the one and only place I go to eat. Town Square is a chill spot for brunch in Pemberton. My friend and I came a little after 11:30 on Sunday at the end of October and only a few tables were occupied. They have a great selection of benedicts, so we each got one. My friend had the BB King Benedict ($16), which is a veggie benedict with black beans. We've never seen this type of benedict before and were very curious about it. It was very good and came with a lot of black beans. I got the fried chicken benedict ($19) with the hollandaise on the side, and it was amazing. The fried chicken was fried to a perfect crisp and had plenty of flavor. The crispy potatoes that come on the side were good as well, just a bit bland. Nothing that some salt and ketchup can't fix! read more

I would avoid this restaurant. We got an order to go. Had to call in as there was several problems including missing main ingredients for a meal. The manager treated me horribly and made ME feel terrible for their mistake. So much so that I didn't feel comfortable even going in for the refund. He basically said if you want it fixed drive back and we will fix it. Being later and home for the night that wasn't an option for us. I was very disappointed and highly reccomend choosing a different place to eat. Besides the unproffessionalism of the manager on duty the younger hostess was very nice and professional. Which just made the situation with the adult manager that much more surprising and disappointing. So if you go here and your food is wrong be wary of saying anything.. with us spending over $60 for 2 meals. It's not the service or quality I hoped for. Celiacs dream!!!!!! Dedicated fryer- and no gluten going into the fryer!!! Had poutine and fried cauliflower and a couple desserts. I just stumbled across this restaurant when I saw their small sign about gluten free. When I backtracked there was some confusion about the name. Was it "Local Eatery"? Regardless, we connected and I phoned in a takeout order. It was delicious. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries. It was so moist and tasty with a good GF bun. It was really enjoyable. If I lived here I would definitely return. I also bought an irresistible piece of GF carrot cake I haven't tried yet today. Note that patio isn't dog friendly. I had both breakfast and dinner there recently and the food was amazing. The smoked salmon eggs benny had amazing flavor and was served on bannock while the bison burger was probably the best burger I've had in many many years. Portion sizes were huge. Three felafel the size of ping pong balls on wilted lettuce. Pemberton as a town is beautiful and amazing, but this place was a downer. My friend and I, two Asian males, were seated at the restaurant outside. There were two waitresses who were helping guests around us, but they never came and got our order. They were in and out of the patio multiple times but never bothered to ask us for our order. Why? Why didn't anyone bother to take our order? Was it because we were Asian? Did they think we were gay? Why didn't anyone bother to take our order? After 20 minutes of sitting and no one coming by, we walked out. It's 2019. I thought Canada was ahead? I came here expecting the old Chinese restaurant and found that it's now Town Square. They didn't serve Chinese but Town Square's menu was very broad. They served Banh Mi to meatloaf sandwiches, to very tasty bowls. My boyfriend and I shared a bowl and sandwich for lunch and it was amazing! Great brunch menu - delicious, creative, and fresh! This was our second visit to Town Square; we were there for their first "tasting night" and were impressed then. For brunch I ordered the Euro bennie: gorgeous, farm-fresh poached eggs with brie and prosciutto served on bannock and with traditional Hollandaise sauce. Pan-fried local potatoes were crispy and perfectly-seasoned. My partner ordered the Drop the Beet Bowl from the "More Like Lunch" menu - a generous, fresh, and filling vegetarian offering, with an egg add-on. Presentation was beautiful; with fresh tzatziki and loads of veggies, it was "full of surprises." Service was attentive and timely. The place is comfortable and stylish, with local artist's work on the reclaimed-wood walls. Having recently relocated from Vancouver, where we "brunched" virtually every weekend and ate out often, we're thrilled with this new local offering. Can't wait to go back, with friends! read more

Mediocre at best, happy they have gluten free options but they miss the mark on presentation, sauces and enjoyability. Not sure how the cauliflower chicken wings cost twice as much as the regular chicken wings. They aren't crunchy at all either. Leaving a lot to be desired. Could be served as a side of veg for a fraction of the price even at high end restaurants which this place is not. Which you can't tell by the prices. Incredible overpriced for what you Get. I've been here 4 times now and probably won't be going back. Each time I've ordered a salad they forgot to add dressing. The concept is good but they need somebody In the kitchen who understands how flavours work together. Not enough sauce up in here !!
